Do not use this company nothing but problems from the day we chose to go with them I was very transparent with Eve and Jeff from the beginning about this job told them from day one that it was all new Furniture being shipped to Hawaii that first they tell you everything you want to hear to get you to go with them and once you do it all bad from there then they want to change you all kinds of extra charges for work they already agreed upon then they find out how much the house is there and then want more money now it a shuttle now it going to cost you more which they stated the shuttle fee was by The weight of household goods and Didn’t do it that way at all had to go back a fourth with him to just put the beds together stated we don’t put things together. MOVERS don’t take apart, which I was very transparent with them from the beginning, stating that this was all new furniture. They didn’t even put together the things that MOVERS did take apart. They refused and only ended up putting the beds together at the end company in Hawaii was very slow. I’ve been in the Moving industry for 25 years and never had to deal with anything like this stuff gets to Hawaii. We’ve already paid them $13,000 dollars. They are calling and blowing me up saying they are not going to deliver the stuff unless they get another 1020.00 because it was over wight. Will never use them again we have a lot of projects out there going on and will rather pay more money for the better services then this company never again

We have moved many times and this was the best moving experience we have had. Everything was great with the pack-out and the communication pre and post move.

Worst move of my life. Condescending upper management. Refused to recover lost items. Stickers were removed and about 20% of the boxes turned up missing. There is no accountability, their insurance is useless since the burden of proof is impossible. The subcontract movers are unprofessional and MIA. My car was to be picked up and they had no idea the port was closed which cost me taxi fare and more rental car fees. The rudeness of the upper management was beyond unprofessional. In my opinion, you should never hire this company unless you want to experience the worst move of your life and be overcharged for it.

Very Pathetic Moving companies!Recently used North American Van Lines and Dewitt for a move from FL to HI.Horrible experience, inspite of a rock solid quote, we were overcharged by more than $1400 at destination without any explanation. They essentially stopped delivery in the middle till we paid more or they wouldn't deliver the rest of the things. No one from either company calls you or returns your calls or emails to give an explanation......very dishonest practices and have no idea of what they are doing! Couldn't care less about the consumer after making a commitment...stay away from these companies!

Sascha and Sharice were great walking me thru the process of my account! I have physical disabilities so I only sorted things prior to the movers coming. Alejandra and his crew packed up everything I needed to have packed and move within 3hrs. Everyone was amazing and had good communication during the process.

We recently moved from Ohio to Hawaii. Dewitt was an outstanding partner for our move. Our move coordinator, Sascha, was an absolute rock star and such a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and consistently helpful. She went above and beyond my expectations. Our local move team (Jason, Steve, and Steve) were professional, polite, and courteous. I would absolutely use Dewitt again for a move. The entire process was as smooth as it could be. A+ for sure from me.

Aloha.........Just wanted to write a brief review of my experience with Dewitt Move Worldwide. It has been such a wonderful and carefree experience since I called them to conduct my move to Hawaii Island. From the time they did the physical inventory to the quote and scheduling of my packing date I was always keep in the loop via email. The packers were so very courtesy and professional and the lead packer has been in the moving business for over 30 years. Within two days I received the invoice from Sharice Gomez of Dewitt Movers via email and I called her for payment. She was so very informative as to what I can now expect as my move to Hawaii continues with Dewitt and Royal Hawaiian Movers. I look forward to my furniture arriving safely in Hilo Hawaii in the weeks to come. Aloha Paul

Alex Zapata walked me through every aspect of my upcoming move to Maui. She went over & above her duties to help me. Also, the movers who packed & loaded my container were professional, polite, & reassuring. All in all, a great experience. I only hope that I have the same experience with Royal Hawaiian, on the Maui side!

This company is horrific. They were contracted through my initial moving service who were to handle my move throughout the mainland (west coast to east coast). Dewitt handled my shipment, which led to the arrival of my shipment as a complete nightmare. They used along with the coordination of another company to use coercion, verbal aggressive tactics, demanding of payment and signature with the use of force, duress and violation of my safety as a women, while also using grown men to stay in my home until I payed, signed, and withstood verbal aggression from their International Coordinators belittling me, yelling, talking down, using condescending tones to force me to pay some strangers that were not wearing any business attire while refusing to understand the situation, my contract, or answer my questions. After hours of waiting to understand why my prepaid shipment was now being treated like a car sale tactics or oil change add ons once they found out I was a young single women, the Dewitt Coordinators called the men to then pass the phone to me and proceeded to continually cut off trying to find answer and left in a situation that felt unsafe and uncomfortable. I did not agree or want to sign, nor did I fully understand the terms seeing how I was forced to sign under psychological pressure and coercion with the use of scare and verbal aggressive tactics. This led to my invalid signature under duress with protest, to ensure my safety and well-being were prioritized. Please don't use them and I have let my initial movers know as well to escalate this unprofessional and uncalled for business practices. To use movers, specifically men and corporate/higher ups to coerce money out of a person by making them feel unsafe, small, scared, and confused is disgusting, horrific, and uncalled for. To yell, berate customers, and use power and money over a customer demanding payment is rude and unprofessional and poor business practices. Negative 5 stars read the other comments.

This review is only for the pack-out of my move from NYC to Hawaii. The crew sent to do the pack-out of our apartment in New York was from Meyer in Connecticut. The Team was on time on their arrival and wasted no time getting to work. The Team was very communicative throughout the process to ensure they were packing all appropriate items. Additionally, they made sure to show me any items that were already damaged in some way as to make sure I was aware prior to packing. I was pleased with the pack-out team. The estimate given ended up being very close, but we actually owed less than the original estimate. There was a delay from the pack-out to the weighing of our goods of about a week. I would have preferred to get the final weight sooner so we could pay and get the stuff on the road. So far the customer service has been good. I will update this review or will write another review once we receive our belongings in Hawaii.

We've done overseas moves before and had to wait months, MONTHS, for our stuff to arrive. Dewitt moved our belongings from the mid-west to Hawaii in about 3 weeks! Hassle free and about $3K less than quoted by a competitor. Mind you, this is amid all the trucking and shipping fiasco caused by the covid-19 pandemic; Dewitt still managed to be fast, kept us updated without us needing to constantly call for a status report, and turned out to be the most economical mover. It's not easy to uproot a family and move, so getting your stuff shipped quickly really helps you to settle in to your new environment with less stress.

This is my third time using Dewitt to transport my belongings to KONA.It was a great experience working with Shelby. I knew exactly where my items were ( step by step) before getting to the final destination. So far, everything I sent with Dewitt arrived in perfect condition. Piece of mind!

We moved to Kauai in 2020. Our experience with DeWittwas awesome. However, it has been 56 days since Royal Hawaiian packed up our things to send to the mainland. The container was delayed a week in Kauai before being shipped out. It arrived to Tacoma on December 5 and released December 7. I waited 2 weeks to contact DeWitt as they told me to give 2 weeks before contacting them in San Diego. They did not have the “paperwork” in San Diego so they did not know the container was sent or arrived to Tacoma. Then they said it was on its way and would be in Boise either Dec. 28 or 29. It could be delivered on Dec. 30. The container did not show up. On Monday I called again. No one knew where the container was. It was found in Tacoma. Initially my calls were answered. Now no one will take my calls. We do not know when our container will be delivered. It has been almost 2 months. Who knows what condition our goods are in at this point. We are in our 70s and returned to the mainland for health issues. DeWitt’s lack of response is totally unacceptable.
