I really wanted to like this place because they have so many great reviews but I was soooo disappointed by the experience. I know my dog had a few mats and knots to get out in areas around his harness so I told them they could shave those if needed but asked that they only trim the rest of him because we don't like how he looks shaved. I got him back COMPLETELY SHAVED. I know I should've said something when I got him but I was in such shock I just wanted to get out of there, and so did he. After bringing him home we also found his nails were cut way too short and he has a few small cuts around his body. I don't think this is fully representative of the groomer entirely because I saw other happy dogs leaving with great haircuts while I was there for drop off / pick up, which us why I didn't give them 1 star, but this was my first experience there and unfortunately I won't be back.

Our dog loves this place! A great haircut and customer service for a wonderful price. They do a great job on our Aussidoodle who has curly hair and can be difficult at some groomers. I highly recommend Diego dogs!

Wonderful experience 1000% will be coming back . Amanda was amazing for our young puppy Gemma it was her first grooming and they took amazing care of her , made us feel very comfortable and extremely fair priced for how great their services are . She looks adorable!

For starters- I have a wild little man that has been coming here for 2 years now I think. We are so grateful for how kind and wonderful the staff is here even with our crazy frenchie I’m sure giving them a run for their money. Thank you Diego Dogs for taking such good care of Roman! His humans appreciate you:)

These ladies always go above and beyond to accommodate our needs. All the dogs get special and kind attention. They are very professional, but loving at the same time. They will accommodate any requests and take good notes on the account to communicate your dogs' needs to all the staff in the future. Rémy approved! ?

I have finally found the best groomer! After trying different places around SD, I knew I was in the right place when Donna called me! The amount of professionalism, personal attention, and love they showed for not only my fur baby, but myself as well really sealed it! My dog was a mess, and he came out looking amazing and he was happy. If I could give Diego Dogs Grooming 10 stars ⭐️ I would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Diego Dogs is the ultimate spot for our furry family! Amanda and her fantastic crew not only pamper our pets but shower them with love too. My wife and I have been loyal Diego Dogs customers for a solid two years now, and it's been nothing but smiles and peace of mind.Diego Dogs doesn't just meet expectations; they exceed them. Whenever I mention "Diego Dogs" to our dog Toby, he perks up like it's the best day ever! That's when you know you've hit the jackpot with a groomer. I can't say enough good things about this place.

I brought my 6 month old mini golden doodle, Ace in for his first grooming and these ladies did not disappoint. He came back cuter than I ever thought he could look. The were all so kind and it is very obvious they care about the pets and properly teaching doodle owners how to manage difficult hair. I can't thank them enough!

I've been taking my Hannah to Diego Dog for years! Wouldn't go any where else! They do above & beyond with Love & Care♥️. And also pay close attention to any special needs you may have for your pet. I'm so for this place!

Took my dog into Diego dogs for the first time the week before Christmas. It was a very busy day and I believe it took 2.5-3 hours for a bath + deshed for my M/L size dog. I do think this was unusually long, but understand it was a busy week before the holiday. His coat was so shiny and his ears were cleaned great! I did agree to add the deshed at the register at drop off and was given an estimate of $15-50 depending on the amount of hair. Of course it ended up being 50+ but was worth it.

Tried this place out for self-wash and will definitely return! The customer service was great and using the tub and such was very easy. You can bring your own soap or they can provide it (nominal charge I believe). The tub is nice and high so you can stand. Plus, the shower head has a little switch to stop water flow without actually turning off the water, which is very convenient. There is even a dryer hose available but your dog may or may not like it (mine did not). Best part is that it's very obvious that all the workers really care about the dogs, making the experience that much more lovely.
