I went here after need some last minute birthday decor. I normally go to the dollar tree closer to PB. I really regret going here. Boxes of unpacked items are everywhere. the shelves do not seem to be stocked. I was thankfully able to find what I was looking for after checking a box that was by the party decorations. When it came time to check out the cashier was taking a personal call. I jumped in the other line assuming she was on break. Why else would someone take a personal call? She started ringing up customers while taking on the phone about drama. Very odd, I definitely will not be coming back here.

Been here many times, and lately it hasn't been that good, not many drinks or cleaning supplies available or stocked up, things look messy but that could be because of customers, sometimes the lines are too long and there's usually only 1 cash register open, you'll see homeless people hang out near the store often, when things are stocked up they usually have a good variety of things that I look for but it hasn't been like that the last few visits.

This store is small and run down. Because the neighborhood stays a mess and their stock levels suck.

Just found out that 99 cents store closed?
This dollar tree closest to my location in San Diego was my first choice or just what I needed.
I parked store front, in front of three or four people in rags sitting camping standing/ blocking the sidewalk, conversing in their own world, I had to pass right through them. I didn’t find specifically anything I went to this the dollar tree for as all the isles with shelves are mostly empty.

i look forward to seeing the suprise goodies at dollar tree, but sadly through research i was made aware how the street people are almost stealing them out of business, which i was through my research caused the neighborhood walmart to pack up leave and close down, which i looked forward to doing my weekly shoping, which walmart called it the store was under" performing" being stolen out of business, i suspect is because in california you can steal up to $900+ dolars before it becomes a felony, on top of that the street people aint got nothing to loose, jail to them is 3 hots and a cot, on top of that, by the time the cops arive the 5 finger discounter is long gone, i sugested to put up signs we reward people who turn in shop lifters, also they could put on the sign please help us stay in your comunity turn in a shop lifter, there is no way do i have the smarts, to figure out the thousands of steps it takes to open 1 store now x that by 5000+ stores, i have heard street talk "i hate rich people, who are probably the low lifes that steal stores out of business, then i ask them do you know any poor people who have opened any stores lately, which causes them to go into a major grand maul sezure, trying to come up with a answer, then to further drive the point home, i say dont you think these rich people you say you hate, could easly close down every 1 of their stores and haply go to a tropical lisland and easly retire for the rest of their lives, not having to put up with low life shop lifters, facts even if money grew on trees the smart ones would get it first, fact i aint that smart, and i aint rich, so fact to the extent a person is rich is a measurement of their smarts, and i make it a point to thank them for being open, oh yeah if i witness a low life abusing a casheer, i will apologize for them being walked allover like a dirty rug, i try to conduct my life on the grudge factor, that means i go out of my way to treat people kindly and respectfull, so far it has worked out in my life real good

The store staff is friendly. But the store seems like one of the most ignored in the company. It’s a heap and a real insult by the corporation to our neighborhood. The regional manager or district manager, or whoever represents the corporation to the staff in the store, needs to step it up and provide to help and guidance to put the store back in order. It’s a mess inside and out. Most of the mom and pop stores in the neighborhood are tidy and well presented, but this place is a real bummer.
