Stepping into this co-working space, you instantly feel a wave of positive energy and creativity that's hard to find elsewhere. It's not just a place to work; it's a community where ideas flourish and connections are made. Also, a huge shoutout to Candace, our incredible community manager. She goes above and beyond in every possible way, making us feel valued and supported. Highly recommend to anyone looking for more than just a desk!

Downtown Works provides me with an awesome space when I have business downtown. As someone who works remotely in Oceanside but attend many events downtown, the space is very close to the train station and offers all the amenities one would need with a co-working space.

I started working out of the Little Italy location a few weeks ago and it has been a great decision. Candace was so great at introducing me to some members that can help support my business and she made sure I got settled in to the work space quickly. They have tasty coffee, snacks and valuable networking events! Come check it out!

The staff were rude and not friendly. The desks are fine, just big long tables & byo keyboard and mouse. There are some monitors that you can find and place on a table. I didn’t enjoy my experience and I won’t be back. I would rather have sat in a cafe and had free food than work from here.

Our team used this place as a meeting ground to see each other F2F as well as plan a major milestone taking place within the company. The venue is well-furnished and has an abundance of space communal sharing should not be an issue. Our team utilized these spaces for about a week and it was useful and accommodating. Please refer to my Pros/Cons list below:Pros:- Space- Internal Market (Large variety of snacks/drinks)- Free Coffee/Hot Beverages options- Free light/hand snacks- Food Truck Designated area- Filtered Water SystemsCons:- Poor signage for new travelers- Room lacked a telephone (communication system to be used to verbally communicate with meeting attendees not physically present)- Construction - (But this may be a Downtown San Diego practice)- Parking - (Same practice)

I love this place. The facilities are modern and clean and very convenient for a meeting away from our regular workplace.

I needed a place to work during construction at my home. Downtown Works is a wonderful, inviting space! It's very airy and light-filled, and there's coffee and plenty of snacks. The staff are super friendly and very, very attentive to needs. When I needed to make phone or Zoom calls, they have phone booths that have plenty of room. I really enjoyed the vibe and will be back because I was hyper-productive there!

This is one of the nicest co-working spaces I've worked out of. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Candace, Alyssa and Heaven are helpful and so sweet, and they put a high value on customer service. I love that the Downtown Works teams organizes many events and happy hours, and there are SO many opportunities for networking. This is a space that feels as comfortable as stepping into my own home office, but offers the structure of the office and opportunity for social interaction daily. If you are in the market for an upscale co-working space that offers community, comfortability and connection, Downtown Works is your answer.

Just okay. I used this space for a couple of months before stopping my open desk membership. Overall, it was decent. It's a quiet place to work with access to good wifi and coffee. From my perspective however, the staff seemed kind of cold. For example, a colleague and his client (a major company) came in to see about using the space for a video shoot. He immediately texted me to let me know how dismissed he felt by the staff member. They both agreed they were rude and acted like they didn't have time for them. They walked across the street and booked a full day shoot at another cowrking location.A week later, they actually filmed at the DW Carlsbad location however and I joined them for this shoot. The vibe from the staff at DW Carlsbad was much better, they were super accommodating and amazing to work with. If I didn't live so far away, I would transfer to that location.I chose DW because I wanted to support a local company verses a major chain like WeWork. I get why a lot of folks like this location, I just didn't share the same positive experience, which was unfortunate.
