I had a blast living here. Beautiful penthouse with amazing views and modern design for what I consider very affordable rent in Hillcrest. If you think you’ll live anywhere without a few bumps or miscommunications, dream on. But the property managers and owners are on site all the time and even live there - and give you their direct lines for easy communication. Apply with your eyes wide open and you won’t look dumb complaining later. building has glass urinals on the front of it, and people act like they thought it would be a quiet garden community. Lol. I had a fabulous time and met my now boyfriend there. Highly recommend for new San Diego gays looking to be at the center of it all.

This "hotel" is an apartment complex. They rent empty apartments as hotel rooms. There are no elevators. It's a walk-up so when I went there, I was not offered help with my 50 pound bag. I was 55 in 2019. The railing on the 2nd and 3rd floor had the crossbar removed for a more contemporary look, but made the railing very flimsy. There is no room service so if you want food, you have to go down to the restaurant, which I never made because I fell off the 2nd floor mezzanine onto the ground floor concrete sidewalk. I broke my right arm and wrist. This was on the first night I was there! The "manager" of the place gave me his card and cell number and said to call if I needed anything. I called to get some food the next day and never heard back, so I didn't eat for two days. I went on this trip to see my son in concert and had to miss that as well. Do not book here for vacation and do not live here. The place is dangerous. The railing bends, there's no elevator (not even a freight elevator) and God forbid you should need help! You won't get any.(Yes I did and I won.)

Beautiful apartments, but terrible management. I asked three separate times for an application from the property manager Mike but never received the application or a reply until he reached out days later to say it had already rented. I asked repeatedly to have someone from their company to reach out to only have my request ignored; I wanted to express my frustration and concern from this experience especially with being a person of color and leaving here without having the same opportunity to apply for housing as clearly what someone else had. It’s so disappointing to see a property manager act in such a way, and for a company to allow it to happen.

Restaurant under below.... Interesting folks living in these condo's... The look sleek and new and have become a landmark here in Hillcrest. Quiet neighbors.

Hello, I am posting this for a Yelp friend. If you are interested in knowing more or not.. here's a little info that you may find interesting regarding this site. According to information the cost was 15 million, metal used same as cars and painted red to be in your face. I'm giving it 3. I can see it obstructing what used to be views of Hillcrest. The restaurant is a lively place with good drinks, festive atmosphere and okay food.

I've had a wonderful experience living in this building. I get immediate responses for all of my maintenance needs. It's developed into quite the community and I am happy to call many of my neighbours my friends. Living above insideout is great. The units are equipped to block out noise if need be. But it's nice to embrace the community of Hillcrest right down the steps.

To start off, this is a beautiful building and gorgeous apartments; those on their own I'd give five stars. The unfortunate part comes from my experience with the property manager Mike. I let it go that he was almost 20 minutes late for our appointment, but my real frustration comes from his negligence for fair housing laws. There was a home I was interested, it was posted on a Thursday and I came in the next day to take a look. I asked him for the application three separate times. He never provided the application, and finally messaged me four days later letting me know the apartment had rented. I was never given a fair opportunity to put in an application and possibly rent here. For any context as well, I'm a POC and have definitely wondered if my experience with Mike would have been different if I was white.

This mixed use residential/commercial space is an excellent example of California indoor outdoor life.Designed by Foundation For Form Architects in San Diego, they do an excellent job balancing the exterior spaces for double height views and enough privacy to keep the twinsets happy.I suppose though you don’t take an apartment there unless your looking for an active downtown code as the downstairs bar/lounge is definitely a scene in itself.I recommend getting a res at Inside Out amd being part of the scene.

Oh man oh man this place lol. Just don't ever stay here unless you enjoy being discriminated against. I asked before moving into this place if there was a gym and was told that there was... little did I know, the only people allowed in the gym, are only people the owner wants to have sex with. After living there for what felt like forever, you hear a lot of things. Like how the manager mike has orgies in his room every weekend. Those men, very much allowed in the gym haha. My fiancé and I, as a lesbian couple felt very unwelcome, mostly just by management. There was also a suspicious amount of blood on the floors there lol. At multiple different times it was strange. One pool of blood right outside the managers stairwell. Mike B. Actually who just wrote his own review funny enough. Stay away is all I can say ! Haha that even rhymed.

Go homeless before you even consider living at Eitol Towers with Modern Living SD. The property "manager" Mike is a disgusting cowardly person. Mike has harassed me, treated me with inhumanity and has taken advantage of his "power". My apartment was inhospitable for 6+ months due to a severe and dangerous window break in my room. Mike and Craig paid zero attention to tenant problems at all. Mike accused me of being "entitled" because I have requested several times to get some help and repairs for my apartment problems. When you pay over $3,000 a month to live in their apartments you bet I want an attentive professional property manager. Mike never even had the balls to introduce himself to me and I lived there for a year!! He will try to say that I left gasoline in the garage-it was my roommate I never even took my bike out. He'll say that I caused issues in the garbage room, my roommates and I were always respectful of their property, and he'll say that I harassed him and all this bullshit but never did I ever come to his house pounding on his apartment door. I have lived in multiple different states and apartment complexes. Hands down the absolute worst experience in my, my roommates, and several of our neighbors renting lives. OH, and Mike is trying to illegally charge me thousands of dollars and pushed me in a corner where I NEED to hire lawyers. I have every email and text conversation to prove him in the wrong. Every. Single. Time. If I could give them negative stars I would.

Amazing property! It's definitely not any louder than any other urban community. The upscale Lounge/Restaurant insideOUT downstairs has delightful cocktails and delicious menu. The super friendly staff make you feel like family. The music volume is low and the super insulated windows close to hear nothing. The courtyard design is unlike any other living experience offered in San Diego. Oliver Coffea has the best handmade pastries that complement the craft coffee drinks. Live here only if you want to get to know other fun people with great attitudes on life. This is definitely not mission valley living - this place actually has a soul.Plus it's walkable to several grocery stores, bars, restaurants and the Sunday farmers market is literally next door.Fun!
