I live 2 minutes away and rent a car about twice a month. I will not use this location. I uber to the airport to pick it up. Let's just leave it at that. After three bad rental experiences in a row, I'm good to uber to the airport. And, it's probably faster than trying to check out there.

Very poor service. The charged me 1600$ first month and said I would pay same rate but the charged me1800 and said it was the same!

Very weird experience. I Just booked a vehicle from here through the Enterprise app. All seemed ok. The app promptly sent me a confirmation. After an hour, I received a phone call from a local rep saying that they do not have the vehicle I booked. I asked how that can be? They said, the app does not work properly, and routinely provides wrong information about availability. They said that they had mentioned this to Enterprise repeatedly, but Enterprise does not fix the problem in the app. They also said that the cars that they have are only partially fueled up. So, my options were to get a car that is different than the category I booked, and either to prepay for fuel at their exorbitant rate, or (b) eyeball the gas level in the tank when I return so it is refueled just right, or (c) overfuel the car to avoid getting overcharged by Enterprise. One of the most ridiculously run operations I witnessed. Canceled my reservation, and booked it from Hertz, which is just across the street from this location.

I strongly recommend Enterprise. They are polite, kind, competent and professional. Ryan was of great help to me.

Totally screw customers with no drop off on Sunday. Driven by money and not customers. Outsourced reservations so service gone to hell since pandemic. Pick a different car rental company.

Rented car online without incident. Per Enterprise protocol called 24h in advance for free pickup service from my home.Vehicle rental perfect for my needs. Received courtesy text from manager day one of rental making sure rental service & staff met my expectations.Return was easy & hassle free.

The manager Eveen Kanno was beyond helpful. They let us use a nicer car than what we signed up for because there was a small issue. She even waved the pet hair fee for us. She made the rental process fast and easy. I have dealt with other branches of enterprise, like the miramar location, and her service completely blows away the miramar branch. The guy with the mustache is very friendly too. Even if you have to go a little out of the way to get to this branch, I would highly recommend seeing Eveen.

Quite often, there is a customer-focused solution that would resolve any adverse encounter. It's what Enterprise is known for. To exceed our customers' expectations for service, quality and value. In this case, we asked a simple question: what is the process for if a rental car is towed? The representative refused to answer; instead questioning if the car was stolen, and pushed the issue, which it was not stolen. So I asked if he could look up the police non emergency number so I could call, and he decided that was the time to have attitude by frowning and looking at me like I'm an idiot, getting his personal phone out, and looking it up. I left my phone in the car. This could have been avoided by being concerned and having empathy for a customer needing assistance with a vehicle that was towed out of her control. Great things happen when you listen, and customer service is your way of life, so it's good to keep that in mind. Sure, my associate was refused future service. Hopefully any future rentals facilitated by TESLA are handled by another firm. As for me? I'm switching my business and personal rental preferences to Avis; away from Enterprise, National, and Alamo. Maybe the rep had a bad day. Maybe he doesn't like Tesla insurance customers. Maybe going the extra mile for customers doesn't involve empathy for women (like my associate) in distress. Who knows.

I had a great experience at this location thanks to Rio, Eveen (V), and Steve! They were all extremely friendly, professional, and timely in setting me up with my rental car and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with the car. They allowed me to upgrade my car without any complaints & picked me up and dropped me off where my car was getting fixed which was a HUGE help. I had an amazing customer experience and would 10/10 recommend this location. Thank you enterprise team for being so GREAT!! :)

If there was a zero rating system I would have left a zero. The absolutely worse customer service I have ever been exposed to. They basically tried to accuse of us scamming them b/c we were trying to come up with solution for my daughter who just moved to CA and had an out of state license and is under 25. No payment option was an option - no online payment, no over the phone payment, no debit card. She is 22 - she doesn't have an unlimited credit card and was her credit card was short $35 of the total $675 amount that needed to be charged. My money wasn't good enough and when I suggested we just reduce the number of rental days so that she could use her card that is when they said that unethical and insinuated that we were up to some funny business????? Really? This was after suggesting multiple alternatives (I am out of state). I have been renting cars for 25 years and was highly offended they would leave a stranded 22 year old who ubered there to pick up a rental car and accused us of XX (I have no idea how reducing the number of days equates to scamming them). Do not rent from this company. Anyone who treats young adults like they are thieves are disgusting.

The Pacific Beach Enterprise Rent-a-car is my go to spot. Zach the manager runs a well oiled machine and seems to please and ensure the satisfaction of the customers and employees that works with him. I travel for work and frequent this enterprise location a few times a month and I don't usually write reviews but I feel that they deserve a 5 star review. Melissa was over the top friendly and made me feel very comfortable with the car I reserved and even offered me other options to make sure I was satisfied. When I dropped off my car they greeted me upon arrival and promptly attend to me checking in my car that took less then 5 minutes on a Friday. What further prompted me to write this review was an unruly customer who seemed off his meds at the time of pickup and I have to give the whole team accolades for their professionalism in handling a difficult situation. They don't get to pick who rents a car but they do have to choose how they treat customers and I was more then impressed with their customer service and politeness in a difficult situation. But the best of all was my ride home with Karima. This is the second time she has driven me home and both times she is has been so sweet and made me laugh the whole ride home. If you are looking for an A+ customer service experience rent a car this is the spot!

The service here is always super slow and they treat you like it’s a problem to help you when you come in. I’ve been here multiple times and paid with a “Tap to Pay” option, but now the company says they can’t don’t that anymore, and they don’t care to ask and see it they can. So I would avoid this location at all cost, you deal with san diego college kids who have no sense of real customer service.

Friendly sales people and nice clean cars to rent. They get really busy though and I had to wait a lot.
