John at enterprise 7993 balboa ave tried to upsell me an SUV for $10 more a day. Only the way he went about it was wrong. Told me I paid for a small sedan then said well we have this SUV. I said whatever you have is fine then he said only $10 more a day. I said I'll take what I paid for then and I asked him if he was trying to upsell me and he says of course. I asked if I look like I have an extra $10 a day to spare and he responded "I don't judge". John, if I wanted the SUV for $10 a day don't you think I would've paid for that? Stop upselling people at the last minute and just give me what I paid for. On top of that he brought me a car with lots of dings and scratches on it.

I want to update my review after the guys this morning were very helpful and jumped to help They understood my frustration and replaced my car right away Old feedback: I just got a car from them that paid by Ford dealership The service was not that great but not to bad also When I went outside and the guy show my the car I asked if he can replace it because of the colour, he says that don't have any other Ford at the moment but I can come back in few days I called them after few minutes to here office and the girl on the phone told me that they have quite few of those in many colours Just the fact that they lie it's not ok with me It's take 2 minutes to replace the car Unfortunately because I have a Ford I believe that I will be visit here many more times because those cars are pretty unreliable

They were fast i only waited 10 minutes to pickup vehicle then when I dropped off they gave me a ride to body shop.

Absolutely the WORST customer service I’ve ever had in my life. The “manager” on duty had the craziest power trip I’ve ever seen. Not one person knew left from right when it came to policies or procedures. The “manager” even went as far as trying to cancel our reservation/put us on the “do not rent” list because his ego was brushed. Come to find out he couldn’t do either. If you need a rental STAY FAR FAR away from this location.

These folks are fantastic they were absolutely the nicest people in the world they gave me a ride even after I couldn't rent a second car mine was in the shop they got me to where I needed to be got me home.Thank you Enterprises

Chet really was helpful during the return of my rental. Even gave me the chance to refill my tank. I've been using enterprise for over 6 years and have never had any issues. If anything I'm thankful I can choose the car I want to drive or go to a different lot to find something I'm more comfortable with.

The staff gets a 5 star rating hands down!The vehicle, not so much. I'll give it 2 stars being generous.> 50,000 miles and several years old is not the vehicle I'm used to renting at Enterprise.

Edit, 1.30.24: I rec'd a follow up email from my initial 'contact us email' I had sent. They said that the excess distance fee was tied to the type of car I rented (luxury vehicle- Volvo) and that this fee was mentioned in the fine print of the paperwork I signed BUT they still sent my issue to the location I rented from so that I could receive either a refund or further explanation. Someone from that location called me and said it was an iPad error at checkout and I'd be refunded the fee mentioned below.Going forward, I will be cautious of this type of fee.Thank you for helping me.***Returned my rental car only to find out I was charged an excess distance fee of $300+. I tried calling earlier and the line just rang and rang. I've sent an email via their Contact Us page. I'd like an explanation regarding this charge as I've driven further and never rec'd this type of charge.

Very professional and easy to rent a car
