My boyfriend and I went into this Macys looking for a pair of earrings for a gift. There was a good selection of earrings but the service wasn't great. The woman who was working at the counter kept staring at us while speaking with her co-worker which made me really uncomfortable. In comparison to the other locations I've visited, I would say this location has a better selection but the judgmental workers really ruin the experience.

The store was filthy. It made the shopping experience incredibly disappointing. I left purchasing nothing, even though I needed a dress for an upcoming wedding.

Oh, Macy's is the bomb dot com! I absolutely love shopping there. They have the latest fashion trends, awesome deals, and a huge variety of products. Plus, their customer service is top-notch. It's always a fun and exciting experience to shop at Macy's!

The staff said "During holoiday season we only allow try-on one foot at a time. If you want to try another foot, you need to bring back the one you have."Never been to a shoe store where you can only try one foot at a time. This is definitely discrimination.

I came to UTC to get an outfit for a funeral thinking it would be a pleasant experience. The store was a mess, the bathroom was closed and the entire store stank. I feel bad for the employees there, they are obviously understaffed. Clothes were all over the floor and the changing room was disgusting. I can't blame the workers, they all seemed busy helping people but are in desperate need of more help which is why I'll give at least two stars.... Otherwise, it'd be one for sure.

LOCATION: 4333 LA JOLLA VILLAGE DRIVE ,SAN DIEGO CA. 92122. I have a complaint. Against several employees IN MACY'S WESTFIELD UTC fine jewelry department. My fiancee' purchased a diamond sol/wed item number: 840535117961 263/45; Description: 1 CTTW HIJ/I213 RNDCLUS D/C/V/S 263/45/411/48491 Originally $2200. ALONG WITH THE w/ FJWorryNoMore Insurance policy #:400818516098 985/4, Diamond on 12/16/2022. He proposed on his birthday 12/19/2022 at the former Truluck's restaurant. I returned to this Macy's Westfield UTC location with my fiancee' to upgrade to my preferred diamond ring. An Asian woman (Macy's staff member) treated me with such indignation. Think of the OPRAH moment when a cashier told Oprah to wait until a sale, assuming Oprah couldn't afford the product. The Asian woman in Macy's jewelry department treated me with such contempt, as a typical stereotypical RACIST would. SHE called security upon sitting down with us. Explained to security that she was showing a diamond, then proceeded to lock the jewelry case each and every time she opened the jewelry box. Told my fiancee't to wait to propose in May of the next year, because the diamond would cheaper. IMAGINE!! Yes, this happened!!!! THE ORIGINAL CASHIER that help with the purchase of this diamond WOULD NOT ACKNOWLEDGE US!!! She stood at her cash register never looking up even thou we sat at the counter waiting for some assistance. We both are graduates from great universities, wholesome people with friendly welcoming non-threatening personalities, yet ... this was her decisive approach to customer service. There should be camera footage and security recordings of this Asian woman and her colleagues on this incident just days after 12/16/2022. AT THE TOP OF THE RECEIPT is the number: 547-0033-1686 71099583-0033 @ 10:50A 12/16/2022 R2350547003316867107

If you order online, I advise: Check your order when picking up curbside. Almost $300 spent on perfume with no free samples or gifts in bag. The good: Ready in less than 24h for pickup. Perfume must haves: Valentino, Born In Roma Mugler, Alien Goddess Thank me Later! Parking for mall: 1st 15mins - free $2.00 hour after. Curbside located outside store entrance.

I enjoy visiting Macy's, especially INC. I usually find what I am looking for and the prices are reasonable. Also a lot of good deals to be had on the sales racks

Worst experience ever. Actually, I don't even know if it was even an "experience" since my whole shopping trip was approximately one minute before I got up to leave. Last time I shopped at Macy's was near Mother's Day, when this location suffered multiple shoplifters. I was one of the witnesses who saw these shoplifters, but that day I was dressed up so -- of course -- they didn't suspect me. It seems like their loss prevention program is just retailers asking suspicious-looking people "May I help you?" then right after asking another customer to seem inconspicuous. Well -- In the many years of shopping at Macys, I have never had a worker come up asking if I needed assistance. If anything, it was even more difficult to find an associate to help me. Mind you I am an Asian women shopping by myself with a cap. I guess I wasn't dressed up enough for this retail store because 20 seconds after I came in and looked around, the lady asked "HOW MAY I HELP YOU?" aggressively. I wanted to see if they had any DKNY Varsity jackets. So giving her the benefit of the doubt that I wasn't a shoplifter, I asked her "yeah, do you guys have any varsity jackets?" The old lady stared right into my eyes without glancing elsewhere (maybe... I don't know... her store inventory computer) and said firmly, "NO... No... I don't believe we don't." Wow, thanks for your amazing help. I'm sure you know EVERY item in the store without looking it up. She stared in my eyes the whole time during the encounter, making me feel extremely uncomfortable. I said thank you and left the entire store because at that point, I couldn't even look around without being suspected. Anyways, like the actual shoplifter on Mother's Day, she asked a group of boys right after if they needed help. It's ridiculous. It's one thing to be wary of shoplifters, but it is another to assume me, an Asian women who wore a cap but a bright white shirt, a skirt, and Crocs, to be a shoplifter. If my assumptions are wrong and I'm giving Macy's another benefit of the doubt, then it is disgustingly awful customer service to NOT even serve a customer who asked for help. You offered help, I asked for help, and you denied help. 1/5 Stars. They have last season handbags anyways.

Oh, how mighty Macy's has fallen. I thought the Macy's was bad and decrepit at that sad Carlsbad mall*. But I've found a worse one: the Macy's at the posh UTC mall. On a recent visit, I enjoyed all the following: - A weird pervading smell. Clean the carpets already, or remove them. Or are there diapers secretly living in the racks? - Volunteering for a search and (if necessary) rescue mission to find a cashier. Or was I supposed to take the stuff home and call in my CC#? - A $10 overcharge on a shirt. When shopping at Macy's, you never know exactly how much something is going to cost, because there is always some sort of sale going on or you have a coupon on file that doesn't exclude your purchase. That said, the price should never be *more* than what's on the tag. - A shirt that was impossible to try on, because they jammed the exploding ink tag through the entire shirt. At least the tag didn't explode when I chucked the shirt at the wall of the stinky, unlockable(!) changing room. -Nobody working the shoes department. Those shoes on display aren't meant for taking home; somebody gotta go get your size. - A cashier who scolded those of us who asked for assistance with shoes, saying "why are you asking for shoes a half hour before closing?" This caused a father to walk his embarrassed teenage son right out of the store. - Searching for shoes in the disorganized stockroom. Ironic to read Macy's latest memo there on "shortage" and seeing that tens of thousands of dollars of various brands simply disappear from the store each month. If Macy's actually had employees, maybe shoes wouldn't be walking themselves out the door. What a debacle. This leaves me to wonder: how does Macy's still even exist, except to wring out the last few cents of pandemia stimulus funds? * It's the Macy's where, when you go into the dressing room, the hair on the back of your neck stands up, because you feel like somebody died in there:
