Fisherman's Landing is a great fishing tackle shop and landing on the pier. It is an excellent and very organized shop with everything you need, from licenses to the best tackle for a successful and fun fishing experience. The guys are very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and more than happy to help get you set up right, including spooling reels. The charters and crew, like on the Dolphin and Pacific Queen, are top notch, amazing, first rate, friendly, outgoing, and incredibly helpful. They take care of everything from food and bait to on-site filleting. It is a great location for great fishing, though parking is a challenge, so arriving early is recommended.
Nice convenient drop-off point for deep-sea fishing. Also a few simple restuarants and lower-end but clean hotels.

Nice boat for full day fishing for intermediate fisherman. It can get chaotic with all the fishermans lines in the water but when you get the hang of it, it's like musical chairs. Captain finds you the fish and all you gotta do is drop the line. Caught a few yellows and other random fish.

Came from WA state. Tuna Trip was cancelled by the captain of the Pacific Queen day before my flight on Sunday. That's okay, because I made the best of being there in SD for the week. Shit happens.
