“The Fruit Stand has the best produce around! This place gets most of its fruit and vegetables from San Diego County so it is FRESH as fresh can be. Most of the products are organically grown or at least pesticide-free as well. Cheaper than a farmer's market and more variety. Some items they carry are: broccoli, lettuce, carrots, string beans, radishes, potatoes, strawberries, cilantro, cucumbers, raspberries, corn ears, apples, oranges, snap peas, avocados, onions, ginger, mangoes, pomegranate, passion fruit, guavas, spinach, eggs, blueberries, blackberries among many others.”
“I love this little place. The selection is small but the fruit and vegetables are fresh and fantastic to the taste. Its a strange little store with odd offerings of canned goods, bakery products, produce and plants. They have a pretty good nut selection as well. They are not cheap but the quality may be worth it to you.”
“Fantastic salad bar always fun during the holidays they have special items. Sometimes it's a wait to cash out occasionally there's one employee that's grumpy.”
“I love this place! They carry all the seasonal items I grew up eating from our 7acres in Northern Michigan, and soooo much more. Reasonable pricing as well! Knowledgeable Staff, friendly and helpful. Wild Mushrooms galore! This isn't just for restaurants, open to the public. Foodies and amateur Chefs, inspired home cooks... this is THE place in San Diego for the freshest produce you're likely to find.
Now... where's the 6-star rating option?!?”
“The place is huge! Despite all the inventory, it is well organized and very clean. The produce selection is outstanding
I didn’t see other parts of the meat department but the cuts and selections of fish available were very impressive.
So many great things everywhere I looked. I could have stayed another hour and a half just exploring everything they have to offer. I’ll definitely be back as I won’t be able to stay away!! lol”
“Really good place to shop for pantry staples. They can be a bit limited in selection if you need something complicated but if they have what you need it's always cheaper than anywhere else.”
“Very clean supermarket, lots of parking. Service is always excellent esp from the fresh seafood section who cleans your fresh fish, to service from cashiers, and esp the service from the cooked food section selling whole duck, BBQ pork, dimsum, etc. The cooked Chinese food is so delicious, (they have a better chef). Get a 1-item, 2-item or 3-item combo. Also, they have bento boxes of hot food from $10.99 - $11.99 - all delicious. This has become my favorite place to shop. Highly recommend.
(Note: Also, as you enter the store, there is a food court on the right side serving fried chicken, pho soup, and other hot Korean dishes).”
“This doesn’t come up when you search “market” but they have all of the things I need in a pinch! Milk, eggs, butter, peanut butter, ice cream, boxed meals. Great neighborhood market!”
“I don’t understand how this place is so well priced. Some stuff is cheaper than Vons… if the fruits in season they’ll have a box towards the front of the fruit. They source some really good stuff. The best passion fruits and pears.”
“Always good deal$! Did some shopping for a birthday party today... I am a regular here @ the Fletcher Parkway store, cashiers go out of their way for customer service!”
“Love this place!!! I am in and out in no time at all. They have all you need and excellent prices, the staff is friendly and all their products are fresh and easy to find.”

“When you walk in it looks like a run down flea market or bazaar! Don’t let that fool you they have a nice friendly staff, good produce and products. Better than fair prices and quick and painless.”
“Cute place, reminds me of Barron's... However their deli is cold. Like cold potato wedges. I guess you're supposed to take it home and warm it up... reheated potato wedges?? It's laid out beautifully and everyone in the deli is nice and helpful”
“Same as before but they really worry about the Corona virus they take extra precautions in the hygienic of the warehouse any person that is not wearing the appropriate health ware is not a loud in the premises”
“Pretty quick loading. Victor, a loader, is awesome. I arrived at 8am, was told they were waiting for tomatoes to be certified. I had to wait 3 hours to get loaded”
“The Byron store in North Park, San Diego, is truly exceptional. It’s the best store in the area, offering high-quality products and consistently fresh food. Most impressive is their salmon—so fresh and juicy that it’s practically sashimi-grade. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. Additionally, their generosity stands out—they donate food weekly to local churches, which is deeply appreciated. A fantastic store all around!”
