I love working with Derek. I've dealt with inexplicable back pain for many years and have had various treatments and seen a variety of practitioners. Derek was able to instruct me through great exercises that increased my strength without compromising my back. I love that the training is based on everyday(/athletic) movements and functions, exercises that enable me to live a healthier, more pain free life day to day. The facilities are very clean too. Could not recommend more for personal training!

I signed up for a series of training sessions with Derek Motsinger because I was looking to get some guidance from a Chek practitioner. Derek is a true professional and really know his stuff. The program that he put together for me is tailored to what I need and I have been feeling great and am excited to see continued results. If you are looking for a skilled practitioner to teach you sound principles of movement and exercise, I highly recommend Derek Motsinger at Full Circle Fitness.

I've been training with Derek for about a year now and I've seen excellent results. I used to lift heavy but a couple of years ago I got bulging discs and I needed a trainer that was knowledgable and experienced enough to help me get back to my game. With Derek, I started seeing results after only a couple of months and now my symptoms are nonexistent and I'm pretty much back to lifting the same weights I used to lift. Derek is incredibly skilled, personable, and innovative. He's constantly changing my routines so I can get the maximum results possible. I'm very lucky to have Derek as my trainer!

Josh Maness and Derek Motsinger are really fantastic coaches. I have been going to Full Circle Fitness Coaching for many years now and they've helped me with strength training, proper posture, sports conditioning for cycling, injury prevention (and recovery) and, frankly, are among the nicest guys I know. The gym is as much a family as a place to work out. Highly recommend.

I've been working out with Derek for almost two years. He and Josh are the real deal. Very knowledgable in anatomy and excellent communicators. They design a routine specific to your needs. In my own case it was mostly to extend physical therapy. Chronic pain is now gone from an old lumbar vertebra fracture, rotator cuff has not bothered me in a year and a bum knee is healed. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Josh is extraordinary. Stop what you're doing and call him. I've trained with Josh now for 7 years, and over all of that time, I have never stopped expanding my level of fitness. I recommend him for ALL levels of fitness, because I've worked with him at all levels of fitness, myself. ;-) When we started, I was 'soft' (read: a little fat) and consistently injured and in pain from years of poor diet, posture, and technique. Our first few sessions were amazing - he listened to what my goals were, evaluated my very screwed up postural alignment, and put together lifting patterns and a plan to correct all of it. Not to mention, about 5 sessions in he was able to assess that a cervical-spinal issue might be the root problem -- he referred me to a top-of-their-field expert -- and sure enough, he was right. Working in tandem, they resolved all of my posture issues within a week. (Holy crap!) After that, the sky was the limit. I said I wanted to gain muscle mass. He put together a plan. Boom - I gained 10 pounds of lean muscle in a gain cycle and then lost 2 of it in a lean-out phase. (I didn't even know what any of that meant when I met Josh, by the way.) Now, because of Josh, I have some mastery over my body. When I want to pour it on and gain muscle, I can - just by eating right and hitting the gym. I've never been so confident and strong in my life. Thank you Josh. You're a miracle worker.

FIVE STARS is what I'm allowed, but to me the galaxies should be for representing the amazing fitness help from Derek and Josh. On occassions arriving early has its benefits, while awaiting my scheduled time, I'll watch Josh working out, his form, and techniques helped me understand strength, balance, and perseverance. Derek is my actual trainer: He often rehearse, diet, exercise and lifestyle, but also examples to a perfected technique. Derek has been my lifestyle coach for above 15 years: I lost weight, added muscle, redirected choices, especially food, perfected meditation, with relaxation while realizing my goals. Derek's assistance with goal direction, motivates towards greater rewards! Full Circle Fitness!

I've been working with Josh for almost 2 years now and it has been a completely life-changing experience. He has helped me with diet, proper form, exercise routines and most of all motivation! I have lost a good amount of excess weight. I look better, I feel better and I have more energy. Working with Josh has improved both my personal and professional life as I am now more confident in all my interactions with others. When I started working out with him I was trying to move from fast food to mainly frozen options. Today I cook the vast majority of my meals and enjoy being able to share my new passion for cooking with others. Although I still have those occasions where unhealthy, processed foods seem to have an almost irresistible draw, Josh has shown me that I can turn it around immediately and get back to working toward my goals. Previously I would never show up at the gym even though I had an on-going membership. Currently I see Josh twice per week and hit the gym on my own between 3 and 4 times. I never thought I would be back to the point where I look forward to working out, but seeing the benefits over time definitely helps to keep you motivated!

I have been training with Josh for 2 years now and cannot say enough good things about him. I went to him to teach me how to do Olympic style lifting. He has been patient and observant with me. He can anticipate your needs and focuses on strengthening weaknesses. His skill set continues to amaze me. He has worked with me on functional moves, rehabilitation from injuries, strength training and soft tissue mobilization. I would recommend Josh and the trainers at Full Circle Fitness to anyone.

I've been seeing Josh for almost a year now. He's so diverse in his training and works a lot with posture. I mainly see him for out of water surf workouts to keep me in shape. Love his tactics and workouts!
