I really like this gamestop. the ONLY reason i'm giving it a three star is because of one of the staff that work there. i believe his name is Marco? my mom and i went to this gamestop location recently to buy a birthday present for my brother. As we finished looking around, we walked up to the register to purchase the items. Marco was very rude with how he spoke to me and my mom. my mom was trying to ask him a question in spanish and he kept cutting her off saying "huh? what was that? i can't understand you". my mom eventually stopped asking him the question and after some awkward silence, he says "i'm kidding. i do speak spanish". i get joking around with customers but when you drag it on for as long as he did, it's no longer a joke. not to mention before i even went up to pay for my things, he was nowhere to be seen, one of the other staff members (who is a complete angel. she helped my mom and i with picking out a present for my brother) completely alone with no help as the store began to get busy. when he finished ringing up my mom and i, he went to the back room again and left the poor girl alone to deal with a line of people. When going to this location, i recommend asking for help from the girl with curly hair. she is awesome!

Bought a refurbished Xbox one controller for my pc. After around a week, I noticed the controller would randomly input button's I messaged Facebook Gamestop support, and the agent told me nothing could be done since I've had it for over a week. I was disappointed since the refurbished controller was only like 5 dollars cheaper than a new one. I had a gift card i was trying to get rid of, so i just got something of the same value.

The worst GameStop I've ever been, I remember during Covid I tried to call in to check on an item, and the employee was really rude over the phone, yes today I decided to give this place another chance because it was the closest one to where I live. I brought an item in for r&r with a receipt as proof of purchase, the employee straight up refused to give me any money back, he stated that the box was not sealed and damaged, I told him nothing on the receipt policy said I can't return it if the item was defected, so he tried to flip it by saying he needed to ask his manager, he went to the back and came back shaking his head, he said nothing he can do if the item has already been opened, of course it had been opened, if I didn't open it, how would I know if I wanted to keep it or not, what kind of a policy is this? Nothing on the fine print indicated it. But this manager didn't even come out to explain, but he/she let an amateur who couldn't even make decisions like he was never been trained, he even said I should bring it back to the original GameStop store and return it there. What the heck? So this GameStop location is exclusively making their own rules, refused service to customers, I mean I can see all the bad reviews and now I experienced myself. I never seen a store that can't refund a customer and telling them to back to where they bought the item which also a GameStop, it's like I was forced to buy an item I didn't want anymore, but since I bought it from some crook at a third world country sweatshop, the rule would be you break it you buy it, I am just wow, this location shouldn't stay opened if they're going to operate like this. I am sure if I return an item at Costco, Walmart, or any big retails store, they would not tell me the same thing.

This is a ok gamestop. I mean they have everything that any other gamestops would have at same prices. The female staff everytime I go in never ask if you need help ginding anything they are always just talking with each other behind the counter, a ltittle more customer service would be good.

This store seems not to care about their customer. I went back to get a console, but it did not work out. The bottom line here is that the employees on this store are NOT customer friendly!

I called the store looking for merchandise The guy that answered the phone Jalyn was very helpful and so nice I felt so welcomed and taken care of past experience from other game stops when I call and they just say “we don’t have what You’re looking for” and they just end the call he was so nice even looked it up if any other store had any would recommend this store A++ on customer service

My husband and I walked in looking for two things. A controller and a new game for my switch. We began to look around and were greeted but not offered help. We couldn’t find what we were looking for so my husband went to ask the ladies if they sold it and told us that we would have to look for it online somewhere. No biggie. But we shouldn’t have to be looking around so long without being approached to be offered help. The ladies were too busy talking about another coworker that was not on at the time. I would suggest worrying about your customer a little more and a little less about the new employee who may or may not be getting a promotion and what you may or may not like about this new coworker. Maybe your numbers will go up that way. Needless to say we left and went to the mission valley location to which we received the kindest of service.
