The customer experience at GEMFIX is top notch. We flew to San Diego to check out some Montana Sapphires for an engagement ring, and were blown away. Andrew was not only extremely helpful in the selection process, but also clearly passionate about his work. The inventory of Montana Sapphires is second to none. We highly recommend going to GEMFIX in person to pick out your gems. It's even better if you make a trip out of it and celebrate with some oysters and Champagne!

Andrew is extremely knowledgeable and passionate in his craft. They have a huge selection of beautifully cut Montana sapphire, and Andrew was very patient and helpful as I browsed the collection. I ended up purchasing two pairs of stones (because I just couldn't make my mind up) and returning one later. They honored their 7-day return policy with no questions asked, and I couldn't be happier with my final purchase.

My fiancé made it very clear that she didn't want a diamond due to the unethical mining practices around the world so I knew I had to find something even more special.If anyone is interested in picking up something special for a friend or loved one, I cannot recommend Gemfix enough! The company is run by a couple out of San Diego ? Huge selection, beautiful quality and appropriately priced. I had many questions and concerns about buying a stone this rare online but Andrew was excellent in answering my questions and helping me pick out the perfect stone.(I'm not being paid for this, the service and selection is just that good!)

Andrew did an amazing job helping us decide on the perfect center stone, a rare Montana Sapphire, for an engagement ring, even with multiple appointments. We found Gemfix while searching for an ethical Montana sapphire in a very specific shade of blue that was hard to find. Gemfix had a couple that looked close and they were quick to respond to emails. We had two shipped overnight and the descriptions were spot on! Both were beautiful but one was the perfect blue. My jeweler could not see any imperfections at 10x and said it was nicely cut. We returned the other and Gemfix quickly refunded for it. This was a smooth process and I'm very thankful for Gemfix. This special sapphire will be part of my life forever.

I am finally leaving my review after holding onto this beauty for awhile as I researched how I wanted it designed. It was a gift for our 15 year wedding anniversary. I found this Montana sapphire through Gemfix last summer and it just spoke to me. Even though I live in San Diego I decided to have it mailed since the process was so easy. It was great to be able to hold onto it for several days before making a decision. The description was as accurate as can be, but seeing it in all the different lights up close is important, so it's really awesome that they do that. My correspondence with them was very pleasant & friendly as well. I love my new ring! The sapphire is beautiful and changes depending on the light.

First of all, if you are looking for a Montana Sapphire, you absolutely need to go to Gemfix! The quality of the stones are the best, the cuts are absolutely gorgeous, and the prices are fair.Setting up an appointment was easy, as Andrew and Laura were quick to respond and we were able to painlessly coordinate a meeting. I drove from Torrance, CA and arrived about 10min early. Andrew was already inside getting set up and he let me in. We chatted about what I was looking for in a stone, showed him my setting, and he pulled out several stones for me to look at. He was extremely gracious with his time and we chatted for almost 90 minutes before I finally decided on a stone. He made sure I looked at the stone under several different lighting scenarios and we even went next door to make sure the stone could be set into my ring.What I loved the most was that at no point did I feel like he was trying to sell me a stone. We just sat and talked and it just felt like we were two friends meeting over coffee, rather than two strangers who were in a business meeting. He gave me all the time I needed to fall in love with the stone.The bottom line is, if I ever build another piece of jewelry and I want to use colored stones, I will, without a doubt, be calling up Gemfix.
