Word cant express enough how much gorilla movers helped me. I had scheduled another mover and when they didnt show up I was frantic. Luckily I found gorilla movers website and called them. They were literally at my house within 2 hours and turned what was surely going to be an absolutely disastrous day into the most pleasant move Ive ever had. I normally try not to recommend companies but this one went the extra mile and saved me thousands of dollars

After having absolutely nightmarish experiences with two of their competitors, I was so pleased to have a perfectly executed move from Gorilla Movers.Olivia, who handled communication and billing, was so professional and easy to work with, and the three movers who showed up (Alex, Arthur, and one whose name unfortunately eludes me) were some of the friendliest people I've ever worked with and they did such an amazing job. Some of the furniture they moved has been in my family for over 100 years and is irreplaceable (and was very expensive: equivalent to $8000 per piece in today's money) and even without knowing this they were extremely careful with it. Nothing was damaged, which is rare for a move, and the entire process was finished about 15 minutes ahead of schedule despite them working on the hottest day of the month during a heatwave, on a Sunday, and carrying things up 3 flights of stairs. So, so impressive. Thank you for saving me at the last minute when the other two businesses that were a no call, no show almost cost me my job and an additional month's rent at my last place, which I simply wouldn't have been able to afford. If any or all four of you wants a drink on me sometime, you've got my number. I can't thank you enough.

Gorilla Movers completely saved me at the last minute. After another local moving company (which has 5 stars on Yelp and came highly recommended) simply didn't show up this weekend (nor did they even communicate this), I was scrambling to figure out a replacement. After I made repeated calls to the original company, they finally contacted Gorilla Movers and asked them to step in for them. Had this not happened, I would have been unable to go to work the next day and possibly lost my job (not to mention costing my company potentially millions of dollars).Olivia kept me posted on when I could expect them to arrive and was very professional and friendly, providing top tier service. Meanwhile, the movers (Alex, Arthur, and one other whose name eludes me) were some of the friendliest people I've ever met and did an amazing job. They took care to make sure my things stayed safe, arranged them exactly how I wanted, and worked quickly enough that they actually finished ahead of schedule -- despite working on the hottest day of the month and on a Sunday! Absolutely top notch service all around. I plan to make Gorilla my first and only stop for future moves within the area.

I'm really sorry I picked them to move us. Charges were added to the original bid. The biggest disappointment was multiple scratches in 3 different rooms to our hardwood floor. I submitted a claim with photos to their office and was completely ignored. I waited 3 months before submitting this review in hopes they would do the right thing. They have not responded. I would Not recommend them.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. We used them at the start of the move out of my mother's house, a big house with many generations who lived there so there was a lot of stuff. We gave them a tour of the part of the house that we had boxed up. An hour later we found one of the movers looking around in an area of the house that was nowhere near were he needed to be at the complete other end of the house. They seemed really nice and helpful so we shrugged it off. The next day, luckily one of our family members noticed a real gold clock that was missing (in the area of the house that we found one of the movers snooping in). We called and they found the clock in the "lost and found" and returned it (after we pressed heavily for them to do so). Now that we have moved in, I am missing a very important box of mine, it had an ipad, other expensive electronics, a wallet with a lot of gift cards in it, etc. This was one of the boxes we gave to Gorilla movers, I am pretty sure they stole it just like they tried to do with the clock. They completely took advantage of us being in a vulnerable position of trusting them to move our stuff.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Let me just explain a little of my nightmare to you... I went to stay with my parents in another state at the start of Covid. While I was there, my roommate decided she was going to rent a house with her boyfriend. I called Gorilla to see if they could move my stuff out of my apartment and into storage until I returned. No problem, they told me.. ha! So I schedule my appointment on a day my roommate is able to be there. She met the movers at my apartment within the 2 hour window - no problem. I only had one bedroom, a few boxes from the kitchen which my roommate had already packed, and a bathroom that they needed to pack and move into storage. They showed up and moved everything within about 40 minutes. I was told ahead of time that there was a 4 hour minimum and I was required to pay the 4 hours regardless of how long it took - understandable so I agreed. Well they packed everything and were gone for all of 2 minutes when my roommate noticed that they didn't pack the bathroom. We each called the mover to ask him to come back and pack it up. He called back within about 10-15 minutes and told me that he had already left and would not be able to come back because he had another home to get to. Um, I'm sorry.. I'm paying you for 4 hours.. you're still on my paid time... He was a complete a** to me and was just like "tough" and hung up. I called the office immediately to see if there was something they could do to fix it (our lease was up in 1 week, anything beyond that would cost me). They ignored my call for over 1 hour (during their business hours) and didn't call me back. Finally my mom said "F*** this" cause she was pissed & she called and they answered immediately. My guess is the mover called the office and told them, so they just ignored me so they didn't have to deal with it. My mom about lit her a** up and she told her there wasn't much they could do. I had to have someone else come over and pack and move my bathroom items. I paid 4 hours for 40 minutes of work and they didn't even get it right. They also didn't even offer to refund any of my money to make their mistake right.. or at least a little tiny bit better. So fast forward to when I go back to get my stuff... Gorilla told me to just call before I'm ready to pick it up to schedule an appointment. I did. They had my stuff stored at a Big Box location. They scheduled my appointment and gave me the address to pick it up. I show up at my appointment time to pick my stuff up, go to the office and give them my name and tell them I'm there for my appointment. "What appointment?" they ask. I told them I had Gorilla Movers move my items there and they told me to pick it up. He acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. I called the lady in the front office at Gorilla movers and she said she would call him. She called him and they suddenly figured out where my stuff was. So he takes me to my box. I asked if he had the key (I was told my stuff would be moved and stored in locked storage) and he said "nope". We get to my unit and it is completely unlocked. At this point I'm PISSED. I was promised 2 bedroom & some boxes to be moved & stored in locked storage. At this point I got 1 bedroom moved into unlocked storage. So I open my box & I can't even begin to explain to you what I see. It looks like they just tossed my boxes into the storage and left. Nothing is stacked appropriately, nothing organized, just all my valuables thrown into a storage unit like a 4 year old did it. Several of my items were damaged. They did nothing in a way that makes sense. My 1 crockpot was in a 24x18x24 box by itself. (PS, I paid for each box). I literally cried. I could not believe anyone would treat someones stuff like this or do such a horrible job at their one job. This really should not have been a hard move whatsoever & somehow they managed to screw the whole thing up from start to finish. I've never seen

Saw one of their employees (A man around 6'5") at Robeks earlier today, with a friend of his. He had no mask on and his friend had his mask down to his chin. Both of them were laughing about how "they can't get covid because they're over 6 feet tall". The man without a mask was wearing a Gorilla Movers shirt. Yikes.

Roy is an excellent mover. However, the administration side is a complete mess.We scheduled for a full move which included packing and moving of all items.Unfortunately, the team was not Adler to finish packing because of a tight deadline. I was told they would be back by 12pm the next day to finish packing then move. That did not happen.I had to finish the packing and make several follow up calls as to where the team was to move out things. Jen, the administrator kept giving me the run around. Stating they are on their way and they will finish packing once they arrive. After several more phone calls ahem tried to persuade me to reschedule our move to another date. Finally, she stated Gorilla Movers hire's another company to move . The other company arrived at 5.20pm (our move, which was scheduled a month in advance was to be at 12pm)The moving was finally finished at 11pm at night. In short, do not use Gorilla Movers. They are unreliable, unorganized, and not detailed.

Everyone from Jen who booked my appointment, to Roy & Bruce who did the heavy lifting were exceptional! Efficient, courteous, took direction for my nit picky perfectionism on placement and easy to get a hold of. I’d highly recommend Gorilla Movers!

I was charged for 3 men they sent three men; unfortunately only one actually worked. One of the men spent most of his time in the bathroom on his phone. The third guy walked around in a fog, he didn't even know how to take a bed frame apart. I'm sure they picked him up from the parking lot at Home Depot. I actually had to ask him to get to work several times. After 4 hours they announced that they had another job, stopped and left. They did not move a large rug, 3 chairs and 2 large boxes from up stairs. One of them boxed a lamp with the socket sticking out of the top of the box....needless to say I had to repack the lamp. They marred my walls and scratched my doors. One of the guy had no idea how to take a table off a pedestal he acted like had never held a tool before. I would have been better off grabbing several inexperienced homeless guys that needed a job. I called the office and asked for the men to come back and finish the job and the "office person" informed me she would have to charge me a fee for them to come back. She had her money and she didn't care. They should be out of business, This is not a real moving company, just taking advantage of people. I had to call a different company Craig movers and he helped me finish the job. He had to re-pack the pods besides get the remaining furniture out of my house. My mistake was not hiring Craig in the first place!!! GORILLA MOVERS IS A SCAM AND A JOKE DO NOT USE THEM TO MOVE YOUR TRASH TO THE CURB.

Horrible experience, movers were five hours late! After arriving they moved quickly but carelessly. My brand new tv was bent to hell in the process and the screen popped out! After calling to see what I could do they said they only insure $0.60 per pound and the tv weighs 30lbs... so $18 for a tv that cost almost $300. Complete rip off don't trust this company with the items you spent hard earned money on!

We did not have a great experience. Knowing that we have a lot of stuff, we requested that they preview our house prior to the day of the move. None of that information was shared with the actual movers. They were unable to get all of the items in a 10 hour timeframe. We still had to rent a uhaul and spend time moving it ourselves. They broke a new tv and mirror. Boxes were clearly labeled but not placed into the house, they were left in the garage. They did bring wardrobe boxes but they were old and breaking so all of our clothes were thrown into the bottom of the boxes getting them dirty and hard to retrieve from the boxes. I have a huge list of the inappropriate interactions/comments made by the movers but it is best to say they truly do not care about customer service or your valuables. I would not recommend this company to anyone no matter if it a reasonable quote.

My husband and I used their services 2 times. The first time was amazing. They got the job done quick and efficiently. We moved into a two story townhome and they moved all our belongings in perfect without any issues. Price was good too. The second time we moved it was a whole day and night experience. The movers were slow at loading up our stuff and unloading at our new place. Two of our belongings were broken, and the old location we moved from they damaged the walls and the floors on the steps. I was so upset with this experience. And above all we were only offered to be reimbursed $51 for over $600 in damages. I sadly probably won't want to use them again after this experience ...

We used Gorilla Movers to move my in-laws this last week. Three movers showed up, Al, Roy and Palo (hope I spelled the name correctly). They were friendly, curteous, and very helpful. They moved a 3500 sq foot house fast and efficiently. Items were handled with care and fully wrapped to avoid any damage. Although they went a little over on the original estimate it was OK as they did not let up the entire day and even with the small overage they were still cheaper than other comapnies we contacted. The guys worked hard the entire day. I would use them again without hesitation.
