I had the pleasure of visiting the East Village store 12/5/23. What a sweet and pleasant surprise to see how accommodating this employer was to a new mom. At first glance, her front pack was invisible, completely blending into her black shirt. From the side view, her precious infant's face was partly visible, contentedly sleeping and snuggling mom during the work shift. It was a very touching thing to see and made me smile the rest of the day. I remember how grueling it was in 1998, juggling daycare drop-offs and pick-ups, breastfeeding and pumping, while still trying to find enough energy to actually do my job at the office. Kudos to this EV store! It was incredibly uplifting to see some progress has been made in this regard over the last 25 years.?????

I can't wait to get the chance to meet the owner he seems like a really cool guy they have wonderfully amazing deals that you know you have to go that day and see what you get you never know but there's always you know two for a buck of something that would cost $10 out the door at Whole Foods you know you're getting something for the same quality product for 1/10 the price you can live on Social Security income having served your country honorably and healthy with nutritious meals if you shop at Grocery Outlet everyday

Incredible prices, so low it feels like it’s 10+ years ago. Good selection, area outside the store is a little sketchy at night but nothing compared to other cities.

I was pleasantly surprised to find some healthy vegan options here: unsweetened almond milk, quinoa pasta with 20gr protein per serving, RI e paper, organic olive oil... And very nice veggies! Way to go! The checkout was seamless and the cashier was really nice!

My go-to for good but inexpensive wines. They rotate their stock regularly so there’s lots to choose from. Four stars for its unfortunate location-lots of homeless and bad hygiene.

So these people know for a fact that their bicycle rack is not attached to the concrete pavement underneath it and bicycles, or anything else attached to their bike rack, can very easily be stolen, even though it has the appearance of being a safe solution to securing your personal device for mobility. And now in the same sentence. I was informed that the grocery cart rack outside in the parking lot is no longer of use because their carts no longer go outside. They do not have a camera on the bike rack that does not secure your bike they do have a camera on the grocery cart rack that will not hold grocery carts. And here’s the hilarious part. Do you want me to trust them to come back and get food from them. They are not trustworthy on the outside that makes them untrustworthy on the inside for me.And this is now a notice of liability for anyone who has their bike or mobility device stolen off of their bike rack that they had outside with no sign, saying that it is an insecure bike rack.Dear grocery outlet 92101. You are now liable for every single thing that is stolen from the bike rack that you still have outside of your store that is in disrepair and gives your patrons a fall security of security. You can avoid this liability by posting on your bike rack did this is not a bike rack and it is not secure.Your favorite neighborhood attorney

It's a great lil store. Good prices. New selections coming in near weekly. Fast and friendly cashiers. My only gripe is having to circle the entire store to get to the far right wall, where all the treats for excellent prices are. ? Tho, I get why they do it.

Great place to do groceries on the cheap, always happily surprised at final total when checking out.Not all items are cheaper than elsewhere and for some items they only have lesser known brands (albeit still of good quality most of the time), but overall their prices are pretty good.Often even the well known brands are cheaper in price and they'll have (semi-)bulk options.Only downside is that their assortment is always a gamble. Some (types of) items are never sold there and others are rotated in/out at high frequency (think, the same week).E.g. they can have ketchup on Monday and on Thursday all evidence they ever had ketchup to begin with is gone.If you can work around this and supplement with Albertsons two blocks east, then you can significantly lower your grocery costs. On average our total grocery costs about 1/3 of what we pay elsewhere.Pro-tip: Ask for the loyalty stamp card and get a stamp for each $30 you spend to save some extra.

This location has decent items. Parking can be tough due to it being by the gas lamp district. Staff is helpful and makes getting in and out fast.
