I go to this place for sonnys and I honestly hate going here. The worst place in SD to get sonnys they up charge them so much even the regular series. Its always the same man who rings me up and you can just tell he's tired of the sonny girlies going in there. I waited in line on a day that was not busy at all and he was so friendly to the man in front of me and made conversation but when I was ready to check out his whole demeanor changed and when I asked for a bag he said "No." at first I thought it was a joke and he was going to give me one but he was serious. This isn't the only time I had gone to this store to buy sonnys and even my friends noticed his rude demeanor just from one visit. It seems like theyre tired of the influx of customers. I reccomend Haha Fashion in MiraMesa theyre always so sweet there or even just buying them online directly.

Rude staff. Tall guy was rude/impatient and kept rushing me. They get their regular sonny angels and smiskis for retail and sell them for 2 dollars more. As for the limited sonny angels, they mark it up 5 to 8 dollars more. Even though they're authorized, it's a shame that they are taking advantage of our love for sonnys & the demand.

Almost 18$ for a sonny angel is so crazy... absolute rip off. I have gotten one for 10-15$ at other stores this place is just taxing

Gotta say it was a great experience. I drove an hour to get here for 2 HG kits. When I walked in I was immediately hit with a wave of excitement knowing I had found a place where people who share my enthusiasm for the craft definitely congregate. They have stock on kits that I can't find anywhere locally and the prices are great.Chill friendly staff. The one gent, who was working at the time, came right over to help me with my questions,I believe his name was Parker. You could tell he cared about the people who came into the storeOverall great initial experience will definitely be returning I highly recommend anyone into the gunpla make the trip out to this shop was well worth the drive for me!

It’s awesome to see a store dedicated to Gunpla in San Diego! They had an awesome selection of models ranging from High Grade to Perfect Grade. They also had a good assortment of Gunpla tools, stands, paints, and additional parts/accessories/decals! The person who rang me up was also very nice and pleasant!

Great experience, staff was very helpful. They talked me through the differences in products and advised me to spend less on smaller models because they had better assembly and details due to being newer products. I was very satisfied with the experience. I will definitely go back, especially since it's much closer to home than Japan is. ?

Hands down my favorite gunpla store in Southern California. They have so many kits you will have a hard time not walking out with more than you came for. They also carry tools and paints for gunpla and other bandai type model kits. They also have other goodies besides gundam

If you are a Gunpla (Gundam Model Kits) or any type of Japanese Model kit fan, this should be one of your first stops. They have a variety of model kits; new that just came onto the market, as well as older ones, hard to finds, and fan favorites. Was pleasantly surprised to find they sell and are well informed of the "God Hand" snippers that are considered the must have tool of any model kit builder where other hobby stores didn't even know what I was talking about. Great prices along with great staff. Doesn't fit too much with the area but what makes it a hidden gem and also a oasis stop for any anime/gundam fan who is with a tourist group in that area and can't find them something.

Excellent shopping experience with lots of model kits to choose from. Mostly gunpla but some others mixed in. The store isn't huge so you aren't going to be overwhelmed and the selection is a mix of classics and new stuff. We left satisfied with the model we were looking for and a godhand nipper to build with!

Super neat little spot in Old Town San Diego with a HUUUGE selection of Japanese model kits for those mecha and gundam fanatics. They offer a small selection of other Japanese toys from Bandai and such as well but the majority of the shop is dedicated to the model kit. So much so that it’s printed on the floors! They didn’t have what I was hoping for, which was soft vinyl figures but I know plenty of collectors who love assembling kits and this is the place to go to find something new to add to your collections.

They had a wide variety of gandam available. The prices were very reasonable. They also had some blind boxes available. They had some Smiski figures. You will probably have to park a few streets away and walk to the store.

Very cool shop has a lot of great things especially if you like anime. You're able to find tokidoki here and Gundam. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly parking is easy to find they have a huge parking lot up on a hill. All the prices of the items are very reasonable.
