“This is the best grocery store in San Diego and best natural food store I have been to in awhile. OB People’s Food Co-op is community owned since 1971 and is a vegetarian grocery store. I love the vibe here. All produce is organic with many local items along with some unique items. Bulk bins are solid. Bonus points for the all vegan Deli. I went with the People’s Rueben Sandwich. It came with tempeh bacon, sauerkraut, vegan smoked gouda cheese, and red russian dressing on rye bread. It was quite alright. Compostable produce bags. Affordable prices. What’s not to like? They are open daily from 8am to 9pm. Highly recommended!”

“I placed a pickup order here yesterday. After walking to the store, I felt pretty silly upon realizing that the app only offers a check-in for pickup orders by identifying your vehicle.
The store team was incredibly kind, helpful, and understanding! The wonderful woman (whose name I can’t recall) working checkout answered my question by quickly directing me to a nearby teammate (I think his name is Ace? perhaps something that rhymes?) who looped in a teammate who appeared to be management. This (person who definitely has the energy of a) manager seamlessly figured out a workaround for me - keeping in mind that Ace(?) remained with me while Manager was quickly bringing my groceries to me so there wasn’t ever a single moment where I able to wonder if I’d been forgotten. This thoughtful manager then helped me to transfer my order from the provided Sprouts bags into my own reusable totes, all while making small chat with me about our rival SEC schools.
The entire process from walking in to leaving took a maximum of 5 minutes. Incredibly efficient handling of what had the potential to be a pretty embarrassing user error on my part.
I did an awful job of catching and remembering names, but this team deserves their flowers.

“Nice selection of salads and I found a great frozen meal, Eggplant Parmesan. The place was very busy you could tell the emplyees worked for their money, many were running around filling shopping bags for online orders I assume. Definately not the Trader Joe's vibe of chill and super attentive employees. A botyle of Gerolsteiner Mineralwater was $3 something, at Trader Joe's it's $2.45. I went in the afternoon maybe if you go earlier it'll be less busy. Clean store nice frozen meals, but pricey.”
“Please change your hours. waiting to open till 8 AM everyday and 9 AM on Sundays to open is ridiculous. A lot of people need access to food well before this time of the morning especially weekends”
“I am sooo in loooove with this location!! Sprouts always has it going on! Love their deals, fresh selections, vitamin department, and employees.
My most favorite of all is Robin in the vitamin department!! She’s so friendly, sweet, knowledgeable, and always has great recommendations! I literally feel like my health has improved since the day I walked into this Sprouts about 2 years ago and met her. I told her what I felt like I was lacking in my supplemental diet and she helped me find some really amazing products that have changed my life!! Robin, I hope you get to see this!! You always treat me like a million bucks and put a big smile on my face ? THANK YOU!! ??? Keep on rockin’! (haha ???)”
“Good collection of veggies and fruits. Rotisserie chicken and sandwich are nice offerings. The sandwiches are a hit or miss based on how it is made, would recommend to be there when it is being made.”
“This is a fantastic, family owned company. Similar to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods Markets, Sprouts focuses on local sources, the freshest produce, dairy and meat. They also have a popular deli to get handmade sandwiches. Ironically one of the ingredients NOT available for sandwiches is SPROUTS!”

“What a charming little shop, with a super friendly and lovely young lady working there. This cute shop has a great variety of essential oils, organic dried herbs, crystals, and even a great book selection on herbs and nutrition. They also have a nice variety of herbal and CBD infused chocolate bars. Worth visiting!”
