Visited this venue for a modern jukebox concert. It was outdoor seating on a rainy day but so glad I made it . They honored their "rain or shine" disclaimer. There was limited Parking offered for cash only visitors and plenty of free nearby street parking . Although it was a chilly wet night the hosts assisted the attendees to find seating quickly and offer to wipe down seats, as well as provide ponchos . They offered snacks and drinks. The concert was one of a kind . The organization of the venue definitely helped with the overall experience .

Very cool venue and atmosphere. But the low volume and having to cut through the concessions line to get to the bathroom sucked. Not enough bars to get a drink.

We were so happy with everything, from the parking to the security check in, to finding our seats. Everything just went smoothly, we were in the 2nd row, so we had good seats too.

Always enjoy shows at Humphreys. The downsides are the tight seats, especially if a patron of size sits in the same row, and the security staff occasionally on power trips. Balance that out with an easy commute from Point Loma to the venue and, gasp!, free parking and it's a four out of five star experience. Live music is typically playing after the show on weekend nights at Humphreys Backstage. Luck's in store if you're in the mood to par-tay even later. Unfortunately the security staff demand that no drinks are allowed on the dance floor at that venue. Always caveats with any experience at Humphreys.

This is such a cool venue. Really small and intimate, you can stand anywhere and get a good view of the stage. Sound was incredible for such a small location. We went to a standing only concert so they had no seating at all but it was still fun and enjoyable.

First time at Humphrey's for The Teskey Brothers, and it was beautiful.Great venue, parking was very easy ( which is not usually the case in San Diego), and the entrance was very well organized and quick access to inside the venue.Drinks were normal priced, staff very friendly, and we ( my wife and I) had an absolutely great time! The fake grass ( lawn area) was well taken care of, and the stage was very easy to see from anywhere you wanted to stand. The sound was superb, and the show was unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back.

What a perfect outdoor venue! It's intimate with great seating everywhere. Great sound and there's not a bad seat in the house. There's a large bar with service available. It's located on Shelter Island in San Diego on the Humphreys Half Moon Inn property. Parking is close and is very reasonable. It was one of the best concerts I've been to!

Great place to see a concert. Line-up is very good every year. The lights and boats on the bay make it a wonderful place. If you are tall, sit near or on the aisle. Chairs are very small and there is no leg room. Would give 5 stars, but for the seating

We had a wonderful time at the Three Dog Night Concert. There was plenty of assistance to help us to our seats and the venue itself was well laid out. The only reason it wasn't a five star review was the small folding chairs provided for seats

Intimate, beautiful outdoor live music venue on the shore of San Diego Bay with amazing views of the hillside lights of Point Loma. Excellent sound and stage lighting provided a great concert experience. We saw Yacht Rock Revue play a fantastic show to a sold out house of about 1400 patrons. The weather was typical San Diego perfect all evening, of course. Note that the venue runs rain or shine and does not allow umbrellas. That said, you can likely expect 70 degrees and zero chance of rain, year round, in this beautiful Mediterranean climate.Parking was convenient and ample in the venue vicinity. You can snag free parking across the street in the public bay parking lots if you get there early enough. I’d recommend 2 hours early, if possible, to easily find a free parking spot. Otherwise, the venue has some on-premise parking for $25 with spots literally steps away from the venue entrance. Doors opened 1 hour prior to the concert start time. While we had a fantastic and memorable evening, I had to knock 1 star off my rating due to the extremely tight seat spacing and uncomfortable, cheap, folding plastic chairs. The venue made an obvious effort to cram as many people into its small footprint which made it nearly impossible to move your arms and legs. The spacing between rows was absurd! The entire row practically had to exit the row just to allow anyone to pass through to their seat or visit to the bar or restroom.Oh, and prepare for $30 mixed drinks. On the bright side, there were roaming drink serves who walked the floor aisles. The venue also sold hot dogs and popcorn at the bar area. I’m sure they could up their game on the food front, but that’s not why we were there. All in all, this venue could easily be one of the best if it fixed its seating situation. Simply raise the ticket fee a few dollars and eliminate 400 seats. The experience would be elevated to the highest level.
