I really liked the hotel and would come back. There are a few things I didn't like as well. What I liked:Everything looked clean and modern.Easy to book the room. The pool is nice and the perfect temperature. They have games by the pool and bathrooms right next to it. Lots of lounge areas by the pool. They have a couple nice restaurants inside the hotel that offer room service or pickup. The tip is included already when you order the room service. They have a little shop you can get some food, wine, ice cream, even some Starbucks, water, a few healthy foods like bananas, apples, oranges. What I didn't like:The shower door is one of those terrible half doors you watch water fall out onto the floor and freeze your buns because it's just a half door. Please change that noooowwww.Still have those ooolllddd phones that do not work good. I tried to dial housekeeping 10 times the button doesn't work just beeps. The fridge is sooo small good luck getting your room service food in those things. No microwave in room. Major fail. The windows open. It really scares me because I have a child and she started messing with it opening it up and thankfully she's old enough to know better but other kids younger....too dangerous. They have signs that they have a tracker in the towels so if you don't return the towel they will charge you. Like really??? Trackers in the towels? Sounds really tacky. To be enjoying your vacation and then to see a sign like that..weird. You can't just have a normal please return your towels sign? Are people stealing the towels around here? And they have a ton of cameras everywhere so is there crime happening at this hotel? My daughter and I were laying down and a housekeeper walked right in. She didn't say housekeeping or anything and as we looked over to her all she said was what time would we like her to come and then she called out some times. Definitely make sure you put that "presently occupied" sign on your door or a housekeeper will walk right in.

I stayed here back in Nov 2023 and loved the hotel, however the AC in my room did not work. I let the hotel manager know and maintenance was sent to fix the problem, they came and tried to fix it, but couldn’t. The hotel staff was great at the time and I thought it was just an unlucky occurrence. I checked in yesterday and was provided a room, however the AC did not work, I contacted the front desk and they sent maintenance up to fix it. He came and worked on it for an hour and let us know there was nothing he could do so we let the front desk know and they changed our room. We got to the new room and the AC still did not work. I am very disappointed as I was here celebrating a birthday. So after having three different hotel rooms at this hotel, I can confidently say that the hotel AC in the rooms is false advertisement and do not recommend staying if you would like AC in your room. I let the front desk know the following morning and they were unwilling to comp any part of the rate or provide any concession. I am very disappointed in the stay and will not return.

We were at this Hyatt partially for a conference and partially for fun. The room was spotless and very, very comfy. We had contact with a few staff members and each of them were so helpful and polite. Our experience at the Drift restaurant was also really good-- our waitress was very friendly and the food SO good. La Jolla Shores Beach and Mission Beach are an easy drive away. Lots of really good restaurants are also just a short drive (recommend Puesto and Duke's). The shopping nearby was a little more upscale than I was looking for, but Old Town San Diego and Liberty Public Market were not too far-- maybe 20 minutes. We had an absolutely great stay and I would very definitely stay here again. My only suggestion would be to include a detailed map on where the parking garage is-- its easy to get to it from the hotel, but coming back I drove round and round AND round! Even with GPS it is unclear.

Really Enjoyed my stay here . Nicole at the front desk was welcoming and helpful . The grounds were big enough to take a nice and relaxing walk without leaving the property . There is a wework directly across in case one needs to get some work done . The best part is the hotel is only a few miles to the beach . Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The hotel is very pleasant. The staff is very helpful. The only problem was the pet that was staying in front of our room. During the night, any step in the hallway, he barked, and in the morning, he barked for more than an hour until the staff contacted the owner. Unfortunately, my plan to sleep in failed. Wouldn't it be viable to have a floor, especially for pets, or is the preference not for humans to rest over pets? ?...They are beautiful, charming, but...

This hotel is a3 star hotel at best and did not live up to a good hotel. You can tell operations is not a strong suit of this hotel. Our VIP suite was not ready at 4:45 pm when we arrived for our 4pm check in. We paid full price. We had to wait 2 hours with 2 young kids to get into the room. We were offered a free dinner - but that restaurant too was terrible. Terrible service, food and drinks. The room service is served in a bag and handed off like its uber eats - this place is not operating well and it's very clear there are many operational flaws. We didn't want dinner - or free stuff. We wanted our room ready so we could go on about our plans. Many other people were waiting for rooms at 6pm as well in the lobby. It's clear operationally this place needs a lot of work. The front staff waste even surprised - they said "yeah its a silly policy that they allow people to stay in the VIP suites until 4 with guests coming" So they already know this issue is a re-occuring one, an operational flaw. Clearly the high ups aren't operating this hotel well. The suite was big -but outdated. Bed was hard. Tub was nice.

I usually like staying at Hyatt but this one in particular was not a great stay. Their beds are extremely soft n I ended up hurting my neck and shoulder. I do use medium firm beds and am usually okay with hotel beds. This one seemed to have very old n very soft. Because of this reason alone, I'd not stay here again as a good night sleep is critical. My shoulder pain last for over a week.Rooms: I did not like the beds. Very soft, endeded to in neck n shoulder pain.
