Service was exemplary. They offer you a timeshare presentation but will take no for an answer. No request was too small and was immediately fulfilled. The staff was a joy. Our room 507, was large and beautifully decorated. I love the history of the building and highly recommend it. The only small complaint is that the building being old means the sound of your neighbors can bleed through a little bit.Rooms: Large. Great bed. Shower hot, but pressure low.Walkability: Across the Road from Balboa Park and walking distance to many great restaurants. Also for convenience there is a 7-Eleven across the street

Me and my fiance are owners of world mark. We didn't have any other option on which world mark we could stay in all of California by any area we had plans to visit. So that being said this was a huge plus to be able to stay here on our credits. Room was really big kitchen was very nice. Bathroom was amazing. Lots of storage closets. We loved our stay. We all were very comfortable in our beds. Everything was very clean. I'd recommend this to any family or couple that wants a solid large quiet private stay. Only downside was no parking anywhere. Valet made it easy though and took away all rhe time needing to find parking for a small 24 dollar fee per day. I would give it 5 stars if it offered more than just a room key though. But all in all was an amazing historical hotel that is perfect for any stay short or long. Ty inn at the park for the beautiful stay we had.

The staff was great, the room was what we needed and expected, but I had a bad experience the first night in the room which made the rest of the stay uncomfortable. Amazing views from the roof top. If you are into paranormal this is the place to stay.Nearby activities: Balboa Park across the street and less than 10 minute drive to the zoo, a number of museums. 15 minutes away from the marina. Pretty much central to any where you would like to go.Safety: A lot of homeless by the fastrip and at the park.Food & drinks: Numerous restaurants walking distance on 5th street and a Fastrip across the street which was very convenient.

I'd have gave them all 5 stars if their billing system didn't mess up the final impression of the service. Please make sure to ask for your statement before leaving the hotel, which has never been a concern before this trip. Otherwise, you may be surprised by a charge that they should not make. They don't credit it back after contacted them directly more than once. With that said, all the people we met at the front desk and concierge area during our stay were super friendly and very professional!PS, the 855 number is a joke. It is always busy!

Built in 1927. So you have the old styles of rooms with modern upgrades. The rooms are nice size, with galley style kitchen with table and chairs, walk-in closet, large bathroom, TV, wifi, in house dvd selection, and valet parking. Staff always happy to see you. You are right next to a large park with lots of things to do. It is a very nice place.

Very discriminatory about who they allow into their presentations. Will not associate with this timeshare company. Lots of fake shmoozing from staff.

Located between Bankers Hill and Hillcrest area across from Balboa Park. Location was not bad. The route to downtown was a straight shot down 6th Street. 5 minute drive or about 40 minute walk. We did both. Local eateries available in the immediate area. This location was super convenient because of the weather. It rained cats and dogs and all the flooding ended in the downtown area. The hotel sits in an elevated part of town so that worked out great for us. Rooms were as described, they were nice. It's a very old building and you can tell that huge efforts have been made to keep it updated . The service was spectacular, everyone made us feel at home. I wish the service was like this at all hotels. We enjoyed our stay very much with every amenity met. Some free parking available on the street but valet was also available and reasonably priced for a metropolitan city. Check in was easy. Gave our name, showed our id and a CC then made our way to the concierge. Downside was no pool and no indoor restaurant. I will give em an E for effort and an A for Almost trying to make up for no pool with daily special events. They really did provide great service though. There is a very nice patio area on the top floor, that offers a great view of the city. Great for hanging out. Another downside was a funky odor we picked up on arrival. The smell was a musky seawater smell. I'm not sure if it cleared up or we went nose blind but it was there on the first day. All in all we would definitely be back. We had a good stay.
