Kevin and his team did an excellent job on my father’s 1979 Camaro. They did a transmission repair and brake repair. Kevin and his team are very professional and I would recommend them to help repair older vehicles.

I really don’t know anything about car issues and this is the first time that I had a car trouble. I was about to bring it to the dealer and luckily the guy who towed my car recommend to bring it to J and S transmission or else I have to pay more for the repair at the dealer. I met Kevin and he’s the best. He explains everything to me and made sure that I am aware of what to come next. From the day 1 that they have my car till the day the it was repaired and ready to pick up, Kevin has been reassuring me that they will do their best to fix my car and get it done asap. I can’t than them enough.

I was having transmission problems in my 2015 Nissan Sentra. I was looking for a mechanic to rebuild or buy a new transmission I was having no luck. Until a friend of mine told me about j&s transmission on Main Street I reached out to Kevin the mechanic, just talking to him first time convince me to go there he did the work on my transmission. Car is running awesome even better than when I first bought it I would highly recommend him for any mechanical problems to your car.

Very Satisfied with the service I received at J&S Transmission, Kevin assured me each step of the way as I’ve never been through anything like this before, I received assurance, communication and a fair price for the damage my transmission had. Not only that but I brought up a separate issue of my front bumper coming down and one of his workers was nice enough to help keep it in place with a few screws and zip ties. Something they definitely didn’t need to do. ( prolonging me from getting it replaced at a body shop which I’m trying to avoid right now ).. 10/10 I would recommend.

The clutch blew out while on the freeway. I took my car there and was able to get it fixed during the holidays.

Really good service. I am very pleased with them resolving both issues with my car. They were quick to diagnose the issue and fix. Their prices are also very reasonable. I will come again to get my car serviced as well as recommend them to people I know.

Best transmission shop by far! The price was reasonable and competitive. The best thing about this shop is that, being a tow truck owner, they knew it was important for me to get back on the road. They got me right away, diagnosed, disassembled, rebuild assembled and keys back in my hands in less then a week. I will definitely use them in the future and refer all my friends and family. Worseeeee place I have ever taken my car to, they don't know how to do there job right! At all! Probably not verified at all, went in for a gas pump replacement 8 months ago spent over 900 or more. First time I drove it smelled like gas still. Took it for the second time same thing. Took it for the last time and didn't really smell like gas no more. 8 months later I'm having the same problem. Went to the Chevy dealer just so they can tell me you guys did a horrific job in my car. Not to mention J and S even took weeks to fix it, no updates or nothing. They would get annoyed just because I would ask for updates. If you are reading this and plan on getting stuff done to your car, DONTTTTTTT! They will not fix it and take weeks to give it back. I'm glad Chevy is taking care of it now. It's a bit more pricey but it's worth it.
