I just order a couple of items from living spaces. When we weee at the store and paid for the furniture that we ordered, it was not mentioned to us that the free delivery does not include assembling the furnitures for us. When the time came for the delivery we were surprised that they just left everything in our doorsteps. That's when it was explained to me by the delivery company that we did not pay for the full service! So I tried to call the number showing on the internet for living spaces! And it was a surprise again because it's not the store number but a separate corporate number that I was able to get hold of. I was trying to plead my case about what happened to no avail! All they said was I didn't avail for the full service. But I already explained to them that we never got that information at the store, and if only we got that we would have paid or avail the program! But what I said we never got that information. Now we are here with all the boxes, no furniture no dinning table to eat in, plus we are going to have visitors that will not have any furniture to sit on! Also I tried asking the person that I was talking to if I can't talk to a supervisor, but all he said is that they are busy! That alone is very poor customer service! All they are concerned about is for our businesses without putting into consideration the customer! I even ask of they can call or contact me when ever possible , but the answer is their busy!!!!!!! Very very very very poooooooor customer service! BBB should investigate this business practices that these companies are doing! Blind advertisement to gain customers!!!!!!!!!

Never shop here! We bought a sectional and ottoman and it came totally damaged and they refused to take it back. There are holes, tears, and stains on it and they refused, saying they will try to repair the damage?? Seriously, I just paid over $3500 and you want to force me to keep it??!! Additionally, the furniture has a very strong chemical smell that's making us sick! Calling customer service is a nightmare. Emailed with Melisa Nguyen who said she ordered one piece, when all pieces are damaged. She clearly didn't listen to even look at our pictures that we sent. It's like no one cares or even tries to help. We will be contacting an attorney if it's not resolved in 24 hours. This place needs to go away, forever!

I'm not sure why I didn't write this review years ago. Probably because I hate wasting time being negative and never ever leave reviews, positive or negative. That should be enough to get the picture, but I'll continue. My wife and I purchased outdoor end tables for our patio a few years ago from Living Spaces. Within 2 months, they turned yellow and started to crack, strip, and wear off. We contacted Living Spaces, and they quoted something like a 7-day return window and told us there was nothing they could do. This was not a return; it was a faulty and horrible piece of furniture, yet they wanted to quote their *RETURN* policy. Returns, as you know, are for when you decide you don't want or need something. We wanted these end tables, but unfortunately, they were poorly made pieces of excrement, which left chipped material all over our yard and turned into an eyesore almost as quick as our 250 American dollars would turn to ash if we threw them in our fireplace. A fireplace we barely use because we live in THE MOST MODERATE CLIMATE IN THE UNITED STATES. Yet, somehow 72 and sunny San Diego made waste to these end tables in less than one spring season. I've had loaves of bread last longer than these landfill specials. Here's the kicker. We had previously purchased two desks from Living Spaces, and as I type this review, I look down to see multiple exposed pieces where the finish has chipped and is exposed right in the middle of the desk. I don't work from home and use this desk a few hours a week. Find another store to get furniture from; I wish we looked to see the 2-star review before being scammed by this embarrassment of a company.

BUYER BEWARE. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. LYING SALES REPS. We explained to the sales rep theres a hand rail you have to go over at our front door and she said it would be okay. First the delivery guys dragged the couch from the stairs to the front door. The delivery guys didnt even try to lift it up and get it through the door. They attempted to fit the couch vertically through the door. They succeeded at getting couch wedged in the door. It already looked damaged at this point. After that genius idea didn't work they lifted the couch so that we could see that it would fit perfectly as they already had it on the handrail. We asked them to simply walk it in and they refused. They took pictures of couch horribly wedged and just claimed they would lose their job walking it in. The delivery drivers were rude and we don't even want to deal with them again. They claimed the couch too wide, "depth" he called it. We've fit the same size couch in and out before. We were essentially scammed into getting a credit card as we were never told it was a credit card and now have to pay restocking and delivery fee. Get real delivery service if you want furniture from Living Spaces. Even better just don't shop at Living Spaces. Customer service did absolutely nothing to remedy our situation. How fun not to have a couch now. Worst buying experience of my life.

I am giving them a One Star because you cannot give them a ZERO! They gave me a defective Recliner and I decided to return it for a Full Refund. I set up the Pick-up and they didnt Show Up. I called back telling them I was leaving town for two weeks and they assured me they would pick it up the next day. Now I am told their truck broke down and they cant pick it up. for 3 days which I will be out of town for two weeks and they will not issue the Refund Until it is picked up. I ask to talk to a Manager and the Manager cannot give me any number for the Store or Corporate. The only one I could talk to is someone that has no Authority. Their Customer service SUCKS and there is no one that can help you except a Clerk at the only phone number the Corporation has.

DO NOT trust these people to fulfill the warranty on your items. They are in the selling business not fixing. Even with an extended warranty... a 5 YEAR warranty.. when you fill out your claim (within the 5 years mind you) BUT you choose a time longer than 30 days to REPORT it... they dont fulfill the claim..

Yall, we had a great experience here. I know the reviews are rough, but we got a full dining set AND a sofa/love seat set (custom) and omg.... They're gorgeous and I couldn't be happier. We have not had to use the replace or guarantee policy, but the customer service on site, the delivery and our overall experience was great. I'd say almost everyone we know has purchased SOME part of their home furniture from here and all have been very happy. Better prices than all the other SD furniture stores (not including online), outstanding selection, easy & knowledgeable staff... it's worth a try!

The sofa I purchased was and still is as hard as a rock. The fabric is thin and looks cheap. I have a congenital back disease and this sofa is creating more pain. I spoke to a woman, Audrey, who is part of corporate. She was not interested in resolving this problem. She merely continued to follow her script. I'm going to continue to seek help through the 2 employees whom helped me with my conundrum. Their names are Damon and Kevin. I'm sure they are capable of assisting me with the erroneous policy that I had to pay extra for in order to safeguard my purchase. I hope to hear from both of you gentlemen. Thank you, Annie

Great experience! Happy with how pleasant the staff here was. I can say takes some time to be welcomed. Great prices & good experience with purchasing so far. I'll update if anything goes wrong with delivery but is great! Huge selection!!! Like tons & tons of items in store to see & everything I wanted was in stock except 1 thing!! Let em say we got our whole house furnished in one visit. Very pleased.

Be very careful of this company, and do not buy the Carefree plan. We submitted a claim for furniture that we tried to clean and they refused to honor the claim because we tried to clean the furniture ourselves. Yet there was nothing in the documentation that said, you cannot clean the furniture yourself. The fabric color bled into the white and now we have damaged furniture. Their carefree plan is administrated by another company and you can't even get a hold of them easily. Be very careful of their products if they can't be cleaned with a regular off the shelf cleaner.

Horrible customer service with even worse product quality. I spent over $1000 buying a bed frame and sofa from this company and had it delivered to my home. From day 1, the sofa came damaged. The delivery guys said I would have to contact customer service and that they couldn't do anything. I filed a claim with customer service and the service guys never showed, no one responded to my follow up email and nothing was done. The bed frame also came damaged and the wooden planks supporting the mattress are also too small to be actually supporting any mattress. The bed has now completely broken and customer service is not willing to help me at all. They have all been extremely rude and passive aggressive and I really don't appreciate that especially after spending so much to ensure issues like this don't take place to begin with. I'm extremely disappointed

Ya'll LOOK AT THE REVIEWS! I wish I did! You will get THE worst customer service.The sales people on the floor are friendly but they hide information from you, or overstate their services. They outsource EVERYTHING, from delivery (expected) to even their customer care (it's India). The delivery people know they can get away with poor service, it seems like Living Spaces doesn't hold them accountable. We bought a bed frame from them and the delivery people gave me a hard time about the haul away of my old bed frame (The sales person said they would and upsold me on some sort of $100 extra fee for haul away and setup even when I was like I can setup myself, and they were like "but it includes haul away"), but surprise when they showed up they were like, we don't take that (Haul away is only if you buy a mattress from them) and they acted like they were doing me a favor to setup the bed. Literally said "i'll do you a favor and set this up". It was like he was fishing for a tip. We had a second delivery for another item scheduled the next day, and the second time the delivery people claimed they were here and tried to reach us, and they didn't. But shocker they were able to reach me to let me know we missed the delivery and would charge me. SUS! When you call the customer care, they actually don't care what evidence you have, they just go with what the delivery driver said. When we asked for a full refund, the customer care said they don't do that and would charge us for re-stocking. DO NOT GET ANYTHING DELIVERED OR HAULED AWAY FROM LIVING SPACES. IT'S A SCAM. Matter of fact, just don't shop there at all, there are a TON of other furniture options out there that don't have 2 star ratings.
