While visiting from out of state we had a family emergency back home and needed to do some paperwork. Jason was more than wonderful and did everything he could to make it easy for us. There truly are kind people in this world. Thank you Jason!

Do not come here for fingerprinting. I needed ink fingerprints for a national background check and had a hard time finding a place. This place was empty from the time I walked in to the time I left. The women helping me was clearly annoyed she had to stop braiding her child's hair and help me. She made it very obvious she was not happy to help and she screwed up the finger printing 5 times before she just gave up and told me they were fine. They were not, because today- 3 weeks and $70 later (that's right I had to pay not only this place $35 but also the company that has now rejected my prints) I was notified that my prints weren't good quality and it needs to be redone. I'm super pissed because this has wasted so much time and money all because she didn't know how to collect fingerprints correctly. If you can't do a service DON'T OFFER IT! Also can do without the attitude.

Jason was so helpful! He went above and beyond packaging 3 huge boxes of a computer and monitors for a return from a previous employer. I needed extra stuffing in the boxes and he made sure they were secure. Thank you!

Recently called and the gentlemen I spoke to made it seem as if I was an inconvenience when I had a simple question.

$70 to package a laptop computer and two monitors! What a rip off! If I didn't think the company I worked for wouldn't reimburse me for this outrageous fee, I would never pay it. Price gouging at its worst. The owner said they have package it using "bubble wrap" as if bubble is an expensive commodity. I won't give any more business to Mail Boxes Etc. unless I have to. Disappointing.

I do not have family in the Shelter Island/Point Loma area for help in emergencies with timely business matters. I do not own a printer or have the knowledge to do any of the things Mailboxes Express - ME, can get down and with quick and friendly atmosphere too. The first day I walked into this business, Mailboxes Express (Rosecrans, San Diego, CA) and saw the entire quaint sized business crowded and a good size wait was ahead of me I thought. Nope! Turns out that most of the customers were locals and chatting but when I asked a question since it was my first time, more than one customer offered their assistance offering me several answers and boy were they genuine and "real" in their nature. Before I knew it I was at the counter and surprised that the man knew what I needed without answering a bunch of questions. Faxing, printing, passports and Live Scan too. I also see they offer Mailboxes obviously as well. Oh and a pretty good size area of office supplies, copy machines with work counters. My favorite so far is the beach decals, post cards and fashionable, really modern, greeting cards found in a few areas on spinning displays. (La Presa Mexican food is located right next door in the corner) FYI so truly a daily double all right!! Thanks Jason Et al.

My experience at Mail Boxes Express (previously Mail Boxes Etc.) has been fantastic. I've been a regular customer of Mir's ever since he bought the place over a decade ago. His professionalism, commitment to excellence and wonderful caring personality is second to none. An example of his caring personality: Mir will do his level best to figure out why my packages haven’t arrived at their scheduled destination even if it means dialing up customer service at FedEx or UPS and giving me the update.Additionally, during the Covid pandemic, he and his staff have done everything possible to keep customers comfortable. Things like airing out the store, wearing masks, have limited number of people in the store at any time, readily available hand sanitizer are staples of their care and diligence. He really is the best.

Great staff... Mir and Jason are great, as well as the other staff. They always say hello with a smile and know your name. I've been going here for about 20 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. They are happy to grab the mail for me when I forget my key. I have rental tenants drop off rent checks with the staff and they put it in my box. If I am waiting for a special package or envelope, I can call and they will check if it's arrived. I use them for leaving my book keeper quarterly packages so they can come pick it up. They are really like a mini-office for me! Superb service... highly recommend!

This is not meant to be a negative reflection on the dogs or the rescue. I applaud and respect this rescue for being 100% volunteers, but want to show my experience and frustration. My husband and I recently got married, he has been stationed in San Diego for almost a year (he's in the military) and I stayed in Jersey to finish another year of college and to plan our wedding. In Jersey I was extremely busy with working as a manager at a popular breakfast place, a waitress at a pub, a full time student and I had my cosmetology license. Moving to California has been extremely difficult; leaving my friends, family, my childhood dogs (2 miniature schnauzers who are both 8), my jobs, my college campus and my cosmology license (different states have different requirements). My husband and I both love dogs and talked about getting once since we were engaged! We did research and only saw positive reviews about "the rescue dog" so we decided to look and we found the perfect dog. Buccaneer; a 4 month old beagle with a missing eye, and in his information section states he's friendly with dogs, cats and children, loved to cuddle and play and old bays when the foster cat ignores him. We both felt an instant connection and decided to fill out the adoption application. In the application we state that we live in an apartment but since I do not work buccaneer would never be alone. Another question was if they would be able to do a home check, we said of course! They asked for a reference and our person email and phone number, we obliged! They even asked that if buccaneer was adopted before us if we would look at their other dogs, we said of course. after the application was finished it said wait up to 24 hours for a call or email or call them. 24 hours pass and no call or email so my husband and I call them. No response so we leave a voicemail. A few hours later we try again. Nothing. The next day while my husband is at work I try twice more. Nothing. My sister (who was my reference) said she also never got a call, strange. During this whole time they were posting on their Facebook and Instagram about dogs who got adopted and other updates. My husband and I decide to message them on Facebook and Instagram because we are worried that maybe our application didn't go through or something was wrong with it (since they were adopting dogs out and posting about them and it's been over 48 hours). We finally got an email back asking what we would do if my husband is deployed with buccaneer. Reasonable question! We state that I will be here when my husband is gone and we plan of making buccaneer a part of our family forever so when we move he will come with us. Send email. The next night we get another email asking if we ever had a beagle before, we responded that no we never personally had a beagle before but I used to frequently dog sit for my neighbors beagle and I had 2 miniature schnauzers growing up (1 being a rescue) and my husband had 2 chocolate labs. Email sent. Now my husband and I are feeling confident because if there was any problem with anything on our application they wouldn't be corresponding with us, right? Last night we got an email stating our application for buccaneer was denied because we don't have "breed knowledge" and we live in an apartment. I totally understand the rescue is doing their best for the dog and I respect that but we already stated that we never had a beagle and we lived in an apartment on our application we submitted Thursday and now Monday night after emailing back and forth for the last few days it's now a problem. I felt like we were getting dragged along, they should have stated right away that it wasn't going to happen since we live in an apartment. Not give us a false sense of hope. What I thought was also weird was they never called my reference still, even though we would still want to adopt a dog from them!! Like I said I don't want this review to impact the rescue negativity but I am beyond upse

I am so happy to have found TRD as they helped me adopt my little pug Babs. I had searched, searched and applied for numerous dogs before I came across Babs. TRD was proactive in their communication and was very helpful through the process. Thank you so much to Babs' foster family, Dani, Ashley and the staff at TRD!
