The cashier was very friendly & helpful! He even hooked me up with a scratcher that saved me an extra 10% on top of my already 15% that I had saved! I'll be going back for there sure!

Carey write reviews but felt like I needed to.I went to this MCX about a week ago with my mother.We always come here with no issues and all the employees are typically nice.HOWEVER my mom pointed out that there was a lady that kept looking at us with a nasty look while we waited in line.We unfortunately but ironically had to get attended bye her. Immediately she ask for photo ID AND debit card with the same name as on the ID.I was confused because never in the last 9 years ive beens asked that.I comply and she looks at them looks back at me and rolls her eyes.I get caught off guard as my mother and I quite literally did nothing to this lady.My mom say that she is the one paying for the stuff though as she shopped for herself and the lady said not possible and she won't accept the card if its not mine.My mom isn't a confrontational type so she said to give her a minute while she transfers the money to me.This lady starts tapping her foot as if she didn't cause the problem.I get a little frustrated and kinda jokingly tell her if this a new policy that I haven't heard about maybe?Again she rolls her eyes at me and says sarcastically "No lady this has been here as long as the navy has yeah yeah catch up." Now I work customer service in retail and trust me I understand having a bad day or customer but I won't go out of my way to bluntly be nasty to someone so I just couldn't understand her rude and irritability towards us.So I just kinda stare at her and just decided not to say anything.If its true what she says, why hasn't anyone ever ask to see the debit card we will be using alongside the MID???Ive been to the MCX and in store base in Cali, Japan,Hawaii and Jacksonville NC and they NEVER asked that so I feel my confusion is valid.You would think at some point this would happen to me but not until here, when I finished paying she didn't even hand me the bag or receipt she just let it fall towards me.At this point my anger was bad to say the less but my mom told me to let it go as we still had to wait for my dad.As we were waiting for my dad we saw that the same lady changed her whole attitude with other customers and NEVER asked to see their debit/credit cards with the ID they'll be using.I was shocked and told my mom and she said the lady might just be racist and I do kinda believe her now.My dad got to us and I tell him everything and he was super mad obviously.EVEN HE SAYS HE WAS NEVER ASKED THAT WITH HIS LONG TIME IN THE MILITARY.This lady what I feel like racially profiled us but the irony is she is the same race as us.We both look like we white but aren't.Something is wrong with her and I don't know if any of her co-workers have caught on to anything.I will still be coming back here but will ask for someone else to attend me instead of her if we cross path again because this time I will report her.Shame I trew away the recipe otherwise I would have put her name in this review so everyone can know.ALSO want to trow in the fact thatch went to Camp Pendleton MCX and stores and they NEVER asked what she asked.My dad even asked them if they do that and the MANAGER said they don't do such thing and it was his first time hearing about that.A big middle finger to you Lady.

I love shopping at this MCX. Shelves are always stocked. Sales prices are reasonable compared to other military stores.

Terrible service takes forever to get a prescription. It's not like they are understaffed just a bunch of people doing nothing. I waited an hour and a half for cough drops

You would think this exchange would have floral arrangements available to take to our loved ones that are buried at the (close by) Miramar Natl Cemetery, but they don't! The Commissary does, but it takes much longer to park, find an arrangement, and check out! The exchange DID have them ready made, and a small florist office, but they no longer do! I'm sure it's a contract cost problem. If so, find a different florist person please! ... Also, I while I was at the exchange they didn't carry two other items I was looking for. (I even asked a worker when I finally found one). So, I was disappointed with my trip to the Miramar MCAS exchange! ?
