Shawn fixed my ancient Singer sewing machine and serviced both of my vacuum cleaners. The sewing machine now works better than it has in years! All three were ready in only 3 days and the bill was exactly as he had quoted when I dropped them off. I'm very happy with his service and highly recommend him.

I took my sewing machine here for repair awhile back and paid the $70 repair fee only to find there was no improvement in operation. Note to Midway V&S; I would have been happy to negotiate a price your time if the machine has a glitch and was irreparable, but it would have been nice for you to be forthcoming about it as I couldn't very well start sewing in the middle of your shop.

I was extremely disappointed with Midway Vac & Sew. When I called for an estimate to have my Dyson cleaned & serviced, I was quoted $60.00. When I dropped it off, I was also told that if it needed anything above the quote, he would call me first for approval. I left it there on Monday after being told it he would need it for 2 to 3 days. I never heard from him again. After 3 days I tried calling but his voicemail was "full". Finally I drove over there only to find a woman who told me she was not an employee, just a friend helping out & that the owner had gone on a "little vacation". I gave her my ticket & she found my Dyson & told me it was ready & that it would be $80.00. I advised her of the quote he gave me & she advised me that he must have needed a part for repair. I was not happy about any of this but gave her my credit card only to find that she didn't know how to work his credit square & I would have to pay cash. I am giving this a 1 star, but honestly, if I could I would give it a negative 10 stars. I will never use his services ever again! I have no idea what if anything he did to my vacuum.

They were able to service and repair our old dyson vacuum. They are cash, no credit card, no mask, no service. You can call to see if the repair is finished.I didn't have to wait at their shop. Each visit was quick. Thanks for the help!

Although more difficult to find now, once you've been there you won't forget. Support small business! Repair first and only replace if needed! The turnaround time was 3 days!!! I am more than satisfied with prompt service, good work and reasonable prices for service and repair.

My experience was perfect in every way, Professional, follow up, quality of work was excellent. Excellent value. I brought in a non working Kirby and partial working Dyson. He ordered a part for the Kirby determined the motor was shot. No charge. Dyson ordered the part did the repair at quoted price and works better than new. I would refer all to him its difficult to find honest local business. Midway Vac and Sew is that business

I have spent too much time scrolling through videos online to try and figure out the issue with my dyson vacuum. I was almost to the point of purchasing a new one, but thought I'd find a professional to see about fixing the problem. Luckily, I found Midway Vac and within 2 days, they had cleared the clog and cleaned my vacuum. It was $89, which was way better than buying another $500+ vacuum! Thanks guys!

I have visited the company twice and the first time my vacuum was cleaned very well but a part was broke from my power head and they claimed not to do it which 1000% they did. I just lived with the broken part for could not prove they did it.Fast forward a year or two and I brought my vacuum in again to be cleaned and the elbow for the power head to be replaced. I thought I bought the correct part but found out it was not and was told I could not find a new part and to buy a new vacuum. I do not like to put stuff in the landfill so went home and did some investigating and found the part in about 20 minutes. Brought the vacuum to a different shop and for $60 it is repaired.I do not feel that they are honest and therefore do not recommend them.

Sweetest lady I met in awhile. Sadly, I was told they serviced my Shark but when I walked in was informed otherwise. Very kind and the shop is very well put together (staff also again 2x kind, cant stress that enough). Sadly I wasted 40 miles of gas otherwise 5 stars.

I called Midway Vac and Sew @ noon the day before Thanksgiving and was a bit frantic since my Dyson wasn't working and I was hosting my family the next day. Shawn was awesome and told me to swing in asap so he could work on it before he closes shop at 3pm. I got a call an hour later and he gave it a full service and got it fully functional. Just in time for Thanksgiving. Thank you!

This place is great, the man who works on machines has a magic touch. I brought my singer sewing machine in because it had seized up, he fixed it in 2 seconds and didn't charge me. so kind. I will go back if I ever have anymore problems.

Great repair on my vacuum. Charge was as estimated even though he explained to me why it was a difficult repair. I can't remember the young man's name name but he told me he was the new owner of the shop and was trying to build up a positive reputation as it had previouslyNo been so good.I would highly recommend this shop for any repair work
