Miramar Landfill

Hours: Miramar Landfill is a place to quickly get rid of large truck loads of junk or trash for a disposal fee, which is based on vehicle size. Dumping green waste is no longer free and now costs a fee. The staff are frequently described as super friendly, helpful, great, and awesome, contributing to a positive overall experience for many visitors. There is a popular taco truck inside the dump that serves legit tacos, which customers enjoy. The landfill offers free compost and mulch, though some visitors find the mulch piles unclear and wish for better signs. There is also a question about the compost quality from some users. For those with metal items or who wish to sort junk to recycle, there is a nearby recycling center as an alternative. While lines can sometimes be long, the crew works hard to help everyone.
