This credit union has been around forever, and they should have much better customer service than they do. There has been a simple problem between me, receiving my rewards points and the bank providing them to the credit card company But the bank wants me to handle my own problems by providing medium information and I work it out with the Credit card company. Since when did I get hired the credit card company queer we shared that it’s the banks responsibility and they won’t even take the information for me while the bank refuses to contact the credit card company and rectify the situation.. this bank sucks. If you try to reach a supervisor the person you talk to is probably the supervisor and no one will provide who’s above them they do not know how to do business and modern times I give them one star and thumbs down.!

Very unfortunate that I have to leave this review but my debit card was compromised 1/25/24 and I asked for the card to be expedited and if they could waive the fee which they did thankful but unfortunately fedex had issues delivering and are sending back my debit card. After confirming that info with fedex 1/31/24 I called MFCU and I spoke to a representative and explained the situation and asked politely again if they would kindly waive the fee one more time due to fedex not delivering the card. The rep asked their manager “Chervi” about waiving the fee and denied it.. so this $5billion dollar bank couldn’t waive one more small fee to help me have access to my own funds? I work for a bank and I know it’s VERY possible for a manager to override a fee especially due to the circumstances.. so now I have to wait another week to get a new debit card. Very sad that they would rather make the situation worse than to help a loyal customer of 7years..

I have had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS RETRIEVING FUNDS from our wedding account!!! Making transfers, or large payments is also a hassle. I've been trying to send money through zelle for 2 days now for my photographer and cannot! Time to move my money out to a more reliable institution NFCU. I'm done stressing on trying to get our funds out of their vault!

This bank is horrible and the worst representative is that lady “Lizz” from corporate, very rude and unprofessional. Best decision I ever made was living this bank.

I wish I would have read the reviews prior to using them for a loan. They are terrible with customers, liars and cowards who like most institutions only care about the bottom line. They cost me $800 because of a mistake and all it would have taken was a phone call to resolve! Can't wait to close this account.

I financed my first home with MFCU back in June of 2022, I chose MFCU as my mortgage lender because I was a previous employee and I felt safe with them and the service they provided. Since the beginning this loan has been a nightmare. When I started the process back in June, I had to deal with no response from my loan officer, missing the due dates of the contingencies on MFCU’s end, and overall lack of communication. Today I received a cashiers check in the mail with NO letter or explanation to what it was for. Since it was for a significant amount I decided to call MFCU. They stated that check was for me to pay the supplemental tax as they don't pay for it, which is ok (but collect those funds and place in my escrow account). My tax bill was due on FEB 2023, it is now May which means it’s late. I told the lady I was unaware that I had to pay for the supplemental tax, I was under the impression they paid my property taxes and supplemental tax from my escrow account. Her response was, “well it’s stated on the welcome letter we sent you when you purchased your home, would you like me to email it to you?”. At this point why would I want the letter, I already accrued a late fee, you already told me the basics of it. That was a ridiculous “let me brush off my hands” response. The lack of professionalism and communication I have received from MFCU just blows my mind. Unfortunately and Fortunately the rate I received from them is 3% which is great, the downside is I got what paid for.

I've been waiting for my new ATM/Debit card to arrive in the mail but in vain. It has been almost a month since I ordered the card but nothing. When I called the bank, they told me that they haven't shipped it yet. This is sufficient evidence that this bank is very bad.

I was very happy with this bank for years but placing a paycheck on a ten day hold that I have been depositing for the ten years from the California Bank & Trust that is literally across the street from them is really poor customer service. I have never deposited a bad check nor written with them and while I am telecommuting a bit longer but will be back to close the account. Aloha Mission Fed.
