After several years at our previous tax accountant, we had an issue and were desperately looking for a new one that is at minimum, competent. We were referred to Maria by a friend. She is so knowledgeable and was able to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. I'd highly recommend her.

If there was a 6 or 10 Stars I would skip this 5 rating and give the highest to MJS Tax Services. Ladies of a team of professionals consistently provides excellent accountant and tax support throughout the year and updated EDUCATION on new laws. They will help you through complex financial situations and support you with care and concern. I moved here OUT OF STATE 2014 and they supported me with the transition; I have never gone anywhere else. There is no need with the best of the best. I'm not sure if you are like me but when someone is messing with my trusted financial and tax information; there has to be a profound trust and guarantee of the relationship. Maria is truly as good as they get! I've been using her services for about 8 years now and would never do my taxes using one of those online services or software again! She saved me over $9,000 by looking at previous years' taxes that I did using a popular PC application. I only trust Maria to do my taxes now. Lesson learned!!

I worked with Mary to get some past tax returns filed an amended. She was extremely helpful, reasonably priced, attentive and Charged a fair price for her services. She also answered questions about my return after I filed. Taxes always stress me out and I appreciate her patience.

There could be no better tax preparation service. You will know you're in good hands as soon as you walk through the door. My personal advice... be polite and respectful... say "please" and "thank you".... because this calibre of company does not need you as much as you need them.

I had 3 years of tangled, mangled records that were complicated and I felt it was pretty hopeless. I can't express how helpful Maria was. She met with me personally and managed to put her head into that mess and straighten it out for me. I'm grateful for her expertise and her knowledge of tax law but also because she was patient and didn't make me feel like an idiot! I feel confident that she found every deduction. I would also add that she made me feel at ease. I feel as if she took an enormous weight off my shoulders. I highly recommend her and would give her 10stars if I could!

I've been doing my taxes with Maria, MJS, going on 10 years now. Throughout this time I've always found Maria to be friendly, professional and more importantly knowledgeable with my State and Federal tax returns. Her advise with respect to tax planning is always spot on. Any money I've spent with Maria doing my taxes was money well spent. I've always thought that if you can find a professional knowledgeable in their trade, pay them what their worth because in the long run they end up saving you money. In Maria's case with all the money's she's saved me, I feel I've been taking advantage of her.

I found MJS Tax Services on Yelp and today I had my initial consultation with Maria. I brought a copy of my latest tax return and a huge list of questions about business tax planning, calculating income and expenses, profits, business entities, tax rates, employees, independent contractors, agreements, licences, liability insurance, investments and much more. Maria took the time to provide detailed answers to every single one of my questions and calculated how much money I'm going to have to pay in taxes after all deductions this year. She also shared a few thoughts, ideas and suggestions on what I need to do to protect myself as a small business owner and what I need to prepare for my next tax return. I think I actually learned more today during this one meeting than I did from most of my online research, personal conversations and consultations with other tax professionals. I can't stress enough how grateful I am and I highly recommend MJS Tax Services to all individuals and business owners. I really hope to work with them on a long-term basis.
