I purchased a NEW car here and discovered years later that they never gave me a real Toyota key fob but instead left the after-market alarm fob. When it broke and I needed it replaced, they told me they would not help because it is "not a Toyota product" and also said that the company that manufactured it had gone out of business. I contacted Toyota national headquarters, and they were astonished that one of their dealers did this. A year later, I was still trying to figure out how to get the fob replaced and I located the alarm manufacturer. Surprise! They are not out of business and happily mailed me a replacement fob. I will always remember how Mossy Toyota did not provide what they should have, and then did NOT help when that caused a problem. Edited to add: In response to the response from owner: I bought the car new, and when I contacted your manager last year, he had all the records of exactly when I purchased it and would not have been able to mistake it for a used car. If he had, I'm sure he would have tried to give me that excuse already. I edited my original review so that people would not think I was complaining about a used car. But nice try.

My dash lights on my 2009 Prius were out , as soon as I came in the service guy said $1500 for a new part. Even though I had told him that I had to get a jump start. He pressed that start button a few times and the dash lights came on he said that won't last it will come back. Then he was going to replace the battery without testing it first. I asked for an oil change, I was upcharged $20 for synthetic oil. I have never run that in my car and I was not asked if I wanted it. I have had good service here prior to this.

My experience trying to buy a car here was terrible. They live up to all the negative car dealer stereotypes and I would definitely recommend anyone interested in buying a car go elsewhere.I live in the Los angeles area but was having trouble finding a specific color Camry hybrid and saw online that they had one coming in, so I figured I could go by and talk to them about it while I was down in San Diego visiting family. We called Sunday before going in and agreed to a price with Kyle, who offered to take the deposit over the phone to make things easier. I said that would be great, sent in my credit and ID information, and waited for him to call to get the deposit. He texted that he had to leave work and would call me the next day. He didn't, and texted that he'd call Tuesday. When that didn't happen, I called the dealership and was told my name was on the reservation and that Kyle would call me the next day when he came in. I also got some questions answered--like how much you can put on a credit card($5000) and how long they give you to pick up a car once it comes in(standard is 3 day grace period, but I was told it was flexible when I mentioned being worried about it since I would need to arrange to get down there). I don't remember the name of the guy I spoke to, but he at least was helpful and polite.Wednesday I did get a call from the dealership, but it was from another guy there, checking in to see if I'd found a car with them because my credit info was there and didn't appear to be attached to a car purchase. I explained the situation and was told that Kyle was in that day and would call me when he was free. He did not, but I'd been assured twice that my name was on the reservation so I decided I'd wait.Friday I finally got a call from Kyle saying that the car had arrived and telling me I had to pick it up by Sunday. After not hearing from him all week, I wasn't prepared and asked if I could push that back(not to mention the 3 day pickup window I was told about would be Monday, even without any kind of flexibility). He then became rude and accused me of not being serious about buying the car. Finally he said he'd ask the gm and get back to me probably not that night, but first thing the next day. Of course, as expected by this point, he didn't, and I was done waiting for the lies and truly awful communication, so Sunday I called Mossy and asked to be taken off the reservation. I was happy to be done with them, and found the car I wanted(at a better price!) from a dealer who didn't try to play stupid games.Unfortunately, they continue to screw up and suck at communication. My email from the reservation is still attached to the car even after it's been sold to someone else, so I'm getting the Toyota notifications for the new buyer and my calls/emails to the dealer to fix this have gone ignored. So Julie with the blue Camry hybrid, if you're reading this, I've gotten the information about your Sirius trial and connected services, sorry!Do not expect them to get back to you or do what they say. Save yourself the stress and trouble by avoiding this place.

Came here with my family for a car wash. I used the restroom inside the car dealership and I'm glad it was nice and clean. Also, I appreciate the free popcorn they give out to everyone and the staff here are really nice!

Jaime Jimenez is an amazing sales person, we went in to look and test drive the Camry Hybrid. The goal was to go to multiple dealerships, but after dealing with Jaime we decided to purchase with Mossy Toyota. He was even gracious enough to show us the Hybrid Rav 4. Thanks Jaime for all your hard work and amazing personality. If anyone I know is in the market for a new Toyota I will be sure to direct them to you.

Look for Dennis as your next sales rep to help you with the purchase here! Profesional, patient and he will work for your best interest! But make sure to book an appointment with him first because he has many customers seeking for his help, no wonder why since he’s very pleasant to work with!Got myself a lease for 2024 Toyota Corolla XSE! Had an absolutely fantastic deal.Luis Carreon is new here but very friendly and helpful, as well as all other stuff here. They agreed to let me take the WRX out for a pre-purchase inspection and it turned out that the car is in great condition. They also offered a discount so that I can get my first month insurance and drive the car home on the same day. They also agreed to replace the aftermarket exhausts with the stock ones (that sit in the trunk) for free.

Look I’m not one for reviews but here it is….Every time I come here to get service on my car I Richard always takes care of me as I’m sure he does with other customers. He is always looking out and giving the best customer service he can provide. I am more than happy to keep coming back.And the glass department! Fantastic. I called Mike to get a quote for a new windshield and I had it within minutes. And I will be coming in this weekend hopefully for that.Love mossy Toyota !

I put off getting a new car WAY longer than I should. There was no excuse: I knew exactly what I wanted (Tacoma), had time and means to buy it, etc. I just hated the car buying process so much that I couldn't bring myself to get to a dealership. The hammer finally fell today and on a recommendation, I went down to Mossy. Walked up, met salesperson Jaime Jimenez and a left a happy customer in my new Tacoma. Did I mention HAPPY? It was the easiest car buying experience I've had - Jaime is very personable, knows the business and keeps you at ease. It felt really good when I rolled out of that parking lot - I knew I was taken care of and got a great deal with no politics or shady posturing. Thanks Jaime!Ps - the tall guy in the Finance Dept was great also. No stress experience

We have leased, purchased, & maintained out Toyota vehicles here for the past decade.Recently, we had a problem with the clutch (we only drive Manual Transmission vehicles).It took a few days to diagnose, order parts, & repair...and we were busy and distraught over having to share a car for two weeks due to another "emergency" situation.Richard, our Service Manager, and Alejandro, our Lead Mechanic, were professional and accommodating. The repairs were completed and the car is back to normal. The communication was a bit disjointed, but the problem was fixed and I am satisfied.We will continue with Mossy Toyota.
