Usually, Navy Federal has outstanding service, but this branch is just a shame for the whole bank system... The person working there literally rejected my request because it would take him too long and rather to receive my statements here and now. This person told me he would send them via mail... honestly, I'm still in shock in this situation. Instead of arguing with me for 5 minutes, he could perform the task... Again, I'm just in shock that now people literally don't want to work.... Very disappointed! PS: I went to another bank branch and they helped me with my request without a question... Please train your staff how to properly talk with customers and how to perform all services!

I have visited this branch multiple times, and the service I received from America was truly outstanding. Not only did she assist me in getting my finances in order, but she also helped me navigate my transition out of the military. She is friendly and approachable She took the time to listen to my concerns and provided guidance. Her extensive knowledge in financial matters were apparent throughout our conversations. She made me feel comfortable discussing my financial situation and offered practical solutions that have greatly benefited me. Navy Federal is fortunate to have such an employee like her. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking assistance with their financial needs.

I'm disappointed with the fact that we were turned away from the lady at the front desk who could have assisted us better but didn't.... We came in to inquire about a home loan, and she told us they don't take walk ins, so why couldn't we have spoken to someone who is a home loan officer was she a loan officer? That day, there was barely anyone in the bank. I don't see why we couldn't speak to someone. I really dont appreciate her at all that day and hope the next time we come in and inquire about something that we will get to speak to someone instead of getting turned away. Next time we see her, we will just walk right back out because apparently we have to schedule an appointment to walk into this bank.

I have been a Navy Federal Member for almost 20 years and I have never left a review until now. I had the pleasure of having America help me with my banking needs and she was delightful. She was very knowledgeable and had answers to all my questions. This was definitely a 5 star experience with America.

First, this company is great. This branch is not only nice and new but everyone is so professional. NFCU has almost all my banking needs. I love them. They really are world class. However, there are some app technical glitches that were still not fixed despite my best efforts to address this with their technical team. IT gets 3 stars.

I joined NFCU in 1975. They gave me a loan for $500 (equivalent in purchasing power to about $2,431 in 2021) allowing me to buy a bunch of WesPac goodies to haul home. Groovy!!! I never borrowed again anywhere by being incredibly frugal and requiring all girl friends to buy their own stuff. I got my first and only credit card via NFCU and that has been our main financial dealing over the decades. Never have done a face-to-face dealing with NFCU. All done by mail at first then a few times over the telephone and after the Web burst upon the scene that venue allows various actions to be performed. What a deal. I read somewhere that NFCU is the world's largest credit union. All the cool kids, sailors and marines are members!!!

I showed up half an hour before closing to set up an auto loan. It's my first time, so naturally, I'm kind of clueless. I was met at the door by several tellers, preventing me from actually walking inside. The lady at the door asked what I wanted so I told her about myself needing an auto loan. I was hoping she could clear up any confusion I had inside. I specifically asked to come inside and talk to an employee because she was just forcing more questions on me rather than answering anything. She told me I had to do everything online or over the phone and they would mail me what I needed. I know this isn't true because just a little while ago, my friend did the same thing and was invited inside and he was helped. As I could tell I wasn't getting anywhere, I just ended up walking away. Other military members were stopped at the door by staff literally looking at their watches while talking to the patrons. I left more confused than when I arrived. Being forced to stand outside in the sun and discuss my financial predicament half an hour before closing is just a testament to the laziness and lack of actual enthusiasm to serve service members shown by the employees of this chain.

I visit this NF semi-regularly, and I have always had good experiences. This location is on the commissary/NEX side of Naval Station San Diego near the 32nd street entrance. The staff is generally quite friendly and are pretty good about getting to you quickly and getting your things taken care of. No complaints, it's pretty average for a NF in my opinion :)

After being turned away for a loan application at two other navy federal locations , luckily this navy federal facility was able to help me with my application ! The bank worker who helped me , I believe is was "Tanaya" . She was very helpful ! She explained everything very well and after we told her we were in a rush , she made sure to work as quickly and efficiently as possible ! She was extremely nice and polite ! I had a very good experience! Left in less than one hour with my loan being approved and printed !

Every time I come here I always have a good and smooth experience. The workers are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Recently my husband and I went in almost to closing time and they took care of us past the time they had closed. They have great customer service and really do put the customer first.
