this bank does not care about your financial security. i went in to cash a check not knowing that the check given me was false. i did not even realize that it had a fake signature of woodrow wilson on it. the teller didn't notice it either and approved it. a few days after cashing it, i get the notice from navy federal and they immediately pulled it back out of my account so that my account went negative. i get that it was my fault for being naive to fraud but they did not give me an opportunity to pay it back or open a credit account for me but instead just pulled all the money i had in my checking account so that i had negative $1400 and left me to deal with collections. also, I would prefer the security of a bank that could identify false checks easily

Adriana and Ernie have great customer service, are patience, explain everything with great detail and thoroughly, they are professional with everyone even with those rude and entitled members. Keep up the good work ??

Customer Service is extremely slow in this location. I live in downtown but was in the area to pick up a check and speak with a representative. The young woman in the front wrote my name down and asked me to take a seat. That'd I'd be called up shortly. 6 people ahead of me waiting. Only two service representatives at 2pm on a Tuesday. Not to mention, when the representative was done with a customer, they went back to the center podium to continue conversing with the young woman in front about their weekend or after work plans. Like hello... we're all on borrowed time and have things to do and you're on the clock. Idle chat should be kept to a minimum when presented with a rush hour in these prestige financial institutions. Please do your job well because if it's something worth doing, it's worth doing well. I waited 1.5hr to get called up. 2.5hours in total to pick up my APPROVED CAR LOAN check that had been approved days before.

Went to get something notarized, and was told they were not able to do it because it wasn't a Navy federal document. I called another navy fed a couple miles away and they said they were able to do it. Not sure why this Navy federal couldn't, but they didn't help much. They were very respectful, but didn't help much.

I am having a terrible ongoing experience trying to close an account and wire funds on line and over phone. It has taken over two weeks to do this and it is not yet completed. First the NFCU message system doesn't provide notification for responses so I have to constantly check back to make sure there are no issues. Over the phone they say everything is ok then without notification say it is not. They promise it will get done then it doesn't happen. I don't know how they stay in business!

This was my first time to the Palm City branch of Navy Fed. A friend of mine was going and I needed to do a variety of tasks, including a double charge on my credit card from an overseas merchant. I anticipated a lot of difficulty, but I met with Krista (my name too!!!) in her own office and she greeted me with a friendly smile, and assured me everything I needed could be done right there. I was very impressed by her professionalism and helpfulness. She guided me through everything including an award notification for additional percentage on my CD, opening an IRA with fantastic rates, and starting the investigation on the overseas double charge on my credit card. It is a real pleasure these days, to interact with a business that has such fantastic customer service. Thank you Krista, and the wonderful staff at Palm City Branch. Although it is a bit of a distance from where I live, I will be sure to come back to you for future tasks. ?

Everything about Navy Fed is a bad experience. Long lines. Their ATMs are supposed to take deposits, but it hasn’t worked in over a year and they don’t know what’s wrong or how to fix it. Reps have little training and are ZERO help. Absolutely nobody takes responsibility for problems when they arise, and problems will arise if you bank with Navy Fed.

This is the worst Navy Federal branch I’ve ever seen. Employees are incompetent. Assistant manager is rude and has no courtesy at all. This branch is a damage to NFCU’s reputation. What a shame! take your business elsewhere and don’t let these very unhelpful people ruin your day.
