Nice store, selection is not the same as online with wide shoes. Went there to purchase wide shoes for my 4 year old son They only have wide in a few select styles. New balance Online most shoes have the option of wide. Saw styles I liked but was only in medium.

Just stopped by the store at 7:39pm and an employee was standing at the door not letting anyone in. Should change store hours if the employees can make decisions to close the store early. Store loses money when that happens.

My family and I have visited this store several times but the employees today lacked customer service skills and were unwelcoming. The supervisor greeted a customer next to me and even when she walked directly past me on a separate occasion never even attempted to offer assistance or ask if I needed help finding anything but rather made eye contact and walked past me, walking through the store. I usually prefer looking around without being bothered but this time my wife was also shopping for my son and did not receive assistance either. We found what we needed no thanks to the staff and purchased adult sneakers, 2 shirts and 2 pairs of child sneakers never once being assisted. Although I stood next to the changing room with 2 items to try on was not even offered a dressing room. What ever happened to basic customer service. These two ladies could use a lesson from NIKE staff who greet their customers at the entrance and offer assistance as they encounter a customer. Selection was not bad.

Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. After buying shoes at Nike and looking specifically for a good "just starting to run" type of shoe and not really feeling Nike... came here and they were doing a Buy 1 pair get 1 pair 50% off. Good deal, but prices have definitely soared... or maybe because I do not wear this brand (my feet fit much better in Skechers) but $130 is a normal price for most shoes here... so considering this is an outlet, shoes costs more?? In any event ended up finding some running shoes on clearance and when all was said and done, was about $65, as there were doing 30% off clearance. The same lady helped us and she was very friendly and consistently walking to isles to help customers. My significant other likes these shoes so much he dressed down at work inside of going formal just so he could wear these shoes!

Be very careful when you buy shoes from New Balance San Ysidero. Mine came unstitiched in less than a week. I returned them to Kenneth the Manager showed him the fault and he said he couldn't exchange them as they were not in sellable condition.. I asked him if he was going to sell a shoe with a fault. He then asked how It happened so suggested he spoke to the person who made them in China. How does a customer know how a shoe develops a fault. He offered me a gift card.. My contract was for a pair of shoes that last longer than 4 days and worn once. He did in the end give a refund and seemed to think he was doing it as a favor. Steer well clear.
