NovaSD is a popular nightclub in San Diego, owned by Insomniac. The venue is known for bringing in top-tier DJs and electronic music acts, often outperforming other local clubs like Bloom or EQ. The club's atmosphere is described as vibrant, with a beautiful, clean, and extravagant interior. The sound quality is great, and the overall vibe is amazing. However, the club can sometimes get overcrowded, particularly during big shows, leading to physical confrontations and a lack of personal space. The drug of choice among attendees is primarily alcohol, which can contribute to belligerence. Reviewers suggest that the best experience at NovaSD is attending events with B-tier artists, where the dance floor is less crowded. The staff is generally described as friendly and respectful, though the drinks can be pricey. The club has three floors, including a rooftop area that provides a peaceful escape from the main dance floor. Overall, NovaSD is considered a great club for those seeking a lively, high-energy nightlife experience in San Diego, but attendees should be prepared for potential overcrowding and the associated challenges.

Overcrowded and Tiny. Went there for a 90's and 2000's party and they kept letting people in and the dance floor was more like a concert which was overwhelming. I decided to leave early because of how uncomfortable I was.
