Absolutely love OTF Point Loma. The entire staff are so incredibly nice and personable and the coaches are so supportive and push me (in a nice way) to push myself. In the past months I’ve exceeded my own expectations and have never felt stronger. So happy to have this little workout crew.

I was welcomed with enthusiasm and got me very excited to try the work out here. My whole body was sore for a week. My trainer Emily did a fantastic job. I highly recommend.

Very shady business practices. This location overcharges members and then refuses to refund the money. I know several people who have experienced the same issue. Corporate has even reached out promising to fix the overcharge but never did. If you can't trust a company with your credit card, you definitely should not trust them with your health and fitness.

My boyfriend and I were charged multiple monthly payments even though we specifically requested to try out the gym for just 1 month when we joined. We thought this mistake would be easily corrected when we contacted the studio but the manager was very unreasonable and insisted that they would not be fixing the overcharge. We ended up having to pay almost $600 to do 4 classes. It seemed like the manager was attempting to swindle as much money from us as possible since we were cancelling but we were planning on joining again in the future. This establishment seems to be more focused on ripping off customers than providing a good experience.

I was charged over $400 for 4 total classes and the same thing might happen to you if you join this location. In my case, I made it clear that I only wanted to do 4 total classes. However, they did not mention that you have to cancel 30 days in advance or you will be automatically billed every month (this means you have to cancel the day you sign up or you will be charged for at least 2 months). After I was charged for the additional month which I was told would not happen, I immediately froze my membership (for another fee) to temporarily stop the payments. Once I spoke to the manager and let him know that I had been overcharged, he proceeded to refuse to fix the overcharges and even argued that the 30 day cancellation notice doesn’t count during a freeze so I would be charged for yet another month of membership fees. Honestly, with a manager like that, they should probably remove "integrity" from their values.

I enjoyed this Orangetheory. The location is clean and the parking is convenient. I appreciate Kate pushing me to lift more weights and correcting form as needed - the coaches here have been great so far!

Came in from out of town to work out with my cousin. I couldn't tell you one song that played because the coach was talking the entire time. At one point I felt like leaving...lol after the class was over, they proceeded to call my number on file, which is fine, but after about 5 times, I decided to block them. I noticed that my voicemail was 90% full but I didn't have any voicemails in my trash bin or my mailbox, so I went to blocked messages and there was over 20 blocked voicemails from this place....calling either every 2 days, or every week, since MARCH. It is now July. Please take me off the calling list. Thanks.

Diverse, challenging workouts. Motivating and engaging staff. If you are looking for a. Whole body workout, accountability and a group training environment - this place provides an awesome environment for just that!

I really don't think the membership prices are worth it, especially because you can't just go workout there on your own time. I really hated how they charge you if you end up having to cancel a class. I kept having stuff come up so I had to cancel some classes and reschedule. It's annoying that some employees don't make you pay the penalty fee and that other ones are sticklers. Most of the trainers are super friendly but it really bothered me that they weren't correcting people when they didn't have a proper form. This can lead to permanent injuries and it's upsetting to see them just ignore it. This location was fairly clean but it's so small compared to other ones. That being said, OTF is great for people who are just starting to get back into working out. There are so many better places that are significantly cheaper around Point Loma tho!

This place is the best. The front desk staff is amazing, they know my name (joined 12/27). The coaches are awesome, encouraging, motivating and very nice. I’ve been an instructor for group classes at other gyms and this team of coaches are far better than myself. 5 stars team. LETS GO

What an incredible journey we’ve had here. My husband and I have tried a few gyms but nothing really stuck like OTF! Being at two different fitness levels we are still able to enjoy a 60 minute workout together. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by front desk staff, your journey begins to a healthier and happy life. Each and every one of the coaches gives you 110% of their passion and energy to help you along your journey! As we near our two year anniversary @OTF, as much healthier peeps, we are so thankful for them all!! ?

I love it here!!! I had been interested in trying Orangetheory for some time and finally gave it a go in October of last year, and have been hooked since the first class. The coaches are amazing (shout out Coach Ellie, Emily, Nicky & Head Coach Meeeechelle!!). The studio staff is the sweetest (hey Lara and Mall!) and my fellow OTFers are rockstars. I feel better mentally, physically and emotionally. It's one of my fav hours of the day :)
