Sign says it opens at 10. It's 10:15. Store is closed. Really this is an easy fix and frankly highly frustrating when you think a place is open and make your way, wait from 9:55-10:15 with no signs it is opening. Whomever is the manager, work on this.

I feel like for a store that is literally for parents and children, it's not very parent and child friendly. This place opens later than other San Diego Carter's at 11 which is super annoying. Kids get out of school at 11:55 so I never have time to go here in the morning and I'm definitely not driving over here at rush hour because the traffic is awful at all times, let alone rush hour. The layout of the store is also not stroller friendly. There are barely any spaces wide to navigate a regular stroller around and I'm always crashing into stuff because there is no room. I'm not a marketing expert but you'd think that a *baby* clothes store would encourage parents to be able to bring their *baby* in easily and have their hands free to be able to buy more things. When you have to carry your baby around, you have no hands to hold merchandise or look through things. When you have no room for your stroller, you get frustrated and leave. Lastly, the customer service just sucks. Not super friendly and never around when you need them. It seems they are always in the back or chatting with each other instead of being available for help. The line was three people long (which is long for that store and the checkout takes forever for whatever reason) and there was only one employee ringing up while two other associates were just having a conversation with each other across the store. Will always choose the El Cajon location over this one even though it's way farther away.

Went in the other day to get my nieces and nephews some outfits. I came across the worst customer service . Keila, was very rude & she made me feel uncomfortable with her dirty looks. Felt she was being very micro-aggressive. Very disgusted.

I was in the store on 181st in Upper NYC --I have been several times with similar experience and I am done. I am standing in line while one woman is being helped ( with an online order!!!!) and 2-3 other sales people are ignoring me! Two are putting clothes away on racks while one is at the register taping something down on the counter! There is also a security guard standing in the front of store. 4-5 people working and helping NO ONE. There is almost no one in the store shopping and I can see why! This is how Amazon will put you out of business and these salespeople out of a job. Ridiculous! I am a grandmother with much disposable income and 2 grandkids to spend that money on --but no more at Carter's oshkosh. And I was ordering a LOT of merchandise from you in the past!

Would give higher score but this is why: Customer service. Yes it really does matter. The two girls working tonight (Jan 13th) need more training. No matter how tired you are or what's going on in your personal life- always take care of the customer! Make them feel welcomed, comfortable, be friendly! It's a store where moms will be suckers and buy adorable clothes- hint: we're likely to spend more the friendlier you are! My boyfriend and I both left there with a really uneasy feeling. I only left with a purchase bc when you return something for store credit you HAVE to use it same day. Interesting but okay. I'm 39 weeks pregnant and getting over a terrible cold. Finishing my last minute "to do's" I walked in with a bag of 3 outfits I received for Christmas that had Carter tags on them. It was 6pm on a Sunday and like I said, super pregnant and getting over a cold I threw my hair up and put on the most comfy sweats I owned. This girl looked at me like I was white trash and trying to pull a fast one on her. Not even realizing one tag said Macy's she just responded "if it says Macy's it won't scan in our system" (thank you captain obvious i figured that much, just didn't realize it until i got there). I told her "oh no problem I can take it to Macy's, do you think I can return these for store credit please?" From there on out our interaction was so awkward and cold. She was extremely unfriendly and seemed super miserable and annoyed that I was in her store. After picking out two cute outfits we used our credit and left- I believe I was the one who had to say "thanks so much, have a good night". Now a few hours later I told my boyfriend "we should shop there now for the baby, the clothes were cute and good prices". He responded "i don't want to go back, the ladies working were so rude". And he is a very easy going guy and doesn't let much bother him. Overall the store was clean and organized which is important as well. Just a major bummer with the service- a staff that is cold and doesn't make a customer feel comfortable while shopping is bad news bears for business. :(

I mostly shop online but whenever I need to make an exchange or want to do In store shopping, this is the location I prefer. There is a ton of parking making it very easy to be here. The store is quite large compared to a lot of the other area Carter's which is good for variety. My biggest issue with this store, but really with most stores I just shop at carters a lot so I see it often, there are next to no boy clothes compared to girls! Boy moms want to dress up their kids too. We also want a closet full of clothes, but the stores sell next to nothing for boys! It is so frustrating and that is the reason why I online shop so much. This will continue to be the carters I come to the most but I will keep sticking to online shopping and be furious every time I come here since I am a boy mom.

My family and I just came back from here and we were disappointed. A fat lady with glasses who works there gave us the vibe that she thought we were going to steal something because she would follow us at every section we would go to look at clothes. There were other customers there but she was only focused on us. I learned to not judge a book by its cover and apparently this particular employee does. But it's okay, the clothes weren't cute anyway that I only bought a toddler Christmas pajama. The only reason I bought it was because it was sold out online. Do yourself a favor and go to the Carter's in Clairemont or San Ysidro. The employees in those locations are sweet and professional. The first and last time I'm ever coming here.

Store is beautiful! Great selection for the sizes I needed. (6-14 in boys) Very neat, organized and very convenient. The manager Hanalei was extremely helpful and customer service friendly. I'm so glad I found my new favorite store!

This is such a mom (and dad) store. But it's also going to be great for gift shopping, whether you have a baby shower to go to or you're the funcle that likes to buy gifts randomly, this will be a great stop. I'm so glad I decided to stop in. The store has only been open for a couple of months and has tons of inventory. The sales were so good too, I thought it might have been an outlet store. Because it's new it was pretty quiet and the racks weren't picked through. Also, parking was plenty in the huge lot near the Olive Garden and Ross.
