Great location with a decently sized parking lot with 60 minutes free while inside. Plenty of indoor and patio seating and a community vibe. There are usually both groups and people working on a laptop inside. I love the Black Tie and am still dreaming about the holiday sausage waffle breakfast sandwich that's gone now. I always order ahead on the app but the staff always says hi. Prices are a bit cheaper than Starbucks and quite frankly the coffee is better.

I just walked out of the cafe in Hillcrest after getting horrible service with a side of snark from Andrew. I went in to buy beans, was surprised to find that the bean bar has been removed. After a conversation with a barista, she told me the packaged beans were ,"buy one get one free", but it rang up much more expensive. Andrew came over and told me it was actually buy one get one 30% off, and told me "we are very clear about that". I told him that the woman next to him had literally just told me something else, he got very snarky and said "is there anything you need, because the people behind you have been waiting a long time". I told him I needed better service and left empty handed. A foul, snarky, unprofessional "manager". I am a Peets subscriber and will be cancelling my subscription.

Always my fave coffee shop hands down! Why? Well because their consistency in their drinks never waiver! Their mocha, oh their mocha!! That is the one I judge all mochas to! It's not overly sweet and YES they have whip! Without the whip, it's just a chocolate latte. Come I. Know perfection and treat yourself! I'm serious! No place is on par with Peet's!

AMBIANCE Peet's in Hillcrest is a clean, spacious, and naturally lit coffee and tea shop. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The parking lot was filled in on my visit, and is free as a patron for the first hour. DRINK 5/5 Black Tie: deliciously strong cold brew infused with chicory syrup and a splash of milk and cream. I added more milk from the self serve area. SERVICE Staff were amicable, attentive, and friendly Tip: beware of parking in the adjacent parking lot which does not have the same rules for patrons.

How Peet's has fallen. This was once a lovely cafe , bustling with customers, as if it were the center of the village. The interior was lovely. What happened? They got rid of ALL the nice art. Even the back door is locked now, so you cannot enter from the parking lot. Fire hazard? The employees look mostly quite unhappy, and it shows in the product. Very little eye contact...Today the Asian barrista made a cappucino with much too much milk and i watched as she basically dumped the milk into the cup with zero finesse.Dont expect little flowers at the top of your expensive coffee drink. Not better than the Starbucks in the Ralph's sorry to say.

I ordered an iced matcha latte, but because of some misunderstanding it came out hot. I apologized and asked if I could add ice or whatever was convenient, but what the barista lady did was throw the matcha cup straight into the sink, in front of everyone, with no response. I thought maybe it was because she was busy, but then she screamed loudly when the cold matcha cup had been remade in an unacceptable tone and attitude. I didn't want to cause trouble so I chose to leave. It was shocking, rude and disrespectful.
