Terrible customer service. I had to cancel due to illness and wasn't able to go. I called over 24 hours ahead of time but they still demanded I had to be charged the cost of the room. They were not understanding or willing to be helpful at all. I spoke with Michelle and the manager Cassie they said we have a rigid policy and are not able to help. I then asked the hotel manager Cassie who I could speak with from customer relations, to which she responded she doesn't have that information. I asked how the manager of a hotel doesn't have this information and she said I don't know. I will not be using Pendry in the future. Travel these days especially is always filled with complication and to think that a hotel won't be understanding speaks to their poor customer service

Lovely hotel with one of the greatest restaurants I’ve experienced while traveling. Great location but gave it 4-stars due to room size. Tight spots and layout made for an awkward setup.

Hands down best hotel experience of all time.
Front desk and doormen were the kindest people I’ve ever encountered at a hotel.
Room was clean and bed was comfy with a wonderful view of the pool down below.
Pool area is amazing and so is the service down there.
Provisional was amazing too for breakfast and dinner, with very attentive and polite staff.
We utilized the car loaner program and spent a wonderful afternoon in La Jolla.
Overall I felt very welcomed and would recommend to all who are looking for a luxury hotel experience.

Lovely location, but we had a very sentimental item stolen from our room. We brought to the attention of the staff and were told they would get back to us, but they never did. Bummer. Won't stay. here again. Beware, if you are staying here!

Lovely hotel. Made a welcome change from the large chain hotel brands. Great selection of dining options. I would definitely return here. It could do with having more to help recycling such as separate bins for recycling in rooms.

I went there with my cousin for brunch, as soon as we got there Richard from Valet received us with a smile and was very friendly. He was very nice and cute. He took care of my car really well. Food was really good, I really enjoyed the steak and eggs.
I recommend this place 100%

The hotel is nice, eclectic and luxury. I have stayed at the Pendry in Baltimore, which is the best, at least for me.
Here everything was great, but some of the front desk managers were not as attentive or nice. The bartender, the special event coordinator, the concierge lady at the lobby were awesome, as well valet personal.

Lovely stay at the Pendry. Everyone from the valet/door man, to front desk staff, to maintenance personnel were all welcoming, warm and friendly. We accidentally booked an accessible room and the front desk double checked if we intended or needed that room which we didn't. We were able to get a room on the upper floors and it was quite nice. The hotel lobby and property were beautiful, the room was really nice, clean and comfortable. The shower may be not everyone's cup of tea but we liked it. You can pull the fabric curtain if you want a little more privacy. The water however had an odor to it, so we couldn't really relish in a hot shower after a long day. Unfortunately ice buckets in the room is nice but there are no ice machines on the floor, we were advised to call room service for that. A bit inconvenient, we've stayed at other boutique hotels before and each floor had an ice machine. The walls were a wee bit thin, we could hear our neighbor's call on speaker singing "Happy Birthday" early in the morning which was annoying especially for the price of the room. We didn't get to really use any of the amenities during our stay since we were busy with family functions but we did enjoy our stay.

This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Extremely clean and the staff were incredibly accommodating. I needed a mini fridge, iron, and non-down pillows and they brought everything right away. My only qualm is the shower being in the middle of the room. Even by myself I felt slightly uncomfortable. It was in a great spot in the city, however. Tons of food close by and a CVS. The two bars in the hotel were great too. But the poolside lunch spot was insanely expensive. Would probably not eat there again. Over $50 for a drink and quesadilla.

Our stay at the hotel had its highlights, but a few issues left us disappointed. On the positive side, the front desk staff warmly welcomed us, and every staff member we encountered acknowledged us, which made us feel appreciated. The service was generally good, and we made use of the valet service, which was excellent, as it should be for $65 a day.
However, there were some downsides. We were unpleasantly surprised by a $44 daily amenity fee, which felt unnecessary since we didn't use any of the amenities it supposedly covered, like a Pendry car, guitar, or bike. I followed up on this after our stay, and I wish they would only charge those who actually use these services. Resort and amenity fees are not as standard as the staff claimed – we travel frequently and rarely encounter them.
We were also looking forward to enjoying the rooftop pool, but it was overcrowded, seemingly with non-hotel guests, and the atmosphere was loud and obnoxious. Unfortunately, I had to deal with some bullying behavior from drunk girls leaving the pool and getting on our elevator, which was unsettling. Pool guests also left their drinks and trash everywhere, detracting from the experience.
Given these issues, particularly the unwelcome fees and the unpleasant pool environment, we’re unlikely to stay at a Pendry hotel again.
