I am writing to bring to your attention a significant issue regarding the service provided by Petco located at 25592 El Paseo, Mission Viejo, CA 92691. My recent experience with the grooming appointment scheduled with employee Sara warrants immediate attention and resolution.I booked a pet grooming service at 10am on 3/4/24 Monday.Despite receiving a text confirmation just 55 minutes prior to my appointment, upon arriving at the store, I was informed that my appointment had been canceled without any prior notice. It was only then that I was informed of a water pipe issue as the reason for the closure. While I understand unforeseen circumstances can arise, the lack of communication regarding the cancellation is unacceptable.What aggravates me even more is the fact that I had adjusted my work schedule to make it to the appointment, only to be met with this inconvenience. The employees at the store admitted that Sara should have called to notify customers of the issue and to reschedule. This demonstrates a below-average level of professionalism and customer service on Sara's part.The most crucial aspect of any appointment is not just scheduling it but also holding it and notifying customers of any changes in a timely manner. The poor communication demonstrated by the business wasted not only my time but also left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.Furthermore, upon visiting the store, I encountered no sense of urgency or empathy from the employees regarding the inconvenience caused to customers. This lack of accountability and customer care only adds to my dissatisfaction with Petco's service.I urge Petco headquarters to address this issue promptly and implement measures to ensure that such incidents do not recur. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, particularly when disruptions occur. It is essential for Petco to uphold its reputation for excellent service by rectifying this situation and preventing similar occurrences in the future.

We have tried to buy fish at Petco in Farmington, NM three times. This last time I was told by the employee in the fish dept. to come back hours later due to her servicing the fish tanks. I was literally standing in the store ready to spend my money there. I asked for the manager~ same story from her. There is a small mom and pop fish store in Farmington- I will spend my money there from now on. Ridiculous. Terrible customer service.

Apparently no one is working in the Vacaville CA store in the grooming department. I've left numerous messages and no return of my messages, I even called the corporate office in San Diego and they hung up on me after putting me on hold. I'm cancelling my association with Petco and I'm going someplace. I had them groom my dog for 9 years, and I'm done with Petco.This is new and ongoing since November 2023.I've been trying to get an issue resolved with the Petco Grooming Vacaville CA, and so far nothing. All I get is a follow up email that someone will contact me, well that's been 11 emails and counting.Petco Grooming Vacaville CA has a terrible customer service.I've taken my dog for grooming since she was a pup, now she's almost 11 years old.

Pretty pathetic that I put in several calls and 2 emails to complain about a rude manager (Thomas Pham) - Henderson, NV store #1195 almost 3 weeks ago AND STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK. District manager is Janessa Bogue and I've yet to hear from her. The 877 "customer service" line is also full of associates who are less than unhelpful. With 2 dogs, a gecko and a snake, they just lost our business; Not just this branch, but Petco in general. PetSmart, here we come!

Has a delivery service that doesn't workOrder same-day delivery, no matter what time I placed the order they will instead make it next day or standard delivery when they advertise same-day as on the customers schedule.On another delivery order; they make what they TELL me to be the delivery date the day they process the order instead.Then they just outright cancel a final order; claim stock, which when I went in to buy the food a second time there was more than 20 of the bag on the shelf; and say they gave my money back but haven't moved a dime back my wayReally seems like this pet company doesn't care if it's customers pets have everything that they need on time or even at all since they refused to do anything to fix their mistakes and this is the FOURTH TIME IN A ROW this has happened.Thier "premier support" just laughed at me and said no to making their mistakes right with me

I made an online purchase last week. I paid with Apple Pay Apple Cash, then there was some issue that needed to be “fixed” before my order could be processed. I fixed it and paid with my credit card in Apple Pay. I waited several business days before calling because they took my Apple Cash and from my AmEx card. I finally after a long hold got to speak to a manager who said, “I will send you an email so you can send proof that we double charged you.” She said they would get back to me. Shortly after, they sent an email saying that I need to call Apple to get my money back. Really? I should call AmEx and dispute the charge. If I don’t get it back, that’s what I will do. You can’t get $177.53 twice. I’m done with Petco.

Petco is the most inconsistent retailer I have found. I’m trying to order items either online with their live chat. I tried to order online for Saint bank delivery it says not available. I call Petco corporate and they set it up. No problem today I called corporate and they can’t seem to find out how I can get same-day delivery. It’s not available you have to order so many it’s so inconsistent. It’s terrible terrible customer service I don’t really know how they stay in business.

Returned an item for a store credit. Said I could use it anytime. Went to use it on 2/9/24 and it showed a 0 balance. Never used it. Card has no expiration date or says there is one. I had 65.00 on a card I was told I could use anytime and there's nothing on it. It's like she never put an amount on the card. Had about 65.00 credit. Where's my credit? Card # 6300293389346555

Do NOT do business with them. They are deceptive. They told me to sign up for Vital Care to try it out and that I could cancel any time. You can not cancel it and it charges over $10 a month and you are forced into a year commitment. What a scam! Evil company. If this is how they treat customers, I will never shop there again.

Petco in Holly Springs, North Carolina is by far the best pet store. I love everything about this store and the staff is second to know. But most of all I love my groomer Jessica. I recommend her everywhere I go. She does an outstanding job on my poodle Max. and I will not go to anyone else.

Website is good when it works. If something is running low your cart will probably error out because not enough quantity. Recheck all your items because things may default to a different size or flavor.Customer service is really pretty useless. I have been fighting to get the correct size of an item for a week and a 1/2 not. Customer service has promised 6 times for a supervisor call back and it never happens. "Back Office" that has to do adjustments, you will be told you get a response in 24-48 hours but it took them 5 days to respond only to tell me we can't cancel the order because it was already delivered to me. (it was) so I had to return it to the store and they weren't sure of how to do the return. The agent that was supposed to place the replacement order didn't do what he said so I have had to go back and forth every day this week trying to get things resolved.I have not had issues going into the store but if you have a problem with online, it's going to get frustrating.
