STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY If this is the company used by Lowe’s to delivery and install appliances. The delivery / installers that did our install lied about what he did and Lowe’s only passed the buck, “it’s a third party vendor”. Will never use Lowe’s again and won’t use this company- no ethics or morals.

Not a very service oriented group. Maybe they’re of the belief that transporting goods are the “only”service they provide because customer service, website navigation and package tracking is definitely not their forte.My order was due to arrive on December 23rd, 2021 according to the purchase made in early December. Which was fine considering it was the holiday season. But the actual delivery was made on January 12, 2022.This package delivery took several attempts to track, schedule, follow up, reschedule and even get a hold of someone in San Diego.In today’s modern technology era, it would be nice to be able to get a realistic timeframe for delivery, and if that’s not available, at the minimum a human to honestly tell you where the package is in the transactionAfter reading the previous reviews about this company we opened the package to inspect for damages. No damage to our package which earned them 1 star because the rest of this timeline was difficult. I’m of the belief that you should look for the good in all companies you do business with, but this was a tough transaction

08-02-2022 at 6:30pm. I wish I could give zero stars. I just got off the phone I called to schedule my delivery and I just experienced the worst customer service in my life. After an argument ensued with this employee at pilot regarding his performance to service customers, I asked to speak to his supervisor. He stated there wasn’t a supervisor available and after he felt disrespected when I advised him to change his career path he hanged up on me. I am still baffled an employee of this horrible and malfunctioned ability to service customers would be allowed by any company.

Package finally came and I received a voice mail that my carbon fiber hood was so badly damaged it was undeliverable. I called and they said based on the photos there was a huge crack in the middle with a hole. Never again. Stay away

Delivery person did not want to bring my boxes up to my unit because he said they were too heavy. He actually said he would leave them downstairs out of my view and accessible to anyone walking by. I told him I would decline to accept them if that was the case as I had no way to get those boxes upstairs myself. I then told him that my order included delivery to my entryway. That caught his attention. He brought them upstairs. I'm giving two stars because I legit thought I was going to have to reject the delivery and not get my items.

I have to keep rescheduling my vertical blinds installer here, because Pilot Freight's "tracking" is useless; all it says is "in transit" with no indication of where it is now. They missed the first estimated delivery date over a week ago, and now the second one, which was supposed to be yesterday. They provide a link to email customer service, but their so-called "customer service" does not respond to emails! When I called "customer service", the rep was very difficult to understand (sounded like she was talking through a pillow). As nearly as I could tell, what she said amounted to "don't call us; we'll call you." Encourage your vendor to use a competent freight company like UPS Freight!

Ordered a 65" TV from Amazon in November. Scheduled delivery for Dec 17th. Nearly a month later, on the day I took off work for delivery, Pilot left me a voice-mail stating my delivery was late. After half of a day of calling and leaving messages, a guy I finally got on the phone at the local location had the nerve to tell me "hopefully we'll call you next week." Then, they told Amazon they tried to deliver my package on the 17th but I wasn't home (the day I took off work to stay home specifically for this delivery) so it was my fault I don't have it. Amazon got Pilot on the phone and was told my TV would be delivered by Xmas Eve. The following week, I received no responses to any of my emails or voice-mails, and I got "disconnected" from Pilot's automated system repeatedly. Then on Thursday the 23rd Pilot marked my TV as having been delivered and signed for on Dec 16th, the day BEFORE I got the voice-mail about my TV being delayed. Today on Xmas Eve when no TV had shown up by 6pm, Amazon refunded my full amount with apologies to the little boy who's Xmas is very-likely ruined. CANCEL ANY ORDER YOU SEE BEING SHIPPED VIA PILOT. I can't re-order on Amazon, or go to Walmart.com, or Best Buy... because they all use Pilot, though how their contracts keep getting renewed is absolutely beyond me. It looks like I'll just have to order direct from Samsung, and try to explain to a very sad little boy why his and only his Xmas is now going to be so late that it'll be next year before it's done.

I would give them no stars and I would shut the company down. Not worth the hassle nor headaches. Not accommodating. Rachet employees, and bad customer service.

How does this company stay in business? Had to refuse the first delivery because they damaged the treadmill. Now they failed to come on the scheduled date for the replacement. It would be great if companies would stop using them for freight.

Apparently they have no idea where the driver of my $26,000 piece of equipment is and can’t get ahold of their own drivers. It was supposed to be here today but there is no trace of where my equipment is and no one has answers for me and this is 100% effecting me and my business and my income.

I remember once I went to the warehouse to try and get my package because I wasn't going to be home the following day. I called to make sure that they had it. Once I got there I showed them my ID and grabbed the package and left. No problems at all and staff were pretty nice

The San Diego location's customer service is outstanding. Have used them for years and especially can say enough about Deborah's knowledge and expertise. Highly recommend.
