Fish sandwich. Don't waste your money. Even after making fresh food it was still terrible. Essentially I only had Fanta Orange for lunch. Service from the four employees that were there was excellent.

DO NOT GO HERE. Food is good but I mobile ordered 45 mins before I got there. When I got there they then started making it. Unbelievable service, poor mannerisms, all access the board this location should be shut down.

Agree with Didi comment, food is good but to wait 45-1 hr drive through is outrageous! I ordered through the app waited a full 40 mins before getting to the store was told almost ready its been 30+ mins waiting already 4+ customers waiting too ridiculous!!! So now if i really wany popeyes from this location order 2 hours in advance… its been like this since it opened 3 years ago always changing employees cause they cant manage this joint

Just go to the one on imperial beach,much much better,I ordered 2 1/4 pound shrimp and a 3 pc tender,the shrimps were just soggy,and the tenders were super tiny,like the size of a chicken wing.and even tho it was empty I waited a lot for the food. And they were eating on the kitchen

Their prices on their big screen are different from their cash register. They are hoping you don't notice the price difference. The 24 wings are actually $5 more than advertised.

This review is for Popeye's on Palm Street in Chula Vista. I was craving chicken wings today and called 4 different times to place an order. No one answered, so I drove to that location. There were no customers inside nor at the drive-thru. I walked inside and placed an order of 24 spicy chicken wings at $22.49. The cashier told me the total amount was $30.79. I told the cashier it can't be $8.00 for taxes. The cashier informs me it's $27.49 plus tax, not the listed price on their big screen of $22.49. It's $5.00 more than the listed price. I asked them that's lying and false advertising. I talked to her supervisor, Mary, and she basically said, take it or leave it. I told her the big screen behind her clearly states $22.49 for 24 wings. Mary informs that's not the right price, it's $27.49. I told her to post a big sign to inform customers of their misleading prices prior to ordering. I asked for her corporate supervisor's name (Faustino) which I will definitely call about their fraudulent pricing and misleading their loyal customers. You can't list one price then charge more for the same item.

At 8:pm they didn't have chicken sandwich or anything other than what they had ready. They were more worried about cleaning then customers.

they should close the door if they are closing early than the usual time and not wait until someone's order and not tell them after that they only do take out.

This location always gives me issues everytime I show up they forget food items EVERY TIME. I always have to double back for items I paid for. Now i just check before driving off which they also give attitude for. Also I went through the drive thru 12/02/23 and I wasn't even greeted for 15mins before saying hello and an employee rudely states that they are busy and continues to ignore me in the drive thru. I ended up leaving without ordering. I've come here multiple times as it is my local Popeyes, but this Popeyes has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. One can only compare it to an actual rude restaurant where the employees are paid to be rude. I went another night a while ago and the store was completely empty inside and I still had to wait at the drive thru for 20mins just for the employee to tell me they ran out of most the food items and that they were about to close soon which was another 30mins before closing so why didn't he feel the need to tell me almost an hour before closing they weren't making any more food. You could literally tell he was purposely trying to take the last orders excruciatingly slow. He made me say my order at least 5 times and kept saying hold on and still forgot multiple items. I doubt he got to the person behind me, it was laughable.

This was one of my worse experience I’ve ever had. DO NOT ORDER THRU UBER!!! First time we ordered a free item was offered and we were told to cancel the whole order as they didn’t have it anymore but since they had accepted the order they were going to charge us the full price for canceling. It took so long for them to cancel it on their end and then for us to reorder without the free item. Second time ordering the pick up Uber took 30 minutes just waiting for the order. We received the order and we got the wrong sandwiches, missing combos, my son’s kids meal only had one tender instead of the 4 and it was cold. Uber would only refund us $2 out of $40.
