I got here 20 minutes before they opened. I saw employees sitting down while eating. I waited in my vehicle until 10:01 AM. They open T 10;00 AM. There were 3 employees in the same area. They saw me get off my vehicle. As I was walking, one of them made eye contact with me.Then one of them kind of ran.I attempted to open the door at 10:02 AM. No one came to the door.I felt awful, BUT the other chicken place made up for it. I drove about 30 seconds to wings and things. It was worth it.How did your food taste. I don't know. Why don't you ask the employees.

I've visited this place numerous times, but I wasn't satisfied with the food this time. It was excessively oily and had a strong buttery smell. I'm unsure if they served us freshly fried chicken or if the items were old. Either way, I've made up my mind not to return there anymore!

I wish I could give negative stars! I usually go to the Mira Mesa location without any issues. This location.....always an issue. Thought I would bypass the HORRIBLE customer service by ordering from Uber. This was a $80 order before tip. The very least I expected to get what I ordered. The fries literally had like 6 fries in each pack. Of the 3 fries we ordered if you put them all together it wouldn't can to about a third of a single order. My spicy chicken sandwich and fish sandwich were missing! Sent Uber a message and got the token $5 courtesy. At this point I'm HANGRY and I'm gonna settle for a bowl of cereal for dinner. I'm mad at myself for wasting my Uber discount. Call the location and it rings forever. Hang up and call back and a guy answers "Yeah?", and doesn't say Popeyes or his name. I said "I'm calling because I just spent $80 on Uber and the order is missing my two sandwiches." The guy says "Oh yeah? Hold on." And slams down the phone. I call back and it goes to voicemail. It's now 9:30 on a Friday night. I'm not surprised by this at all. I'm only surprised that corporate hasn't stepped in and that this place remains open. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered here through Uber eats. Spent over 80$ to have basically half our food not show up. Not only is it impossible to get any customer service from Uber eats. I tried calling the store numerous times for a guy to finally answer the phone, just to hang up on me. I spoke to him calm and collected. I called back and the guy would pick up the phone and hang up the phone. This Popeyes is beyond garbage, and the people the hire to represent the business is flat out atrocious. I wouldn't give this place water if it was burning down. You lost a customer for life and I'll make sure to let a lot of other people know in the Clairemont and Kearny Mesa area to steer clear of this place. Lucky I couldn't put negative stars.

6 garlic parmesan wings were very good. Single chicken breast with a biscuit + honey + butter is good. Small macaroni and cheese a-ok. Small mashed potatoes with gravy ok. Medium fountain diet coke with free refills. $24. Comfortable seating, easy parking, friendly fast service. One of the two bathrooms was not in good condition. There is also a drive thru.

I should probably know better than to risk getting chicken from a fast food place but I was watching an old Food Network show and the guest was some head at Popeye's and they were saying how they don't use frozen chicken. So, I figured if anyone could do chicken right, maybe this was it. Not at all. The chicken may have been not from frozen perhaps (I'm not 100% sure) but it was ABSOLUTELY HAMMERED to the point of being inedible. The chicken was SO OVERCOOKED that it was difficult to eat due to being extremely dry. I guess I should have figured that a fast food worker probably wouldn't have the cooking skill to cook chicken properly, but it's not that hard so you'd figure maybe they'd train their employees. The coleslaw was okay. I seemed to get an extra side that I didn't order that looked like maybe it was supposed to be mac and cheese but I wasn't brave enough to try it, it looked disgusting. Never again.

Came here tonight and waiting 25-30 mins in line. I ordered a shrimp platter. They didn’t give me the second beans and rice I asked for. And instead of a box they buy my shrimp in the small container that the rice should have been in…. I got way less shrimp than I should have and didn’t get my second side. The biscuits thrown in the bag not wrapped properly and fell out. He also didn’t give us our drinks or a receipt. I was about to drive the 20 mins back but I would not have been nice at all. I’m beyond irritated. Y’all are foul. $36 for our food I only get half of mine and no drinks…

Johnathan was very rude. I’m always nice to customer service people and he was very rude. Not just the typical bored person(which I totally understand being bored I mean I get bored at work too), no, he was aggressive and scary, and kept saying everything in a very angry and sarcastic tone… it’s like he was on his man period or something. They should fire him immediately, because I’ll be reporting him to corporate, and I will tell them everything he said and how he held his fingers up to me because he thought I was stupid or something trying to show me how much chicken was in the serving. I’ve never met someone so aggressive and rude to someone in my life. And I’m always very nice to people that work in all levels of customer service because I have a customer service job as well..

This is the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Johnathan made my night horrible and I came in with a friendly attitude. I've never had this bad of an experience in my life with customer service. He has some serious mental and anger issues towards people. I work in customer service and I know being tired or bored doesn't mean it's bad customer service, this wasn't that, he was actually angry and every word he spat out was with malice, severe annoyance, and aggression.

Went to our local Popeyes today and had an unfortunate experience with according to my receipt Jose who helped us at the drive through at 11:55am, he couldn't have been more rude, it's unfortunate because I have experienced plenty of nice cashiers at this location, but this one specifically had zero customer service skills and couldn't be bothered at all with simply being nice! Very disappointed.

Super rude customer service. Employee had an attitude when I asked for a minute to look at the menu. When we got to the window and were receiving our drinks he handed them to us with hand gripping the top of the cup. He then very rudely handed us our food, which wasn't even the correct order. We were able to not drive away because the employee behind him noticed it wasn't the right bag. He then very aggressively snatched the bag out of my hand. The entire interaction was just rude. Then when my husband started explaining to him the correct order that's when he decided to be polite. Overall, it was a frustrating interaction. I rather drive farther now to get Popeyes.
