Called when they opened to make sure they had a notary available. They did! Charlotte was there and able to help me on my lunch hour. She was super sweet, knowledgeable, and was able to notarize my documents and ship them overnight. Thanks Charlotte!

I stopped in to mail packages and it was easy and fast to get them shipped out. They even checked to see if I had any fedex packages because the fedex pickup driver was on his way out. The best part was the warm and friendly tail wagging excitement from Cookie Dough- the most well behaved and adorable dog!

I typically don’t write negative reviews, but my experience at this Postal Annex was shocking in terms of customer service.
When I arrived, there was a sign on the door saying “back in 3 minutes,” but the wait was much longer. I didn’t mind at first and chose to be patient. However, when the employee arrived, she brought a dog into the store and even placed it directly on the counter while I was asking a question—right next to my documents, which I had to quickly move out of the way.
As I tried to explain what I needed, she was simultaneously moving large display items, creating so much noise that it was difficult for either of us to hear each other. In the middle of our conversation, she then chose to answer a ringing phone instead of assisting me.
The entire interaction lacked basic courtesy and professionalism. I had come prepared to notarize 10 documents—over $150 of business—but after that experience, I walked out.
If you value respectful, attentive customer service, I would strongly caution against going to this location.

Came here to mail a package with lithium batteries, and Lara was so accommodating and kind throughout the process!

Cecilia was so helpful with my passport renewal. I filled the forms out on-line and she did the rest. Cookie Dough, the sweet puppy, let me pet him while Cecilia got my paperwork completed. Excellent service!!

Very sweet lady in there, kind and helpful. Stayed open slightly later to complete my printing job.

I’m so glad this Postal Annex is under new ownership! The new owners are incredibly kind, professional, and helpful—such a huge improvement from before. They made my shipping experience smooth and stress-free, and it’s clear they genuinely care about their customers. It’s refreshing to walk into a place where you feel welcomed. Highly recommend this location for all your mailing and business needs!

Had to get a passport photo and honestly, this place made it so easy! The new owners are super friendly and way nicer than the old ones. They got my photo done fast, made sure it met all the requirements, and the whole thing was just super smooth. No hassle, no stress, just great service. Definitely coming back here next time I need something done!

The lady thinks she can tell who ever what ever she wants.

I had an awful experience with the lady working behind the counter. Not only was her customer service rude and unprofessional, but she also tried to overcharge me. I came in for a simple transaction, and she quoted me a price way higher than expected. When I questioned the charges, she became defensive and dismissive, showing no willingness to explain or help. Her attitude was impatient, and it felt like she was more interested in making extra money than providing decent service. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and I won't be going back.

Worst customer service by the older lady behind the counter. I simply had to print a shipping label. She presses print. Then says it’s $2.49 but we have a $5 minimum rule. Sorry I’m not paying $5 for a piece of paper I can print at home for free or pennies. She got upset when I walked out. Then I went to check the reviews and laughed when I saw a 2.2. LOL

So sorry to say b/c it's so convenient to my home, but I've had things notarized twice and the notary/store clerk doesn't know the basics of notarization, told us things that were incorrect (can easily be looked up on the secretary of state website), made so many mistakes she ran out of certificates. The second time I brought my certificates, she made so many mistakes she had to use her own certificate for the last document, and it turned out that the notarial wording was wrong so the state rejected it. We had a total of 3 documents that she notarized rejected. When we went back for a refund, she realized we had not signed her journal and proceeded to backdate 4 journal entries before she would process the refund. Also, we asked her to copy one document and the result was missing pages and they were out of order. Quite a mess and not at all apologetic.

I went to this postal annex because I was in the area. I bought two small bubble wraps three of the large packing tapes and one thing of markers. It came up to $60. I had asked for labels but there were none The lady was kind enough to throw in some labels. But since I never got a receipt I'm not quite sure if they were free or if I got charged. She told me she was unable to give me a receipt. Three days later because I came back to return a few of the items that were unused two packing tapes and the markers in exchange for two small bubble wraps. She was doing the math on a piece of paper and then trying to tell me that the bubble wraps were more than two of the large tapes and a pack of sharpies. I said so I owe you $3 you're telling me that these small bubble wrap are more than the items I'm returning? She said we're not even allowed to do returns or exchanges. Is that because you don't give out receipts? I don't have a receipt because you told me you were unable to give me one. Next thing I know she says oh yeah never mind we're good. It's very shady to me. Will not go back again. And if you go make sure you get a receipt.

Would give this place a one star for the service, but decided to give it two just because it has cool little trinkets to look at and buy. Service was absolutely horrific. I had to stand there and email the return label several times before it worked because they couldn’t just scan my return it to print it out. I was assured that it would be completely free to return this package at any USP affiliated office and wasn’t told until the end that I then owed 3$ and the lady was super rude about it. I have never in my life had to pay 3$ for a single piece of paper to be printed out. I will not be going there again for any kind of shopping needs and I also wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

Notary refused to use a South Carolina Acknowledgment form and when I told her that we were required to use the South Carolina form she told me to stop arguing with her! The Notary on duty first asked both myself & my husband to sign her notary journal in a blank section before she completed the notarization. She then said that we needed a Jurat, when I had already told her that the notarization was for an Acknowledgement. The Notary had no clue that 1. California Notaries, while in California can complete Acknowledgement forms for other States, 2. a Notary should not advise as to what form to use, 3 clients should not be asked to sign a blank section in a Notary Journal. I will never go here again for Notary Services after experiencing such incompetence and rudeness!!!
