I was able to transfer my prescriptions very easily and quickly! The medication was also filled quickly.My only complaint is that I am taking a controlled substance that is on backorder. Before I transferred my prescriptions in, I explicitly asked whether this medication is available or whether I would have problems filling the prescription at this pharmacy. I asked over the phone and also in person. Both times I was told that I would not have a problem with this prescription.My controlled prescription was sent in earlier this week and wasn't filled as quickly, which I was fine with. I called today just to double check and was told that they do not carry this medication. This is disappointing as it is difficult to access and I was told twice before that there would be no issues.I'm very happy with the customer service, so the average patient will have no issue. Just advising people to triple check for the availability of any special medications.

I’ve been filling my prescriptions at this pharmacy for almost a year now. I’ve had a lot of change in my doctors and medications throughout, and they’ve been so helpful navigating the system with me. Recently my new doctor had forgotten to refill my prescription, but they made sure I wouldn’t miss a dose—all the while treating me with earnest care. Thank you Pride Pharmacy!

I have been using Pride Pharmacy for well over a year now. In that time I have found their services exceptional. The wait times on the phone are next to nothing . There is not a single staff member at Pride that is not willing to go the extra mile. A special thanks to Lupe and Carlo for always being kind and patient with me, they never make me feel rushed and answer all my questions. Medications are never late and always delivered. We so appreciate you THANK YOU PRIDE PHARMACY!!!

Love this place. Limited hours but they deliver to my work or home and for some reason they are so much cheaper on my insurance, UHC ($1.50ish or so for most of mine compared to ($10 at CVS and Walgreens)

These folx go above and beyond to help their customers. I take a ton of medications and the person(s) who works to get them ready on the same day each month, usually Stephanie or Lupe, does an impeccable job of meticulously checking my refills and prior authorizations. They are professional, proactive and intuitive. Thank goodness for the all the folx there!!

I called in and spoke with Carlo, he was super helpful and very patient with me. I was needing assistance regarding my sons prescription and he explained everything thoroughly and was not rushing to get off the phone. I absolutely love Pride Pharmacy and the customer service provided.

This is definitely the best pharmacy I've used. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Lupe is AMAZING, nice, understanding, and listens to every concern. He will always make sure all your questions and concerns were addressed. I don't know what I would do without him! I recommend Pride to anyone who is looking for a pharmacy who knows you by name, rather than CVS who doesn't help you and sends you away. My whole family uses Pride. BEST pharmacy in San Diego!

I applause the efficiency of the team in this pharmacy. The particular eye drop that I use daily needs to be ordered each time; I dealt twice already with Stephanie who sorted out some complicated situation with the insurance and dr office for me in an exemplary manner. Thank you.

The pharmacist on duty on March 3rd 2022, apparently does not know what she is doing.I was able to pick up the prescription for my partner and I asked a simple question: he can take the medicine before or after the meal. She refused to tell me the information, using patient privacy act as she so called validate reason. Instead, she can only disclose the information to patient him or herself.After I consult a numerous Pharmacist managers cross San Diego county, RITE Aid and CVS, the feedback is what Pride Pharmacy's pharmacist's response to me was strange and unreasonable.I fully support patient privacy act, but as a pharmacy manager ( she told me via 2nd call, she is a manager ) you have to evaluate what type of questions were asked. The question I asked was a simple counseling question.They way she handled this situation indicates an inefficient operating process.We want to support local small business, but the way she handled this tiny small piece of information request was inadequate.I'm not surprised this pharmacy only has 3.5 star review.If the owner of Pride Pharmacy care about customer feedback. Please make sure your internal management level is trained on how to conduct business in a more efficient way.

UPDATE - Be sure to call their main number (619) 501-5888 (not any of the numbers they call you from like 619-876-5322) or you will go straight to their voicemail and they will not call you back. I am still annoyed that they never called me back when I left a couple messages on the 5322 line. I had to drive over there to get through to them. I was pretty frustrated, annoyed and angry, but John was so happy and nice I could not bear to be mean to him. And I know it was not his fault. I changed from One Star to Three Stars because of John that works there behind the counter. PREVIOUS REVIEW BELOW I have called Pride Pharmacy five (5) times in the last 3 days during business hours. I can never get through. I left messages and they do not return my calls. I had my prescription sent to Pride all because they deliver. But they have not delivered it and will not return my calls. I guess I will have to contact my doctor and have my prescription sent to another pharmacy.

I was hunting for a prescription to relieve my headache, and I'm glad I came across this pharmacy. The pharmacist was very friendly, even giving me advice about how to reduce my headaches! I'm very pleased with the service they offered!
