Well claimed he replaced oil cooler he said to us it's fine.after getting the claim by saying he replaced what was under warranty and 650.00 in labor he couldn't say what was definitely wrong.dropped it off engine oil clean got it back mixed with coolant now it's a cracked block or head gasket ...I just think after a thousand dollars I could have gotten a definite on the problem . I wouldn't return.

I brought my car to Max for the first time and was really impressed with the quality of work and his promptness. His price was really reasonable seems to be a very open and honest mechanic. He even let me park there for three days because I was from out of town and needed to come back for the pick-up. Thank you Max for a great job and allowing me to park there at my moment of need. Keep up the good work and I'll be referring anyone I know in the SD area!

Best Mechanic! He was referred to me by at least three different people that aren't related to each other. I drive a BMW 535i Because my car broke down on the freeway and I had to make an emergency exit I couldn't take my car to Max. Instead I had to take it to the nearest auto shop which was Midas in the sports arena area. I left my car at Midas for them to diagnose. I received a call the next day with a diagnostic of what was wrong with my vehicle. $700 later and about a half a mile away from the auto shop that "fixed " my car, it broke down AGAIN in the exact same way it had done so the night before. I called Max and he had an idea of what the problem could be. I got my car towed there this morning and within three hours Max called to let me know my car was ready. What he predicted was correct. Midas replaced two parts (one that was perfectly ok and didn't need to be fixed) but neither that solved the root problem of my car. Now, I may end up on Judge Judy fighting for my $700 back from Midas! Thank you Max for the great work you ALWAYS do! I appreciate tour promptness and reliability!

I have been dealing with Max for over 15 years. He is very professional, his service is always delivered on time, and his honesty is unmatchable. I have several time assumed that I have a much bigger problem with my vehicle than what it actually was and Max has always been forward coming and honest with me.

Met Max after a small accident with my SL 500. Max was extremely polite and helpful! At his suggestion we totaled the SL 500 and I bought a Porsche Panamera! Took it to Max and he went through the car and completed the service the was due! Max is very personable and cares about you and your vehicle! I've found a new friend and someone I have referred him to everyone that is looking for an Honest and very capable Mechanic for your car! Thanks Max!

I don't know how to describe my experience but nothing but excellence. Max is incredible and knowledge in all export cars. I took my Audi A4 and the Audi dealership told me my repairs were $4000 and MAX fixed it for $1200 - he said what they said wasn't even broken. The part they quoted me was $400 and it was only $13 bucks. Honest and great character. We need more guys like Max. Please take your car here.

Mazdi put in a faulty water pump in my vw Vanagon. It lasted less than a year. I understand parts can be faulty but he won't back up his work. I always pay his prices. He just won't return your calls. He doesn't give a s*** unless you're one of his car dealer buddies.

I recently relocated to San Diego and was attempting to get an oil change done at the BMW dealership where I have always taken my car. The price there seemed a little steep and I needed to be able to get in relatively quickly. At Pro Masters they saw me the same day, I waited at the shop while I had an oil change and tires rotated. My car has been driving great since and I felt the price was appropriate.

I highly recommend anybody with car trouble specially if it is a German car to go and see Max at pro master auto. I went there last year and had my car service the price was great very reasonable. They did synthetic German oil on my car which I didn't know much about. But when max told me how beneficial it is on my car and gas mileage I believed him. I could tell after few days. He is right the oil gives me way better mpg than before. I did go to Him again 2 weeks ago and had my synthetic oil service. They were nice and friendly, my car ran much better after I left. I recommend a friend with BMW. And she was so happy with service and price. Thank you Max.

I have been going to Max for about 7 years. He is more most honest, affordable, and kind mechanic I have ever met. As a female that knows little about cars, I get extremely anxious about getting taken advantage of by mechanics. Max always lets me know exactly what's going on and all my options. He seems to genuinely care about his customers and making you sure you comfortable and happy. I am unbelievably grateful to have been referred to him when I first moved to SD. He has done great work and continues to surprise me. More than once he ended up charging less than the initial quote. I find that amazing! I highly recommend Max and his team for all your car needs. Great service, great quality work, and you don't need to have your guard up.
