Do not rent here. I have had 50% rate increase in under two years. The last rent hike was a 20% increase with only 30 days notice, which is illegal under California law.
Also, the hours are so narrow for entry to your unit, it makes it hard to get to your items. There are also no security cameras in the building where the units are, so not great peace of mind for your belongings.
Lastly, the Public Storage app never seems to work consistently. I’m constantly having to fight with the app to get the gate open or elevator called.

I can’t express how much I have been helped at this facility. Heather has accommodated me on many occasions with a heart of kindness and compassion.She is patient, knowledgeable and showed up when I need med someone. Joe also was the sweetest kindest human being, patient and helpful. I would rent here forever! Highly highly reccomend.

Unit was broken into and robbed clean and empty, facility called to tell me lock was broken but they’ve provided no help otherwise. A security disaster here, I’d recommend looking elsewhere because nothing about this experience has been safe for my belongings that are now all gone. They don’t have cameras that work and provided no help to police.

Excellent Customer service from Employee Heather. She made the process of getting my Storage very smooth. Nice location and nice affordable prices. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone who needs a storage unit.

Luz was 10/10 helpful. On another note - If you need to come here after 5pm you are screwed. All doors and elevators automatically lock so if you never need to access here after 5 pm it’s great.

Needed a storage unit for a month. The renting process was simple and they were very accommodating when I needed to change sizes after I had already booked. The facility is clean and easy to access with a locked keypad. Only con is that some elevators were not working so when moving in/out it was a far walk with all your belongings.

I recently needed to rent a storage place, my first time ever. So happy Public Storage on Sherman St was available. It’s very clean. The 2nd floor where my storage unit was located had good energy. I felt comfortable temporarily storing my belongs there. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. I always found a flat dolly to move my items from the storage unit to my car. The restroom was always clean. I’m thankful Public Storage takes pride in offering a clean place to store items. I highly recommend using the Sherman St location.
