The hallways of the hotel were extremely cold. I was shivering walking to the elevator.
Although the food I ordered was delicious, someone was a bit heavy handed on the salt.
The free breakfast was also delicious. They offer so many breakfast options including gluten free.
Unfortunately, the biscuits and gravy were cold.
All in all it is a lovely hotel, with friendly, professional staff.

Receptionist Jay was very attentive great service! We had a great stay spacious rooms and accommodated our needs! The Breakfast ladies were very nice too!!

I reserved this hotel online about 15 minutes before I showed up to the front desk to check in. I had lost my card, was therefore using Apple Pay, which they did not accept. I wasn’t completely surprised, so I told them I was unable to pay and apologized to a lady at the front desk, and left the lobby with my luggage and no key card. Come to find out after I return home, the hotel had charged me for my room for a “no call no show”. No one at the hotel seems to understand how a no call no show, yet me speaking with two different staff members at the front desk is contradictory. So I’m going to have to pay $285 for the worst customer service experience of my life. The kicker is, they refused to let me stay due to not being able to charge my card, then took the money anyway! Don’t stay at this hotel unless you’ve got $300 to spare and a GREAT sense of humor.

The location was good, but the hotel less so. The rooms are outdated and not very clean, the furniture is old and dented, my room had a faint odor of cat urine and there was grime left over from previous guests on the door of my closet that I had to clean off. The amenities like the pool and gym were tiny so I didn’t use them.
The breakfast was fine. But served on paper plates with plastic utensils. How wasteful and cheap feeling even though it probably more expensive for the hotel than just hiring a dishwasher.
Then the hallways are kept at 60 degrees 24/7. Again horrible for the environment and expensive for them to keep frigid hallways.
Just not a lot of sense in how this hotel was run and it just left a bad taste in my mouth during my two week stay. I would not go back unless these are addressed.

The stay was just okay. When we checked in, we bought a bunch of stuff from the hotel store so they didn’t think to give us water bottles. When we came back from being out, we asked for waters and the lady looked us up, was hesitate and said we should have already had waters bottles from when we checked in. We told her we never received any. She gave us 1 water bottle when there was 2 of us? Asked for 2 and said we can refill the water bottle at the station. Finally gave us 2 waters . It was an extremely weird and uncomfortable situation to just get water….

My stay at this location was good! The rooms were very comfortable and the cleaning staff were good.
The morning breakfast bar was really good and very clean. The food was delicious and the drink machines were clean.
The hotel is located near great entertainment venues! I would recommend staying at this location.

Clean, professional and a prime location in the gaslamp district. We scored a room on the 12th floor! Highly recommended requesting this level. The 14th floor is the highest. Our room was #1221. This was our view. Happy 4th of July!

- very rude front desk staff
- the hotel room had a dead rat smell
- when called the front desk they said they can come in and spray freshner to hide the smell. But cannot do anymore. They further added feel free to complain to expedia if you are not happy.

The staff has been outstanding. Took care of everything. The breakfast was so good. Hot food got and cold food cold. Coffee had hot and iced! The staff was so attentive to our group and the others!

We had a comfortable stay at this conveniently located Residence Inn.
Check in was easy, the front desk lady learned that it was my birthday and gave me an upgrade to a 1-bedroom.
Room was clean and comfortable as you’d expect from a Residence Inn (or any Marriott property). No house keeping cleaning for our weekend 2-night stay, which is what we would have wanted anyway.
Parking: $65/day valet was a bit pricy but I guess that’s the going rate in downtown.
We accidentally left our iPad after checked out, and had unexpected interactions with the back office staff. I have to say, everyone we worked with was patient and courteous, while understandably being cautious with security.
