Just went to fill my prescription that my doctor put in for me… was told I could pay out of pocket or call my insurance to cover it. I opted to pay out of pocket after my insurance said they’re not covering it, the pharmacist KHARISSA that’s pregnant proceeds to yell at me and let her hormone induced stress out at me the customer that will literally die without their medication. She said “it’s not my fault you have a chemical dependency I’m the professional.”
Yeah my doctor wouldn’t be conducting sessions on me and prescribing medication that isn’t detrimental to my health for no reason- and having to deal with some raging hormone mess that isn’t in the right state of mind to work is flabbergasting. If it were her health she’d probably slide whatever she needs into her pocket. Ridiculous now I have to go to the hospital for the night hope you do the same girl when your kid is born. You’re a pharmacist, not a doctor. My doctor prescribes the medication that I need for a reason and you put a hault because you’re pregnant and you want to let your personal emotions take over; I have no sympathy. I’m a diehard believer that you are a true equal to this society if you feel that, you simply can’t work, maybe take the time off that you are so rightfully owed by the law. After speaking to my attorney it’s good to know that this woman was in violation of HIPPA.

i went in the other day to pick up my insulin and the pregnant pharmacist was clearly having a bad day. she was rude and she was making it seem like me picking up my medication was destroying her day. im a 55 year old woman im a senior citizen the least i deserve is some respect.

I love this place. I have been coming for years to get prescriptions for my dad. They always asked how he was doing and I greatly appreciate the kindness. Wonderful staff here.

The pharmacy staff are wonderful! They go above and beyond to be helpful and kind. Because of a specific prescription I had to move one of my prescriptions to CVS. I was appalled at the difference. Even the store manager was uncaring and almost rude. I worked very hard with my doctor to be able to return to this Rite Aid. All of the store staff have always been kind and very helpful. They are the best I have ever found.

We love this rite aid on niagra. Always a nice greeting when we enter and the pharmacy is great! Everyone is super friendly and helpful, and super efficient. In and out in no time. Thank you everyone! See you when my prescription is due again.

Unacceptable.
I work for uber eats part time and EVERY single time I shop from this rite aid they are out of pretty much everything on the list, and many times out of the alternatives as well.
Hire a competent manager, if needed reach out to me and Ill do it as a side job, but this is insane.
I will be declining orders from this rite aid from here on, its just more problems than needed and always takes more time than reasonable.

I did not receive my meds. New rule is you have to have your I.D to pick up some medication. You are allowed to have someone else get it as long as they have I.D. makes no sense because I don't know anybody in Ocean Beach and if I ask someone I will need to kick them down with some of my pills and or I just don't like to have my privacy put out there.
It's a holiday weekend now and I just found out that I can show rite aid my picture i.d I have stored on my cellphone . I wish they would have told me this when they didn't allow me my meds! I had a rough time without my prescription and spent hundreds of dollars friverously because of my mental state.
Recap- be sure the owner of rite aid contacted me thru this I went back and was treated worse!!! I got into it with Tatiana . I'm here in o.b no. Anxiety meds . Still !bad customer service shame on the pharmacy .

By far, the worst customer service of any pharmacy I've ever been to. The staff loudly and blatantly with no tact, offered my privileged medical information to those around to hear. Worst part is, the information she spouted was incorrect. I was embarrassed myself and for the staff. Since the staff didn't know how to use the computer to see the updated prescription from my doctor, the pharmacist finally inserted herself and finally found my prescription and filled it. No apologies, no acknowledgment, nothing. I quietly and calmly walked out and will never subject myself to that treatment again. Bye Rite Aid OB!
