I was looking to build a T track table. We picked out all the parts for me to build it and I asked are all thgese parts going to cost as much as the preassembled table. AS it turnd out parts cost more . So we gladly put the parts away and I bought the table. the sales man was all about helping me. Great experence.

TallGirl loves woodworking. I know enough about tools to get in to trouble, and debt. The good folks at Rockler however, know alll the things. I went in with TallGirl to "preshop" for the holiday. I took mental notes of what she wanted. Then I went back, and the staff, helped me figure out what she needed and wanted. They are kind souls with folks like me, who know next to nothing; and they are professional and knowledgeable with those who know a whole lot more. Christmas morning was a success, thanks to the staff and their support!!

Jennifer J. is amazingly knowledgeable in wood and finishes. She gave me good ideas to solve my staining problems. The Clairemont Mesa Store has an excellent assortment of hardwoods, finishes, tools, and advise. If I had a barn, I would convert it to a Rockler-outfitted wood shop. I highly recommend this store.

Beware on ordering online !Once u purchase your shipping date will change ,there excuse is always on the vendor , the worst part they don't see the problem about delivery date changes ,and no info by Rockler on when exactly they will ship ,a company that doesn't value customers deadlines !!!!!

The people working here have always been nothing but helpful and willing to answer any of my questions about their products or woodworking in general. Woodworking in general always has a "good ol boys" feel, but as soon as you actually talk to anyone they're all incredibly helpful. Bought my SawStop PCS 3.0HP from Rockler.com on the recommendation of the stores sale associate. I get all my hardware and parts here whenever possible. I wouldn't recommend them for wood or sheet goods unless you're in a pinch though. Only complaint is that the prices are not competitive with online, but it's brick and mortar with real people working not some cheapo drop shipping scheme. Support this business so woodworking can live on in San Diego!

Friendly store with great quality products, and expert advice. I was greeted right at the door, and helped immediately. They found the specialty hinges I needed, and birch veneer. Ready now to continue my sink cabinet restoration! Oh, and on the way out I saw this $25 wood bin with wheels on sale. Just what I needed in my garage to hold many wood pieces from years of projects. Now those loose pieces are tidied up, see picture!

I recently finished a two day ‘river board’ making class at Rockler San Diego. We used a band saw, epoxy mixing with color pigments, table planer, table saw, router and sander, plus finishing wax to create an epoxy river pattern in a cheese serving board. The class is small (up to four people) and includes all the materials and access to all the tools. Christopher is passionate, and knowledgeable about woodworking. He was extremely abundant with his time and delivered the best possible intro to woodworking experience, from safety briefings, to proper usage of each tool, spoke about how wood behaves, types of cuts, terminology, all delivered in a relaxed, personable way. I enjoyed creating something from scratch, and already committed to a new hobby (got some wood and power tools there after the class) and will be going back for more. Big thumbs up ? to Chris for the awesome workshop, and to the entire Rockler San Diego team, all super nice and accessible people. I highly recommend.

For Christmas, my wife purchased a class for me on how to make a "river board". It was basically a slab of walnut with an epoxy resin river running down the middle. I saw it as an awesome way to get introduced to epoxy without going out and spending a paycheck on a gallon of the stuff. The class was awesome and Chris was a great instructor. He was patient and gave us a lot of good info that youtube or product instructions don't tell you about. The class is limited to four people which ensures that no one feels excluded. The variety of new classes is pretty cool and it sounds like they are looking to add more and more.In the end I came home with a really cool charcuterie board! Would definitely do another class if one came up that I liked (wood turning, perhaps).

Was there today looking for a shaperorigin and a router table system, I may as well been invisible. I spent 15 minutes trying to get some help and it seemed I was purposely avoided. Maybe I should had worn a golf shirt and khakis to fit in, I am a professional woodworker and will take my business elsewhere.

I have taken two of the classes, one for the ring making and another for the cheese board, and loved both the results. The staff is so knowledgeable and welcoming to both experienced woodworkers and newcomers like me. I'd definitely love to take more classes in the future.
