I only gave a star in order to post, so any way never take your vehicle to lusti motors they will rip you off they charged me $260 for parts that total to $75. I took my Volvo 244 to them to work on just some simple easy work they tried to charge me $745 it sounded like a total rip off, so I called up Volvo assuming to hear a bigger price that would make me feel Lusti Motors was giving me a better deal but to my surprise Volvo says that they don't work on their Volvo 244 models anymore but Lusti Motors is definitely over charging me because the 244 is super easy to work on so no reason to be charging a ton for labor and the parts for the job my car needed are cheep. Volvo recommend a different shop where their old mechanics who do work on my model are now at when I contact them they tell me they charge $390 for the same job Lusti Motors charges $745 for, and that I quote "lusti Motors is definitely ripping you off dude) course I called Lusti Motors spoke with Ryan (he's the big spokesman of the place) he tells me "Volvo doesn't know what they're talking about" in other words the company that invented my car doesn't know what they're talking about. So if that isn't a huge red flag not to do business with Lusti Motors then red flags don't exist also they sabotage parts on your car, go for a simple oil change and they find a problem that you never had. When you leave their lot you leave with a problem that did not exist until you left your car with them,Lusti Motors charges $130 for inspections except for when they sabotage your car, those inspections are free.

I picked a star just to be able to even write a review. The worst service ever. This company rips you off and tells you they fixed your car....charge you thousands of dollars....then within 24 hours another problem pops us. I requested to speak to the owner and get a call from Andre claiming he is the Owner with such rude attitude and ignorance. Never acknowledged he was the owner and did not even help with my complain..he was worse than the othe

Boy am I glad I chose this place. I have owned German cars for over 15 years and counting and have been through multiple repair shops around the San Diego and Los Angeles area I have to tell you this place may look a little old but the customer service is Premier mainly due to a gentleman named Ryan Lawrence that is the local service writer. One of the more knowledgeable technicians and service writers I've met. Which has now made me a lifelong customer. I took my BMW three series in to have a radiator replaced not only did they do a full-blown inspection but they found areas that had major defected and deteriorated hoses throughout the cooling system. He had the parts the same day and if he couldn't get them that day the next morning they were in hand and installed on the car. This Has to be one of the better price repair shops that I've been to. Very competitive pricing and my repair tech Dale is the man with the plan. Make sure you get Ryan and dale. That's the A squad for sure. Thanks, Ryan.

My wife's car was was making horrible sounds when she would go in reverse and then when she would drive. I found this place to help out with the sound. They were super dope when on the phone and made me feel like family. They had it and wasn't trying to play me, told me what they think it might be and the price. Well I told them thug life and fix it so the wife won't complain. They hooked it up and the wife hasn't complained. These dudes are legit!! Let's get my dudes on the map!! Amazing work and they will make sure you're car is on point. Definitely going back for everything on both of my cars!! They have life time customers!!

My experience was a complete disappointment after 25 years of family patronage. We have always had complete trust in the decisions of the Lusti team, but this was destroyed in our last two visits. We will not VW returning then or recommending them in the future. They don't deserve one star.

My experience with Lusti Motors has been great. Awesome team of service professionals who are truly skilled at what they do. Ryan has assisted me through the maintenance needs of two different vehicles now, and he's the reason I go to Lusti. He is forthcoming and honest with his advice and expertise, from service needs to bodywork recommendations. Thanks, Ryan!

Lusti Motors did a great job with my vehicle. Ryan was able to arrange a maintenance visit on the fly, and technician John did a great job with diagnosing the problem with my vehicle and illustrating the exact problem and how it was fixed. Very happy with their attention to detail and ensuring I was happy with my visit. Will definitely return again for work on my Audi A4 Avant.

I recently had to get my car towed because of a fuel leak. I spoke with the mechanic Ryan at Lusti motors and he helped me take care of everything from assisting me to get the car towed to the shop to performing the required maintenance and mechanical labor. He was friendly, professional and helped me get the issue resolved promptly. I haven't had any problems since. Cost was also very reasonable. I would highly recommend him.

Just took my Mercedes C300 for a oil change and as usual the service was absolutely incredible and excellent I would recommend them to anyone who needs service on Mercedes. They also return my car clean and washed

Again, great service on my brake fluid change! My car is a little quirky, but the guys were really patient and gave it the best possible service. And, they explained exactly what they did which is always great! Nice people, great showroom, just go.

Have to take my 5 star review back. People, before you take your car here you gotta take your time and read all the bad reviews! Yes they may have good customer service but does the car really get fixed? You'd find that they are quite accurate. I brought my car in on May 6th for a back brake lamp malfunction and also for an oil change to prepare for a 2,500 mile drive. They called me in the afternoon to let me know that there was a rotation imbalance in the car that's going to cost me $500 to fix. When I picked up the car at the end of the day less than 5 miles later I was stranded on the highway because now my ENGINE isn't working. It's like bringing the car in for having a common cold and a day later after picking it up from Lusti Motors my car now has stage 3 cancer. Got the car towed and called them. They offered to take it back and fix it while allowing my husband and I to use a complimentary loaner vehicle which was nice. But still. Turned out the water pump and the thermostat wasn't working. And it was going to cost $1,200 to fix. Though it was odd that before we brought the car in there was nothing wrong with the engine and all of a sudden it doesn't even drive anymore, we were so desperate to start our 2,500 mile cross the country trip that we said yes and let them fix our car. Big mistake. After getting our car back we took it to another car shop and found out that while Lusti was replacing our thermostat, they BROKE our pipe (which costs $300) and just simply ZIP TIED it back together without even telling us! The alternate auto shop described the issue as "unprofessional lazy guess work", they also cracked the cap that's supposed to connect everything back together, and left a bunch of s*** under the hood including a lot of broken pieces of stuff and a lid for coolant bottles. Also just a speculation. We own a 2013 bmw 320i. It's not the best bmw in the world but it's still relatively new (98k mi) so after time and time of taking it back to lusti motor for something wrong with the car, i can only assume that they're tampering with our car to keep us coming back. Or maybe they just keep messing up parts of our car as they're fixing it hence the zip tied pipe. Anyways. Regardless If you're reading this review just know I'm not bullshitting you I'm just tryna help you out and save you some money in the long run. If you and you recourses are already spread thin lusti will be sure to take advantage of you. There are better shops in San Diego that you can go to instead of this.

They serviced my Mercedes. Oil, fuel filter and multipoint inspection. They have the proper computer equipment for Mercedes and got the job done in a timely manner. Everyone was courteous and polite. They even provided me with a ride home.

We've been taking our cars there for 20 years. Great service and a great team of professionals. Oscar does an amazing job communicating with us. Plus they are nice enough to give you a loaner car.

Lusti Motors no longer deserves my recommendation. Wanted $8,000 to $12,000 to repair my hybrid. Another shop did it $941.

I came to Lusti for the very first time, after leaving the dealer where I had always taken my car. I had felt ambushed by the dealer when they surprised me with a terrible story about all the things that were suddenly wrong with my car (and I had taken it in every 6 months to AVOID surprises). Cost estimate was $2500. Wow. I had heard great things about Lusti, so I drove straight there. They did a complete checkup, paying particular attention to the areas the dealer had found. It would have been easy for Lusti Motors to tell me I indeed needed all that work, but that they would do it for $2300. But no, they were completely honest and told me I only needed one thing replaced and everything else was fine. Total bill was under $750. And the car is like new again. Thank you so much.
