It's an unassuming shop that has a good variety of banh mis (sandwhiches) among other typical Vietnamese Deli selections. The sandwhiches were pretty good and fairly priced. They definitely hit the spot when you've got that craving! The staff is very friendly, if a little bit sparse. They do work quickly to get yoru order prepared. I liked their selection of banh mis, they've got the classics and few others for the uninitiated. The bread was great, crunchy exterior and soft on the inside. The shop isn't much, but if you're there for a quick bite it's not that much of a factor - cause all you want is that banh mi flavor! Would return to grab another bite!

The man that work here might be the owner. Anyway he is freaking rude and don't know how to be respectful. My coworker come here and purchase plain bread all the time (six for $5) This rude man was busy and behide the counter wanted to charge me $1.50 each so six would be $9. This guy is so stupid he need a calculator for that. Anyway I might come back if he is not working. All the girls that work here are cool and pretty. That dumb man need to learn from these girls

I recently stumbled upon Banh Mi Saigon, and it's become my new favorite spot! I tried the Banh Mi Special and Vietnamese Iced Coffee - both were incredibly delicious, and the coffee was the perfect size at a reasonable price. The owner is very kind, friendly, helpful, and understanding. Besides the fantastic banh mi, they offer fresh sushi rolls and reasonably priced Vietnamese cuisine party trays. Parking was easy around 9 a.m., and for a quick visit, you can call ahead for pick-up. I highly recommend Banh Mi Saigon to everyone- I'll definitely be back!

You need to try their bbq pork (#5) sandwich and coffee milk. I used to live the in the Philippines where we had a vietnamese rcamp and I loved their bahm mi, this shop reminds me of my childhood. Their sandwiches are amazing. The owner is friendly as well.

This has got to be the worst banh mi dac biet that I ever had. There weren’t enough vegetables. The meat was congealed. The steamed ham looked like it was frozen before and defrosted for use because it had a ton of holes in it. It’s not supposed to have holes.

I had many different ban mi's across san diego and even up and down California.. but this place is by far my favorite. The bread is well toasted crispy and light on the inside, makes to be more enjoyable

Very nice woman behind the counter. Bahn mi was not good. Old bread crumbled apart, meat was super chewy and fatty. Eggrolls had good flavor but were probably fried twice so they were pretty dark, dipping sauce was good

As a Vietnamese it pains me to leave a negative review but I had to. We drove from Los Angeles and arrived around 5 pm and was craving some Banh Mi. These was highly rated on yelp and didn't look like a place that bought reviews nor a super clean western place on a beachside that would artificially inflate the rating. This was a legit hold in the wall place. Unfortunately the Banh mi. We had Banh mi dac biet and Banh Mi Bo Nuong and I have to say it was flavorless without any pate nor butter on the bread. The bread was stale and slightly hard on the inside. The cold cuts and beef tasted like cardboard dipped in lite soy sauce and pepper. I was not able to take more than 2 bites. The rest of the family was able to finished the food. My veteran dad, who ate anything, while in a Vietnamese prison and never complained of food in his life said... this sandwich "was not too good". I don't know if the store was about to close and didn't have any ingredients or chef left for the day and the owners, who seemed nice, had to make the sandwiches. In brief, I hope you get better. I hope it was a bad day. I pray you survive because if you were in Westminster or LA you would not have made it.

Wow! The food here was so delicious and affordable. With the rise of inflation I was shocked that I paid for a sandwich, smoothie and added tip for $14 (sandwich was about $6, smoothie with boba was $5 and $3 tip). The bahn mi was delicious with plenty of fresh vegetables. The lady who helped me was very kind and made me feel in community with her :) There's 2 or 3 tables inside so there is the option to sit there but the food is packaged more in a to-go style. Great lunch option and I've already been telling friends to visit :)
